I think that the hospital has a HUGE responsibility in the matter. They knew she was pregnant. She told them she didn’t know (whether she knew or not doesn’t matter) The hospital KNEW what she said, BELIEVED she didn’t know, and they let her wander off ALONE to the bathroom, and come back covered in blood and no one checked the bathroom?
AND, the head nurse was so mortified that she herself admitted that she did nothing to try to resuscitate that baby nothing. She alone, her self decided the baby couldn’t be resuscitated for that reason alone she should not be charged with murder. She had absolutely zero support from the hospital staff from beginning to end.

A mother knows when her daughter is pregnant. Case in point: the day before my mom passed away on July 3rd of 1997, she told my younger sister that she was pregnant. My sister hadn’t even gone to a doctor to see if she was pregnant. She had gone a week after our mom’s wake, and she was pregnant.
That so called mother knew, so did the daughter. There’s NO possibility that she didn’t know. Missed periods, breasts growing, fatigue, morning sickness, hormones going all over the place, and what have you.
I am DISGUSTED by this case, and the cases like this one; also, cases in which the so called parents murder their children. I propose that they get the death penalty! They do NOT deserve mercy, sympathy or empathy!! This is just my personal opinion!

It's wasn't just that but the young girls attorney said that they did do a blood draw but said nothing about her being pregnant.
When she said she was a Virgin doctors gave her so many drugs to deal with the pain such as morphine, etc.
This also caused a still born birth due to all the drugs they gave her.
Yes the young girl did know she was pregnant but never told her mother. When both her and her mother went to the hospital they did a blood draw and the doctors did not confirm she was pregnant.
So her sueing the hospital is reasonable for them giving her drugs that killed the baby. But she should be punished too because she suffocated her own baby and left the body in the trash bag. Not just that, but she also lied. So really I think both doctors and the young girl are in trouble. Not just the young girl herself. ( disclaimer: this is my opinion. No need to fight it. Just respectfully disagree if you do and state why. I don't need a fight in the comments.)
