Hi Emily, I have been quite invested in Dan Markel’s case, personal connections in Toronto. You may want to go to STS or Mentor Lawyer, Court TV and you can hear how us Canadians pronounce Adelson and Markel. in Canada is Meghan Markle- the actress in Suits ( which I worked on for a few seasons).

Ruby will place all the blame on Jodi manipulating her. She most likely will have to do some prison time but nothing compared to the time Jodi will get. If Jodi ‘s niece testified and other clients , plus ruby there might not be a need a reason to force kids to testify. If they get Jodi to take a plea deal of 25 years and 10 for Ruby I think the judge would take it rather than putting the children on the witness stand

I did kind of laugh, though sadly. Of course she is not having a good time in county jail! They are required by law to give necessary medication, and I assume ( guessing here) have her blood pressure monitored weekly. I suppose having them draw a hot bath with rose petals is not going to happen though.
