I worked for the Red Cross for several years. They sell ALL of the blood that is collected. To hospitals here, over seas and to the government. You should check out how much the upper management of the Red Cross are paid!

There is a documentary on Netflix or YouTube that shows how none of the blood that you donate goes to local recipients or hospitals. It is all sold off for research purposes, identification purposes, and so forth. Yes, giving blood freely is a very profitable business. The same as with organ donation. If you were an organ donor, the doctors are more likely to say to the family that you have a 2% chance of living when you actually have a 25% chance of living because they want your organs so badly because of how much money they make off of them. It’s a sad, sad epidemic. So don’t give blood and don’t be an organ donor and don’t feel bad about it!

I can't believe I'm almost 50 mins into this video and have only just registered that Tom & Jerry were both involved in getting rid of poor Anne-Marie. When i heard it I laughed – what were their parents thinking calling their sons Tom & Jerry?! It doesn't seem so funny now after I had to put the situation into words. Poor Anne-Marie 😢

The fact that I just sat for almost 4 hours not once feeling spacey or my thoughts becoming disheveled and all the while remaining engaged just goes to show how great of a story teller Steph really is 💙 I can’t think of a more detailed passionate speaker on this channel ! You can know and even hear the exact story she is shedding light on, but hearing it from Steph is just an experience in itself 🔥 listening to her is legit therapeutic 🥰

Stephanie finds all the minor facts. Hurley quit after going to a funeral at my childhood catholic school, I was a student there at the time. Even in the 90s I knew most of the details of the case at the time because of course as a Delawarean my family had ties to the Faheys and Capanos.

The blood thing is bothersome simply because we are not informed that its a possibility. Most donors would sign off on it without question but the fact that they lie by omission bothers me…maybe they hide it in the fine print..idk

33:51 Mentrual blood is different from regular blood in the way that it is less concentrated and also contains tiny pieces of endomentrium (the lining of the iterus). So a forensic analysis would've able to tell that Capano was lying.

My father in-law served in the Army during WW2 and he told us that soldiers had to pay for their blood. He really disliked The American Red Cross.

I'm from Delaware. To be honest, it doesn't surprise me that media printed full names, jobs, and info of involved parties. Here, everyone knows each other. There would be no point in hiding the names of an attorney and school director, because everyone would find out anyway 😂
