What's even more heartbreaking i think that Jamie and Nation woild have still tried to work with John if he told them what he did. Be sympathetic. They were what we all want as friends and unfortunately that love they had was given to a complete heartless and selfish man

I don’t believe this was a mental health issue except for the pathological lying, which was probably life long, and for attention. He not only stole money, but their personal credit card numbers, and had used them. He was planning to flee. He bought the knife and brought it to their house. He started attacking her from behind. I think he thought he’d kill her first, and then kill Nation. Then I thought he was going to run, and use the credit cards as long as he could. I don’t believe any of his other bs. And there are plenty of bald, overweight gay men. What he’s saying is the equivalent of saying all heterosexuals look like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and because we don’t, we’ll never find a lasting relationship. His relationships probably didn’t last because he lied and stole.

Maybe he was gay…. I dont think he was. I think he was whatever brought him sympathy and support. If he could declare himself a wounded gnat, he would. I dont think he desired Jamie's husband for himself, he had already been lying long before he met either Jamie or her husband. He was simply a diseased minded individual who needed serious intervention, but for whatever reason no one called him out on time or noticed. I hope he finds all the "dicks" he wants in jail.

I believe his motive to killing her was to keep his lies hidden, however I also believe there was underlying jealousy that came out that day. They were clearly both amazing people inside and out and he…well he was not, and would never be on their level. Just a sad selfish man and he’s is exactly where he should be!
