"Joyce" unfortunately died in 2021. The BBC journalist who went to Africa to interview her stayed in touch with her "brother" Victor, who told him the news that she passed away.

If this is true, it's very frustrating as she was obviously a crucial witness & huge link to "Adam." Whatever information she knew, it's been taken to the grave unless police can find something.

Stephanie: "I look forward to hearing what you have to say about this case…in the comments."

What I have to say: I—😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨…

  • @Lucy-ym8ch

From what I know of UK social services I was kind of assuming you'd say they'd given them back. Glad that didn't happen.
With the Victoria Climbié case, which I'd love you to cover, she was posing as Anna Kouao, her killer's daughter. To this day nobody knows what happened to the real Anna Kouao.

  • @untamedblossoms

It reminds a bit of changelings. People thinking or being told things about children that in their minds justifies abuse and murder

  • @ryujigoda3445

    Bud, bud, ding ding😢

  • @Rainbowofthefallen

Just commenting for the algorithm 💙

  • @brianfarrand1919

Most all of the Elite class in the USA traffic kids, in my opinion. Please don’t come for me

  • @lorileo4319

So why are they sentence for such a sort period of time? I think these trafficker should get life or the death penalty!

  • @laurahuff5566

This is heartbreaking 💔 😢 RIP to all the children that have suffered from this type of abuse and murder 😭

  • @irenestrmnss4496

THE INTERVIEW WITH " JOYCE" SHE SAYS SHE WILL NOT KILL OTHERS CHILDREN CAUSE SHE IS A MOTHER HERSELF, BUT IN THAT SAME MINUTE SHE LOOKS TO THE SIDE AND DOWN.
THAT IS NOT A GOOD SIGN, LIERS OFTEN LOOK AWAY AND DOWN WHEN LYING. SO DONT BELIEVE HER.

  • @oshun222

Just wanted to say that in Nigerian sacrifice is not a common thing. People who do this type of thing is shunned within communities and villages. They do this in secret, because if they get caught the consequences would be gruesome.

  • @michhaynes7272

With the new film out sound of freedom! I am hoping they put more into helping to prevent this huge issue, but deep down I'm heartbroken to think they won't.

  • @michhaynes7272

I know this case and so many people failed her! They could have helped Victoria but missed the neon signs!

  • @michhaynes7272

Absolutely sick, and 4 years for trafficking, are you kidding me! They shouldn't get out, this is as bad as murder, rape, sexual abuse of children as well! What the hell!

  • @gabriellejohnson7324

Seems like the Police could use a Genetics Detective and Mitochondria testing.

  • @AprilJoy73

I realize that this is an older episode, but crimes against children are unforgivable. Mandatory life sentences with no parole. Worldwide.

  • @ryleighsweet2375

I think it's so interesting how the police choose to put an unimaginable amount of resources into solving some cases, but do the bare minimum for others.

Sometimes it's obvious why this happens. For instance, it's not a shock that Madeleine McCann, a young white girl from a wealthy and outspoken English family, got more attention than Rui Pedro, the Portuguese boy who went missing around the same time. But sometimes, there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to it. This case is the type that the police normally love to ignore: an unidentified black child with no family to put pressure on them to solve it. But instead of shrugging their shoulders, the police worked incredibly hard to find Adam's killer; honestly, harder than I think I've seen them work in 99% of Stephanie's videos. So… What's the difference? Very interesting to think about.

  • @stephaniehoneyford7191

We need the death sentence reinstated!

  • @deniseokanlawon9412

These people are nothing but child killers and it disgusting, some one needs to pay for Adams murder.

  • @ashleysayss

This is so sad. And reminds me of little miss nobody and all the other kids whose stories are never able to be truthfully told and justice is never found. So so awful 💔 It’s so crazy how any child could vanish, and no one noticed who cared enough to report it. It really seemed like the police and government did as much as they could with this one. So often you see them NOT doing things that they could have very easily done or the court system fails the victim(s) and it results in a horror and grief. Poor sweet Adam. I really pray we get answers at some point.

  • @MiaMia-rx9dw

This is exactly the reason why illegal immigration can't just run rampant! It creates so many ways the vulnerable can be abused & killed.

  • @DorotaAndPatrickS

    they are mentally sick people!!!!!!

