Lacasse was certain of Charles Adelson’s complicity in the murder of Dan Markel, no detail escaped his notice in the meticulously planned crime. The case involved a targeted hit on Markel, a prominent law professor, amid a bitter divorce and custody battle with his ex-wife. The evidence pointed to a possible motive related to his ex-wife’s family, specifically her brother, Charlie Adelson, a dentist with ties to organized crime. Lacasse’s unwavering determination to uncover the truth would lead him down a twisted path of deceit and betrayal in pursuit of justice.

2:10 I saw the devil. Jeff is brilliant, cool. calm and in this murder…everything he says is right. That's probably why he's a PROFFESOR of socailwork

  • @gingersnap1552

Jeff seemed more fearful and confused than jilted. Wendi the game player definitely had his head messed up. Yet he was fearful of Charlie and wanted to speak off the record.

  • @clarissah8999

Looking back at several of your videos, as you were the first one to introduce us to the facts of this case, the truth of what this family did to Dan is very obvious to me.

  • @Shanti-qr3ky

I finally watched Jeff Lacasse police interviews and other interviews/testimonies. IMO and allegedly, I think there's a sick dynamic between Wendi and Charlie. From what I heard, it seems like Wendo and Charlie was in competition on who could/would have more s*xual partners. From the hot tub convo, with Charlie boasting/bragging/describing his s*x prowess with underage girls and other women and with Wendi cheating, IMO, there's an iffy/sick dynamic going on between Charlie and Wendi, because according to Jeff, they seemed "comfortable" discussing Charlie's s*xual prowess. Also Jeff mentioned he thought Wendi had a BF in Miami, as she would go to Miami every chance she got. According to Katie's lawyer, Charlie always interfered in Wendi's relationships with her BFs and then with Dan. It's like Charlie didn't want Wendi in any relationship. I wonder why Charlie never got married, with a mother like Donna, you would think that he would have been married with kids by now. Anyway, it's JMO and speculation.

  • @mesalady2007

I have no doubt that LaCasse told truth. But why Wendy would implicate her family when she and Jeff was on the bunk of breakup?

  • @LilFella67

My guess is WA is next on the prosecution’s radar. Hopefully, Danny’s boys will get the Adelson inheritance. Sweet Justice will be if they don’t pay to protect uncle CA in prison. (& WA, or DA if convicted) Payback!!!

  • @beeeb7747

When the verdict was read, Blibbers and Blibbaum sure cooled off from their days of endless back-and-forth smiles and smirks.

  • @tommynonstop

    You need a better mic

  • @krisbest6405

I call him Mr Class, he was sucked in by beauty and the be a good listener bullshit. Never encourage a friend to continue with BORING shite, kindly say lets leave this subject aside and talk of happier things!

  • @coldisle

I loved Lacasse..as a witness and as a human being. You just know he would be someone you would want as a close friend. It does however amaze me that his perception of Charlie was so completely spot on…and yet, he chose to ignore many of those same narcissistic traits that Wendi exhibits. This is not remotely a criticism, as I too have also gotten mixed up with…(and married one!) women that I KNEW were going to be “difficult.” I guess when we’re smitten, we wrongly think we can “fix” the bad parts. We can’t. Jeff was just an amazing guy, and judging from comments on other similar channels, everyone pretty much completely appreciated him.

  • @lawill3559

I need to start this case ALL THE WAY from the beginning.

  • @Catherine-ec9dn

Il n avait sûrement pas envie d' être le prochain sur la liste…

  • @1hourdryfloors786

Mentour Lawyer , you and your team should pull the jail calls of Charlie and the others. It’s a FOIA Request you can do. It costs $$. Other people do it for other criminals. I bet it would get a lot of interest from viewers. I’m sure that as much as the community is hooked on this crime and this criminal that we would all appreciate it and watch. Think about it

  • @anchovyfish9884

Georgia's face @11:20 😂😂😂. I love Jeff LaCasse, straight up smart and genuine on the stand. Eerily resembles Dan Markel as well. While Wendi seems to have a type, she may have some psychological urge to feel in control from her enmeshed family by trying to control these men who are much smarter than her.

  • @fanofthedog

When do we get to see Charlie's prison mugshot?

  • @fanofthedog

this is guy first time seeing this! Dang!! Really impressive LaCasse had such a great radar.

  • @lucyElaine5656

Thank you Jeff for your testimony! The jury got it right

  • @FredPena-rd5cf

How ironic that Wendi tried to coax Jeffrey into being either a patsy or participant and he ends up being a key witness in every trial. Looks like Wendi over estimated her feminine wiles…

  • @stoutie18

The beautiful karma of all this is that they tried to frame LaCasse all along and LaCasse is who sent sent Charlie to jail all along!

  • @Saltygirl29

Wendi told the cops this on 7/18, Jeff told cops this same thing days later. Yet Wendi DENIED telling Jeff about this comment at all. So how did he know about it?? Another blatant, under oath lie by Wendi.

