Before this “actual conflict” situation came to be known I was anticipating that there was going to be a major “pearl harbour” (to quote Dan, RIP) during the trial; if Charlie was called as a witnessed.
Even if Charlie’s had signed a waiver (in his🩸) he was going to caused a major upset at the trial. After listening to Charlie’s jail calls with Donna, I got the impression that the Adlersons’ thrived on revenge. In prison he was coordinating with his mother to seek revenge against his one time friend and business partner. Charlie accused the Jurors, who were complete strangers to him, of hating him. He used the “hate” word very loosely and that to me speak volumes.

The lack of proffer/cooperation prior to the transport never seemed like a good idea. It felt like the state was throwing spaghetti at the wall, hoping it stuck. Katie gave a proffer and agreed to cooperate before she testified at charlies trial (and she's also in the appeals phase).

This is exactly the calm cool not regurgitated explanation thought through and of course there is some speculation as no one can open up the brain and extract the information they need to get answers !
