Everytime I see Stephanie talking about Rhys I just crumble. She is such a strong woman but it breaks my heart when shes sobbing, begging for justice for her boy. We still dont know the full truth. Donna Drummond won't get away with it.

I cant believe the video of them dragging his body šŸ˜¢ absolutely devastating ang disgusting. Im from the North East of England and Scotland is such a warm and welcoming place. The police in this case should be ashamed of themselves.

They have just saw alcohol and vallies in his system and put it down to another benzo death, so didn't really bother conducting a full PM?

There was a peaceful protest tonight to get donna Drummond out of her flat. The videos on tik tok of Stephanie crying at the front of the crowd is absolutely heartbreaking šŸ˜¢

I can't see an explanation where Donna wasn't involved, but why the police are covering it up, I can't fathom.

His clothes being strewn, suggests to me that he was dragged to wherever he was found. A smaller, weaker person maybe acting alone might have done this. I think he could have died accidentally, perhaps by overdose or by mixing stuff. The companion(s) panicked – these could be the woman and another young lad – and drag the body somewhere. Toss the shoe, hat, whatever it was that lodged in the tree. The police conduct (misconduct) could be partly due to the fact that they didn't take it seriously at first and then afterwards they didn't want to be bothered because they wrote him off as a drug user and therefore a waste of their time. This is wrong of them by the way. Drug users are people too. This lack of respect would also account for the mishandling of the body and effectively tampering with the crime scene. I am so sorry for his mother and family. I really hope there is justice for Rhys one day soon.

Heart breaking šŸ’”. Sending prayers to his family āŒļøā•ļø

  • @aprilrodriguez410

Why would anyone who was involved with his death bother throwing or hiding his clothes/shoes when it could have been kept on his body and put into the bog….what would be the point of separating him from his clothes?

  • @bob23301

The rat knows what happened, now she is hiding up in Castlemilk.

  • @jnebrm

So this is what crossed my mind immediately (probably from watching too many drug related documentaries): You talked about the woman having a history of having boys in the house and later mentioned the fake Valium pills businesses and I had a mental image of a case I saw before, where someone who used to lure young people to his house talked in disguise about giving them drugs for free, so that he/they could have easy test subjects in order to make modifications to their recipe and have it perfected.
Having a woman doing it, would most likely sound less suspicious to the boys.
I also think that considering the ridiculous information and poor excuses given by the police (not one could ever make sense of how they treated that boy's body) could also be due to them trying to make a bigger case to catch bigger fish.
Just pure speculation on my part…
Thank you for sharing Rhys case.

Wow – true crime so close / too close to home for me!

Just a point of clarification – Easterhouse is a social housing estate, known locally as a ā€˜schemeā€™, a bit like ā€˜the projectsā€™ in the USA, but within Glasgow City.

Unfortunately Glasgow is the murder capital of Europe. Generally – and I donā€™t know Rhysā€™s history – the teens I hear about dying in this type of circumstance tend to have similar issues. Iā€™d wonder if there was gang involvement, criminality, drug dealing, drug debt, in play. These issues are endemic in this area of the city. Iā€™m not being judgemental / this is just fact. In addition Rhys had street Valium in his system, so at best he must have been on the periphery of this scene.

I also feel itā€™s difficult as we arenā€™t getting the full story / i.e the Police canā€™t respond. I see information requests from family have been turned down by police on the exact location of where the body was found and the reason seemed to be they donā€™t want to compromise investigations / prejudice a complaint the family have made.

I suspect he died after taking some bad drugs and his associates left him in the park or he wondered off then he died. People make crazy decisions when under influence of alcohol and drugs. In fact, locally itā€™s called ā€˜getting mad with itā€™

Feel for his family, and as someone who has been affected by a similar issues. his younger siblings.

Had this boy been from a better part of town would his family have received better care from the Policeā€¦
