Excellent review of this case! Why I don't understand is WHY you keep refering to Jessie as "they", when she herself says "I" and not "we". So if you were documenting about somebody who decides that any reference to her/his person MUST be with "it", would you follow this?

EXCUSE ME????Yes, the LDS church HAS responsibility on this. THE BISHOP HAS A RESPONSABILITY ON THIS! What the hell!! Their Bishop knew AND DID NOTHING but tell them what was being told. DO BETTER! Obviously not every one of the LDS people are this level of insane BUT GOD DAMN, DON'T YOU THINK IS BEEIN A LOT OF LDS PEOPLE DOING THIS TYPE OF BS???? Ruby is awful. Don’t get me wrong. But I don’t think she’s throwing her kids under the bus; I think that Jodi has convinced her of this. It’s exactly what she did to her niece Jessi, who has said in interviews that while she understands that what Ruby has done is horrible, that she knows Jodi is behind all of it.
And yes—logic does have some bearing in this. And if somebody told me my 10 year old son had been a porn addict since 3, I’d tell them to go sh*t in their hat. But Jessi says that the devastating thing about Jodi is that she is so convincing that you end up believing whatever she says, even when you know it’s not true…she’ll convince you that it is.
I’m an atheist, so she wouldn’t have any pull on me anyway, but Ruby was already devout Mormon and didn’t strike me as the most stable person in the world.
This is just a long way to say, she damn well should know better…but I don’t think she does. I think she honestly believes whatever Jodi tells her and this sex addiction crap is her MO. And remember Satanic Panic? Unethical “therapists” convinced people of ridiculous things—of their parents r**ing them, allowing others to do so, killing the consequent babies and eating them. Nice normal average people were convinced of this because they trusted manipulative therapists who used unethical methods to convince them. Who knows how many lives were ruined. Those stories are much crazier even than what they are accusing the little boy of and these people absolutely believed these things happened.
It’s Jodi. I would bet everything that Jodi convinced Ruby of this crap.
Ruby deserves to be in jail…but Jodi needs to do serious time.

I’m so heartbroken about these people in our state that keep doing this. This is just so close to home because I live in Utah and never in my life. Did I think things like this would be happening in my own state but I do hear more and more about the LDS colt or religion or anything like that and I just feel bad for the kids and I hope to pray that they get help and know that it isn’t their fault.

The abuse she's accusing Russell of inflicting and the things he was supposedly doing at such a young age is LEARNED. So, even if it is true (I personally don't believe it is), then he must have experienced it himself and learned that behavior. So, who exposed him? As a newbie to these women and the court case. I thought that they were a couple. I don’t understand how they blogged the abuse to an audience. Yet it took such a long amount of time to be arrested. How could people watch the amount of abuse that took place. A child to be accused at three years old for inappropriate touching and has a porn addiction.
In my professional training we would immediately flag that this child was a victim of abuse. I don’t know of any child of this age having the expertise to navigate the world of porn. My thoughts are it’s a lie to make people focus on something else. They have tortured these children and abused them across every spectrum of abuse. I’m now in my seventies and have never ever heard a case like this. How far were they away from murder this is where these cases usually end.
