They never released roberts interrogation footage because he is a textbook mental psycho who would get off on knowing others are watching his bizzare interrogation interview. I think its the ultimate cheeky move of the police to just give him the middle finger and not release his schizoid convos. He was probs such a narcissist whilst rambling schizoid like about some delusional plan that would've never worked. 2 insane kids who destroyed their family over their insane teenage emotions.

I wonder if the background is a green screen. I can't figure out if its real or not. lol. Those two little kids in the bathroom……I just don't even have words to describe how I feel right now. Their plan for the baby is even more sick. This makes me cry so bad.

I think Robert was the leader. Absolutely. I think Michael was a very young 16yr old lacking confidence and real world experuence. With a very unformed mind.. easily led.
In some ways I think he also is a victim of Robert.
I dont excuse, nor can i understand the bathroom door..absolutely monstrous betrayal.
But part of me would like to see him have a bit of hope. For someday far in his future.

Wow! When I saw Broken Arrow for a split second I thought you were going to discuss the Broken Arrow boy. (Such a freak accident/ very old case where he accidentally shot himself in the head with an arrow). I quickly realized this wasn't the story but Wow. I don't even know what to say… May the victims rest in peace 😢 So sad. The park that was built in their memory was absolutely beautiful.

Usually I have some kind of opinion or something after a case and after this one… I’m speechless 💔 hearing their voices begging them to stop, hearing what they did to their family, their plans for their younger sister, how they tricked their siblings into their murder..just everything breaks my heart. I honestly don’t know who I believe was the mastermind but I do believe he regrets his decisions that night. Probably being in jail, hearing what happened to his brother during court and everything else played a factor in how remorseful he is. As he should be. I really wish everyone could have survived but I’m so glad that they have each other to lean on and they’re not alone after this..

I live around an hour from Broken Arrow. I was 12 at the time and remember being so mind blown that two teens would kill their entire family.

This case is incredibly sad, horrendous, and brutal.
What a horrible nightmare for everyone involved.
I have a really hard time understanding some of these psychotic and sociopathic mindsets and the inner delusions, and their strange, dissociative ways of role playing in fantasy and illusion. Like, wth? Seriously? These "life goals" that some younger people have fallen for these days about fame, notoriety, status, and celebrity worship. There are some crazy huge distortions and mental disorders playing out in so many disturbing ways.
Sadly, I dont believe that individuals like this can be successfully rehabilitated. They are a very real danger to themselves and all others around them.

Homegrown Tulsa girl ✋ I grew up in and around BA my entire life. It’s exactly the kind of town you’d think it is: High school football is God on Friday nights, and then front row pew sitting on Sunday mornings. Everyone always says stuff like “this doesn’t happen here.” But that’s EXACTLY where it happens. I have to wonder if just one person had paid attention or shown some interest in these brothers, would that family be gone now? Parental ineptitude aside, I always wonder if just one thing had been different would this have happened? Or, was the oldest boy rotting inside from the start and the younger one prone to his influence because they were socially isolated?

This reminds me of this case of a guy who always wanted to be a thief since a kid because he wanted notoriety as well. He went on to commit a bunch of robberies, held a woman hostage and later got the same woman to write a biography about him. It's crazy that some people dream of this kind of notoriety since they are kids and really go on to do it later in life.

Notice almost every murderer has the same look. They're not part of the popularity click . What if accepting them at an earlier age to a social group where looks aren't affected to where they can go out and enjoy a social life and having a girlfriend would direct them to a different direction. Most murders are less in looks and are always talked about in school neglected possibly where it all starts from.

I happen to fundamentally disagree with the legal and logical concept of multiple consecutive life sentences. I'm relieved the younger sister found it in herself to oppose the death penalty since that would have been a further disaster upon her, basically asking her to endorse the state-sanctioned murder of her two brothers, going through 20 + years of appeals and trauma. The entire story is utterly tragic; I do find the oldest brother Robert seemingly mentally ill, perhaps schizophrenic and psychopathic. I'm unsure about Michael, definitely weaker in character, and yes, I believe in some kind of rehabilitation, perhaps after 50 years. I totally agree regarding the mother's lack of foresight and intuition, disregarding her daughter's distress and warning signs. The knife collection and murderous fantasies were not to be shrugged off.

A system should be put in place to automatically flag & track individuals when suspicious items are bought together especially in high quantities / in bulk 🙄‼️
We all know the government has this technology to ""secretly"" collect our data & be spying on us… 😅 so why aren't they putting it to good use & actually protecting their people from potential dangers⁉️🤔💬

But I really want to understand WHY the brother were willing and even hopeful in killing their family. Like, is there anything we can learn from their horrible event. It can't be just for fame. I think they tried to claim child abuse when they were younger but there was no evidence of that. Maybe they thought they would succeed where the Menendez brothers failed.

I have been an avid true crime viewer for years, but this specific video made me question the whole idea of it. Is this type of content not exactly both the origin and reason that these boys committed the crime – where their evil fascination grew and where they wanted to end up. They probably hoped and dreamed of videos detailing their gruesome crimes being made and posted on YouTube. Obviously, Annie posted this with the best intentions and spreading important information such as this is vital for learning for the future, but I can't help but think about the other side of it. This has made me seriously question my true crime consumption. I wanted to see if anybody else felt the same internal confusion or mental debate while watching?? Do you think it is wrong to give these people the attention they desired???

Michael and Robert worked together as a team, I believe. While Robert may have been the leader, they were both working towards the same evil goal:to kill as many people as possible as heinously as possible to be famous.

Not giving any reasons for these two killers, but what would have happened if the kids had access to the outside world. Like school and social interactions with other kids. Teachers might have seen signs of disfunction. I think kids that are for the parents good reasons kept from the outside interactions, get all their information from the internet. They live in a fantasy world. Again not giving a forgive pass, but maybe studies need to be done for kids that do not have human interaction. People are just things to them.

I live very close to where this crime took place… 15 min down the road from me… I will never forget this eerie case. This happened in my aunts neighborhood & I will never forget the eerie energy of seeing the home afterwards. It shook the city.
