This is a perfect way to do an interview of a juror.🌴TT

  • @Donnas_BananaBread

Per Bri Charlies being extorted in prison…what are the coincidences of that 🤔

  • @brooklynrules6117

THANK U for doing these! Thx for being ahead of the curve and doing something different and new

  • @myrtlemcgaughey

Charlie wanted to be donnas favourite son end of

  • @bobbybouchee7719

“Gotten out of the habit of listening to NPR”… that’s one positive outcome 😹

  • @TheSkeetergirl

I thoroughly enjoyed this, ML. Thank you. 😊

  • @patrinajasso5689

Why didn't u ask the jour if they believed Charlie's stupid excuse he came up with about being extorted?. Didn't the jury find that to be dumb?. Why would they pin point him and extort charlie at the same time Dan was killed?. Talk about deflecting. Was this a murder case or a case on extorsione?.

  • @patrinajasso5689

Why would katie not take the plea deals?. Makes no sense. Her baby daddy would want her to take it because he was the man who shot Dan so he knows he's going to prison. He would want Katie to get out of jail for her to do and say what she needs to. This is why poi she he's home to the kids. Theirs more to the story because why would she give up her life to not be out?. Makes no sense she has to know way more and who knows maybe more will come out later if wendi hopefully gets arrested

  • @mystique4eva990

This really keeps my hope in the jury system. This is the kind of person I think we all want to be sitting on the jury.
Great work in getting this interview, and really good questions.
I had the same worries when they were in deliberations, that the question of why Kattie didn't accept the plea deal and also her charges vs the wealthy who put out the hit being free for all these years. It did really worry me, but I too was very impressed with Georgia's rebuttal response.
I would love to hear from a jury member from Charlie's trial. I also can't wait for Donna's trial.
Again, great work ML and Ladybug.

  • @sanbets2780

Well that juror's comment is wrong and stupid as Charlie Adelson is in prison and Donna has been arrested as well.

  • @secondrule

Well, the courts only have ONE bite at the apple, so they have to make sure they can win the case before they take it to trial…. the reason others (but they have Charles, and now the mother is going to stand trial), but blame KATE for not telling the truth from the beginning – She protected the others this long.

  • @user-mj6bb3pf1p

I'm impressed with this jurys response

  • @starryeye3482

    Wow very insightful! Thank you!

  • @dierdresantos8897

thank you! This is so well done! Love the text and narration combo.

  • @Xanzia1972

i feel bad for Mags, she is lost in a world of her own. You'll notice that she is completely immoral because her decision-making is terrible. Put another way, a person's ability to make "good quality" decisions is capped by their moral level.

  • @TruthHurtsSoGetAHelmet

Obviously this juror is Black with that straight to race comment. It’s always about race with them and that is so played out.
Pretty sure the White dude is spending his life in prison as well sooo… outta touch much. This has nothing to do with color and everything to do with don’t wanna do the time then don’t do the crime. Don’t be blaming Whites for the personal decisions made by others.

  • @user-zk4sj6jb5m

I was picked for jury duty. And they were just asking us questions about would you believe a cop 👮‍♀️ over a child. And then we had a break and the judge told us not to talk about anything during the break. But once we were out in the hall way. Some of the jurors were saying the guy’s guilty and the trail didn’t even begin. I was shocked that people thought the guy was guilty and we didn’t even know what the charges where. 😱 and then we were asked by the judge if we would believe a cop or a child. And I said child over a cop. Because cops lie for a living. And then after that answer I was dismissed 😱

19:38 to 20:00 It’s as intriguing that Katie chose not to go free as are Cappleman’s arguments to explain possibilities. It seems most likely she was paid off or threatened. Katie knew she and Sigfredo were cooked. The last chance she had was to seek financial security for her children. If there was a payment, who knows if that can ever be proven, but what else explains her refusal to tell the truth other than a threat? She seemed terrified during testimony.

If there was a cash deal,
several people had to be involved. Maybe she was told that as long as she didn’t squeal on Wendi, at least, her kids would be taken care of. Or maybe she was threatened because the Adelsons had connections, though it didn’t stop her from squealing on Charlie. If she was paid off or threatened, she’ll eventually talk.

While it’s doubtful Katie’s children are receiving $4,800 a month like Wendi’s boys, they are eligible for benefits since both parents are incarcerated for life. What a sad mess.

  • @leslieballenger3690

    Great informative content!

  • @violatrujillo

Katie was offered a plea deal not once but twice and she refused both. Has nothing to do with skin color.

  • @muttlesslove1647

THANK YOU ML for sharing the perspective of this juror with us.

  • @stevefromsaskatoon830

Oh nice , something to look forward to tonight….. I should have been lawyer instead of a truck driver

  • @jenstale

Thank you for including the date of this in😢to give us context. Wouldn’t you love to interview these people after all the trials – just to see if they can Monday morning quarterback

  • @PhpGtr

Text to AI is crazy. Let's all stop doing it please?

  • @205ken4

Asians are people of color when it fits the narrative 😅

  • @leslievasquez2645

You asked the right questions! Thank you

  • @susanzarrella

Thanks! ML you bring such a variety of cases and valuable insights!!!! Been following your channel for a long time!

  • @aalegalfocus

    Thank you, ML and Ladybug.

  • @kathygrosvenor4464

Thank you! What a fascinating interview. You asked all the right questions that I had myself (Well… a few…I’m not a seasoned attorney lol). Brilliantly done. I would enjoy knowing that juror. She was someone I would like to have on my jury if I were a murderous person. Thanks again! You’re terrific!

  • @tommybrown9534

This is very captivating. Im always wondering how the individual jurors view the case and the different elements and witnesses that may have convinced them of either guilt or innocence. Above all, im curious if the jurors see the case the way i did and ultimately arrived at the same decision. And if so, what was that aha moment for them. Fascinating to hear. Well done. Great upload. Would LOVE to hear from jurors in Charlie Adelson's trial and hear what they thought of his ridiculously unbelievable defense. 😊✌️

  • @user-qj7bi1vz7y

Wendi has only one remaining defense…my family did this crime without my knowledge…. Georgia has her boxed into a corner….

  • @ptank4996

They really have the wrong people in jail. Yes, they did the crime. But, the true convicts are the Adelson’s the main suspects from Harvey, Donna, Charlie, and Wendi the manipulator. Justice for the Markel Family.

  • @davidbamford1971

Is the title caption about colour and race true here? Charlie adelson ( A white person is doing life, his Mother is going on trial and can expect the same. There is also a possibility that his sister and father will face trial all white)
So as regards what the juror said it's rubbish.

  • @MrsK976

A grain of salt?! Yet they believe Adelson’s did make hitman attempts and jokes? That makes Jeffrey Lacasse very truthful. I don’t understand how he could say he was taken with a grain of salt yet then believed the commentary on the hitman jokes……

Lacasse is the lynchpin to take Wendi down

Edited to add- what did he mean people of color were charged? That had nothing to do with anything and no one is “of color.” It was about MONEY. The people behind it had money and connections to the DA’s office and judges for years, that’s why they weren’t charged. It was not because of their color.

  • @MBucky

This is sooo scripted! Why not just have a dialogue?

  • @MrsK976

@mentourlawyer you are the best coverage on this case. You are the reason I know of this case from way back. I started following you when you started speaking on this case. @courttv should have you on again when #donnaadelson goes to trial.