  • @aidankelly840

    when will he give evidence
    against Wendi
    state has to convict her
    justice for the kids
    and family
    2024 prayers for justice
    Wendi make some 1
    fresh meat in prison
    looking forward 😅

  • @painedinks

New subscriber here! Came from a recommendation by youtube channel "dreading" from their newest video about Sarah Boones ex-husband, can't wait to watch some these deep dives!

  • @jonasnight

at the very end Lacasse says something about Charles's kid being cognitively disordered. Is that what I heard, or did he say something else.

  • @LadyDi0514

Saw you in the audience, ML, looking good!!!!

  • @LadyDi0514

Damn!!! I never saw this interview before!!! Interesting to hear a highly educated professor’s opinion of Charlie. JL did call it!!! Sign him up as an FBI profiler!!!!!

  • @TheLectureRoom

Wendi should have been charge with 1st degree murder first — she had the motive…
And then Charlie and Donna for aiding and abetting…
I will guess Wendi and Katie communicated thru an expedient channel as to the exact details of when and where Dan was….
It was a female prosecution that charged Charlie first for 1st degree murder, instead of Wendi—another female attorney…
The statement that Charlie made about him not wanting a 37year old—even if she was a Victoria secret model—didn’t sit well with, Georgia and Sarah, and it also didn’t sit well with, Wendi, Donna, and Katie—thats why he as made to be the fall guy..
Charlie got railroaded with a 1st degree murder charge…
    BTW—JL was insanely jealous of Charlie…academia sucker…

  • @Ashley__Rose

Really hope I never have to see Rashbaum in a trial ever again. He’s too theatrical to deal with.

  • @Ashley__Rose

Lacasse hit the nail on the head SO HARD I can hear it from here

  • @deborahbeaudoinzaki8019

Lady Bug 🐞 excellent video; thank you!
i feel Jeff Lacasse was used by Wendy, as a set up for taking the fall for the murder; thankfully he left for his trip a day early…. Very professional testimony!

  • @joeoshea8676

Never mind Lacasse , my grandmother who died in 1986 knew he was guilty

  • @twilit

he didn’t give testimony before he realized a frame up was possible/ he intentionally changed dates he left without telling wendi because he suspected what was going to happen

  • @sallyw7179

Lacasse nailed it. He might have had a not so great summary of Dan’s personality. But he heard non stop bad things about Dan from the Adelson Clan. Had he known Dan on different terms he might have had a clearer picture. But dang he nailed Charlie. I haven’t seen anyone paint a clearer picture of him. Lacasse is relatable, renting affordable apartment, staying in affordable hotel, driving an average car. I think he was shook by Charlie.

  • @clarissanickersonfourman

He solved the case from jump. He said it was Charlie, he said he has sketchy Cuban friends (I don’t think he was being racist) and then Wendi really went too far by lying on the stand not once not twice but three times saying that she was not upset about having to live in Tallahassee. Jeffrey Lacasse realized he would’ve driven by the crime scene. He is a top notch person. And for people saying he should’ve went to the police immediately that’s delusional. All he had was random tidbits Wendi told him he and the way they tried to say he was bitter and made it all up is exactly what would’ve happened had he went to the police. Would Dan still be alive? That is the only part that bothers me. Dan wasn’t an angel and he wasn’t nice but after all the facts came out Dan was clearly reacting to being gaslight by an entire family of rich sociopaths!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @CatalinaFOIA

2:54 💥 Jeff was right on. "If you got this guy in front of you he'd set your radar off" 💥 Nailed Charlie perfectly.

  • @donaldmeyer6939

Rashbaum is an aass. yelling, unprofessional, must give up his low license

  • @chrislancaster1982

I've seen people say that his testimony didn't have an impact on the jury's decision because he was a jilted lover. I completely disagree. This is 9 years after the murder. He and his testimony is 100% credible.

  • @wvcarolina

I wish they played this video at trial !!!! And parts of Wendi’s. It is almost all one needs to see

  • @claudiamontano519

    Great info and video………

  • @FredPena-rd5cf

So, since Wendi confided to him that Charlie reached out for a hit on Dan, Jeffrey will be giving testimony again at Wendi's trial. 🥴

  • @jlou2001

Jeff is the real deal and his evidence is going to carry even more weight in future prosecutions 😊

  • @bbennyj

Now that Charlie is convicted, it very well might be that much easier to get Donna and maybe even Wendy.

  • @bbennyj

I’m still amazed that it took this long to arrest and convict someone in the family for this crime.

  • @michaelcalland801

Jeff Lacasse read Charlie like a comic book !

  • @rozcole3650

Jeffrey lacasse is such a nice man, way to good for that wendi !!!!

  • @michaelcalland801

Didn’t Dan & Wendy’s friend also immediately point the finger at Charlie ? LE should’ve been all over him from day 1.

  • @crankedup67

He’s sitting there pissed Wendi couldn’t keep her mouth shut. Then she tried to play gangsta by trying to set Jeff up. Lock her up ASAP
