The victim was struck by another vehicle in a gruesome, bone-chilling sequence that led to his untimely demise.

Hamilton, perhaps hoping to blend back into a normal life, was apprehended on Thursday from the 4600 block of South Halsted. The cost of his violent forray weighed heavily — he was charged with first-degree murder, two other counts of murder, and aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm.

Let’s not forget Ingram, his earlier arrest doesn’t soften the blows. His charges were no less severe — aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm, burglary, and aggravated unlawful use of a loaded weapon without a FOID card, a clear violation of Illinois firearms laws that further compound his culpability.

Hamilton, having to face the music for his deeds, was assigned for a detention hearing come Saturday. The wheels of justice continue to grind, unyieldingly, meticulously, bearing proof that every action yields a fitting response.
