Unraveling the Nightmare: Teen Vanishes Following Night of Revelry
In this chilling case, a teenager mysteriously disappeared after a wild night of partying with friends. The investigation into this abduction reveals a web of deceit and betrayal that goes beyond mere evil intentions. The perpetrator’s cunning tactics and calculated moves make it clear that this is not an ordinary missing person case, but a sinister crime that demands swift and thorough investigation. The disturbing circumstances surrounding this abduction serve as a stark reminder of the dangers lurking in the shadows of society.

To whoever reads this:
You deserved better..
Im so proud of you for not allowing your hurt to bleed into other people.
For using the ONLY examples you had(BAD exqmples), as an example of exaclty what you DONT, WONT be/become.
Im proud that you broke the cycle.
YOU did that!
Its not an easy feat.
Small advice while you heal:
Dont forget to feed your inner child as you grow.
You deserve the joy that was stolen from your childhood. Its INCREDIBLY healing. (Buy the toy, wear the fuzzy onesie) whatever "childish" thing that brings you joy.
Hang in there. You deserve a better tomorrowš¤š½š„ŗ
I have just barely started the episode but noticed the comments (and that the video is about my namesakeš¢)

Personally, if you can think about doing it then you should be punished for it, Now in some cases if it's self-defense and you're trying to save your own life then I can see that.
@mousemd
Maybe my upbringing wasn't as bad as his? I have underlying PTSD, which can be brought full blown out if you place enough pressure in the right places. I don't harm anybody, but have threatened self harm. I believe that my 3 sibs suffer the same thing though none of us have been diagnosed. The doctors don't make any money on psych meds, so they diagnose you with something else. I don't need meds. I need effective counseling. My sibs use substances to cope

One time I was in Aruba with my friend we were both 22. We asked 2 local guys about where to go to get on a specific excursion. They tried to get us to go with them instead on their boat for half the price. We said no thank you and walked away. No fucking way we'd get in a boat with those 2. Be smart ladies. There's a lot of horrible people out there and we don't stand a chance against a man with the intention to harm/kill.
@jenniferc8306
So tired of these monsters using a bad childhood as an excuse. My siblings and I all feared our alcoholic abusive father. At an all time high creating booby traps when we slept so we'd know if he was going to snap and kill us. Absolutely terrifying. However all four of us are are in our late twenty's and early thirtys and wouldnt hurt a fly. If anything a shit childhood gave us a reason to be the best we could be for our kids. F this guy. And i truly hope they find her cousin šš¼
@larsvonrinpoche1229

Iāve learned in alll of these murder docs and stuff- if you light up a room, or the life of the party, and always stayed in communication with your entire familyā¦ā¦ your going to get murdered.
@timsmusic7349
Didnāt listen to this because YouTubers are getting too annoying and their sponsorship deals are insane for largely unproductive and useless opinions. I couldnāt care less what your opinion is and it makes zero difference to anyone in life. Nothing to be learned and you just trying to calibrate things for maximum clicks. You guys are getting so boring and Iām tired of YT suggesting you guys.
@lizzwilliams6022
I hate how the media just loves to drag in drama for cases like by asking family's if they think police is holding stuff bak from them and so on! Smh
@taylordevore2563
Love you, but PLEASE slow down. Iād rather listen to a longer video than have speedy chat in my ear. Ty

I live in Reno. I remember this being so prominent on the news when it happened. š
@toxic.forest
This case is sad as hell and none of these girls are at fault truely. Um, but about the cousin at the end…. why the FUCK would you even consider for a moment getting on a plane (or in a car or anythinf else) with someone you. dont. know. ?? ESPECIALLY knowing what happened to Bri. Stranger-Danger is ingrained in us since childhood. It doesnt change just because you are no longer a child or think the person is nice/cute/honest. They are a stranger. The end.

Itās sad cause the dad either did it out of shame or he did it because eventually they wouldāve taken the funds if he was guilty and he knew if he was dead they couldnāt and the family would get more inheritance.

This whole story reminded me of Brian Koberger… the sketch even looked like him!

This story hits incredibly home for me and so much of the Reno community from back then.
Brianna disappeared in the early morning on a Sunday. I lived in a duplex directly across the street from the house where she disappeared, we had a big gravel parking lot that exited onto Mackay St. right in front of that house (though my place faced the cross street).
The next morning on Monday, I walked outside to leave for work, and my entire parking lot was filled with cop cars from 3 jurisdictions. They had to move their patrol cars so I could leave for work. I could see them going in and out of that house and wondered what was going on.
When I got to work, I noticed a missing person flyer on the door. My coworker told me she met a guy at the karaoke bar the night before whose cousin had gone missing, and heād asked her to post the flyer. It was Brianna Denison. Out of curiosity, I looked up the address she went missing from because the street name sounded familiar. My skin crawled when I realized it was the house across the street, and thatās why all those cops had been there that morning.
I remember that house well. It stood out because of the big glass front picture window and glass front door. The thing was, neither had any sort of covering, so you could clearly see the entire ground floor if you were walking or driving by when their lights were on. That couch she disappeared from? It was right in front of that glass front door. Anyone passing by could see that someone was laying on that couch. As a mom, o remember being concerned back then about the lack of privacy that house had, and had even remarked on it to my kids that it looked very unsafe.
I remember the neighborhood men being asked to give DNA samples, and the anxiety and terror we all felt. The house is only a block from campus and is very much a student neighborhood.
Fast forward and Iām working at the Reno Police Department when the tip comes in about James Biela. It was the first solid tip theyād had in awhile and Iām so grateful to that woman that called it in.
Brianna and what happened to her still has an effect on that area today. One great thing that came out of this was the Denison family donated funds to the university to start a safe ride program that exists to this day. They increased security and installed emergency phones across campus. A couple years after Briannaās death I was a student at that campus and used the safe ride van often, and truly appreciate this gift from the family.
Thanks for covering this, and sorry for the long post. This story always hits hard.

āBe nice. Donāt kill people.ā This is something I need on a shirt!
@DD-rl4mj
As far as I could tell the Perps āabusiveā childhood was unsubstantiated hearsay. The defense lawyer was throwing a Hail Mary because their client was such a heinous completely guilty perpetrator, the jury still gave it capital punishment. What happened to Olie the Collie? I bet his heart was broken. This one was so bad I think I need a break from true crime for a while. š¢
