She is not a child she was 18 years old, what girl today that have relations with the boyfriend doesn’t knows what a pregnancy is, also how did the mother didn’t notice her pregnancy because in the cheerleading video is obvious that she is pregnant, the mother and the daughter need prison time.

The family filing a lawsuit against the hospital and the police department is RIDICULOUS! They have absolutely NO SYMPATHY for that baby. THEY AS A FAMILY (besides the step father who showed the most emotion) need to take accountability! Alexee’s defense attorney is also DELUSIONAL for his comments.

I had my first child at 16. Was I terrified to tell my mom…..sure was!! But to just ignore the issue and continue on with life as normal is truly disturbing behavior! Then the baby is found dead…..in a hospital….she is a cold blooded murderer!!

The mom soooo knew she was pregnant her reactions was def fake u can tell when watching it n u can't c ur daughters pregnant bellie that is def showing! And the BF knew he asked if anything else hurt like they discussed it bf no one cried but her n only after she was caught red flag in my book

It gets me that the Mom didnt question the homicide charge, but freaked out about the tampering with evidence?? Mom sounds like a control freak, not just with her daughter but in general…. and how her lawyer wants to say she's such a good girl and doesn't deserve to go to jail… I'm sorry but at some point she had to know what she was doing was wrong..

As the hospital being at fault oh hell no, they didn't make that girl alexi a monster, they did little wrong and even though they gave her morphine they didn't throw the baby in the trash and the baby was alive

That woman alexi's mother makes me wanna puke the way she has the nerve to sit there and brag about her child after hearing her daughter threw her baby in the trash, then she says im gonna keep her home and therapy, wtf is wrong with that woman its no wonder her daughter did something so monstrous, her mother doesn't seem much better for crying out loud that was her grand child, im horrified by all these cases but i cant wrap my head around the mother, she tries to take complete control of everything and her daughter is an adult im a mother of 4 and i love my children no matter what but i couldn't stand there and say the shit that mother says and i certainly couldn't act like her i would be crying my eyes out and i would be devastated, most importantly i would wonder how my child that came from me that i raised could do something so monstrous, as long as i live i will never understand these people that could hurt someone. I have no desire to hurt anyone and then on top of everything i definitely could never hurt a child and i dont understand how alexi could even live with herself or go to a dance i think it was prom sry if wrong but my point is that i couldn't just go on like i did nothing wrong and that mother should be sitting her ass in jail right alongside her monster daughter, her mother is a monster too, obviously, shes a horrible person and in my opinion the reason her daughter did that was because she was that afraid of her mother, i pray that they both realize what theyve done and try to change and realize that they r both monsters, f them both!!!!

Morphine was given to her before the hospital staff knew she was pregnant… She went to the ER complaining about pain in her hips and back so therefore they probably gave her morphine before she gave birth.

Ok…i was pregnant in high school i thunk at the beginning of 10th grade i was scared ti tell my mim but i dud anyways…then i ended uo pregnant again at the end of 12th grade i still graduated but was so scared ti say something i didnt kniw what to do my water brike early so i had ti tell my mom she was more mad i waited till my water broke and told me if anything happens to that baby im make sure you go to jail..even though i never thought to throw the baby away and if anything i was like im just going to put it up for adoption ..my grandma said we will take it so did my neighbors brother my mim found out and calked and said if you give that baby up you cant come home…thats the way a real mom should be…

Her mom is clearly so overbearing, even though her daughter is 18 and technically can do whatever she wants, have sex, vote. It seems her daughter is more worried her mother would not become angry and was actually hiding it from her. And her best defense may be just that. What her mother is doing will only make things worse.

She must not have been taking birth control or just not taking it correctly. I think the mother was in denial that her daughter may be pregnant, and I bet my bottom dollar she was telling her daughter she needed to lose weight. I think Lexi knew she was pregnant but just trying to pretend she wasn't. She was completely detached from the infant along with the rest of the family. This is very sad because the baby deserved to live and be adopted to a good family. Did the hospital staff know she was pregnant before she ran into the bathroom? I might have missed that part.

this is where the law in the US is a bit messed up. Mothers have a legal right to consume substances that will cause damage to their baby in most states, even if they don't want an abortion. So if it died because she was drinking or using drugs (legal or not) that is sometimes perfectly legal if the mother does it and murder if anyone else does it.

Calling out the hospital for HIPPA violations is a desperate attempt to shift blame. There were WAY TOO MANY people involved to be certain that anything came from hospital staff. All it takes is ONE SINGLE COMMENT from Alexi or from her boyfriend to ANY of their friends, and the gossip tree is planted!!

These people are horrible she knew she was pregnant the mom suspected she was pregnant she knew she was giving birth and had to find a way to do it away from her mom which is why she went to the bathroom and didn’t t scream she went above and beyond to make it so they didn’t think there was a baby hid the baby and ensured it couldn’t survive by wrapping it in the bag. The girl is not a victim as she is 19 and there’s is something very wrong with not only her but all of them. She murdered the innocent baby and then went to prom like nothing happened she has not taken responsibility. This girl should be charged with murder and is a danger