  • @vegan_guac

This what happens when non-human animal torture and sacrifice is so normalised. There is only one logic step to go up to human animals. This is why it's so dangerous. Same for most serial killers; majority of them started simply by abusing animals…until it's no longer enough and you need to take the next step.
Also obviously lack of education plays a huge part in people believing these fairytales, but that's the same in any culture, sadly 🤦🏼‍♀️

  • @annachristinanotyet4678

I find it hard to hear about these human trafficking cases and then go to the Police Station (where even the higher ups might be involved in it)….like where do you truly if you suspect someone being part of such organized crime?

  • @heather_doestruecrime

We need larger sentences for anyone who participates in, has knowledge of, or helps perpetrate crimes against children. You do not have to directly hurt, assault, or kill a child to be responsible. These people don’t have souls, they shouldn’t be able to continue to live their life freely.

  • @boobooismine1

Sucks that we have to stick to legal methods of punishment.

  • @debbiecords4743

This was so hard to listen to. So much evil in this world. I pray for all of us. Thank you Stephanie for opening up my eyes even though it hurts.

  • @JuanSoto-ns3pc

They all deserve the death penalty.

  • @keryn-leighnetto1703

The belief is that if you have sex with a virgin you’ll be rid of HIV, so chances are the child is a virgin. It’s a pretty common belief in South Africa especially and one of the reasons why the rates of rape are so high.

  • @Hopeandpeaceinjesus

This lady lived near my grams….

  • @shaylamay2569

    He is so precious ❤️

  • @normac9931

This was a very interesting case! And heartbreaking as well.

I totally remember the Mark Kilroy case! Especially because I was in high school and had begun thinking of planning trips with friends on spring break….. got scared and never went over the border tho!
I was shocked at the time about the infection on this case — it horrified me to think of all the ppl in those Graves on that ranch. It's a miracle any of them were located!
    Stuff of nightmares for sure

***I'm looking for your video Covering Mark kilroy but I'm not finding it . 🙁

Does anyone know where I can find it please:)

  • @hanayaoliveira1988

Human trafficking is very expensive, so Who you think have this kind of money??

  • @l.w.paradis2108

Look up Rotherham. A generation of girls . . . Gang-raped and trafficked. When the first girl was seized, the youngest to be tortured had not yet been born. NYTimes reported it properly.

  • @claire4871

I’m am from London and remember both of these cases being on the news at the time. I still find it heartbreaking that little Adam doesn’t have a name or really any sort of identity. Surely he has a family missing him somewhere? And I will never forget Victorias smiling face, it was all over the news and when I heard what those monsters did to her 😔 I just can’t… side note, I used to live in Tottenham and the way you said it was so sweet

  • @chaniquasmith6258

What kind of monster would do this to a child. RIP Adam

  • @100gds2

Child sacrifice has been prevalent in the US for decades. It's a witchcraft practice that people fight tooth and nail to uphold but we know it as abortion. Those who support it are just as evil as the people in this video. Whether they know it or not really doesn't matter.

  • @mumtazsheikh690

It's so refreshing to see police making such a concerted effort into solving this case

  • @socaldeb

STEPHANIE: In follow up to this video (the subject matter) take a look at a YouTube video called "Inside a Nigerian Death Camp" by YouTube channel "Mr Ballen". He shares a story that will send chills up your spine (which also somewhat correlates to what likely happens to the live victims in South Africa). If you are intrigued by Mr. Ballen (his channel is addictive) begin with his playlist called something like "places you cannot go but people went there anyway" You'll be hooked on his stuff, and his other stuff might inspire some content ideas.

  • @melmacphee5558

Hi Stephanie. I just found your channel like, a week ago, and I am hooked! We had a snow storm up here in Canada this last week (crap part of living in Canada), so , I binged your stuff- and as a lover of true crime- I'm impressed, I am loving the way you respectfully, yet, truthfully/honestly deal with incredibly difficult and sensitive situations. Your work on the story of Adam, the little torso found in the Thames is thorough, and real- exactly what true crime junkies like me are looking for. You do dive deep, and I so appreciate that. It's not easy to watch, but, I can hear it from you, cause I know you genuinely care, and you too, are addicted! Thanks so much. Look forward to all your content in the future. I'm just making my way through!

  • @partiprocanada

Ironically, the sacrifice of little Adam did thr exact opposite of what it was intended for. Makes me think he didn't die in vain. Rest in Peace little one
