From what I understand a 911 dispatcher actually has access to GPS location via your cell phone. While it’s not a precise Location they can still do that if an address can’t be provided. I don’t know if this is a lack of training or laziness.

So many operators are rude and insensitive to the caller. Not helpful. I’ve experienced myself several times. Idk who they’re hiring all over the country. MN here.

She just sounds like she’s new. I don’t think she said anything really wrong. She said you need to tell me where you are. Yeah you do. And then he thinks can’t you? You know locate me by my phone he watches too much TV.

There are YT vids about 911 operators being charged with crimes because many of them have hung up on people without cause, have been malicious & callers were killed during their call etc. It's a crazy world we're living in.
