Wow. What a waste of two lives. Making the rank of chief petty officer is not easy and would have had amazing benefits the rest of life, and now the poor kids have to deal with the psychological damage the rest of their lives.

FYI folks: Over the last couple of days, outgoing Oregon Governor Kate Brown commuted all 17 inmates on death row to life in prison and ordered the death row section of prison to be removed.
This is over the last couple of days, but for some reason it did not get reported all that much.
