I, like you can’t believe that woman are still being killed for their “body”. I think that if we used the newest technology to identify people through 23 and Me or other sites that are open to working together with officials to solve cases will help in the long run to slow the time between the time of death and capture of person who did the deed.
I would hope in the long term that it would help to lower to amount of killing of women. I’m not sure what in this current world what would need to occur to keep womens body’s safe. I grew up in the 50’s and life was much easier.
I truly enjoy your channel and the way you give so much background information. In my opinion you are the best. Have a wonderful Christmas!

    Omg you never seen ghost?
I grew up watching it 😂

I think it's Jennifer Grey not Jennifer Lawrence.

  • @CherylMcLe

My cousin was kidnapped & killed she (we) was 12 in Montreal Tammy Leaky. They still haven’t caught her killer. I agree with you, if u do the crime do the time. Not knowing who did it; no one being held accountable is very trying. Especially, on her mother & baby sister. I’m 56 now & it still hurts my heart. Thank God for Familial DNA! I pray, they find Tammy’s killer & he is held accountable. I love your episodes. I can tell you really care. Thank you.

  • @YaGirl_Nickie

Thank Goodness for Science! So glad justice was served. Thank you for all you do, no one tells a story or reports facts the way you do. 🥰

I think it's important that you, as a true crime researcher, provide a disclosure statement when talking about something like the McMartin daycare scandal prior to making statements about it. I believe you should have said something at the beginning of the video like "I will be referencing a scandal about a daycare center, to some extent, throughout this video. It's important to note that daycare workers were acquitted of the charges brought against them because there was not any substantial evidence proving any of the alleged crimes took place."

41:43 I also think at this point you should have reminded your viewers that the McMartins were not found guilty of any of the crimes they were accused of.

42:22 The info you provided here about the initial accuser isn't entirely accurate. The accuser claimed BOTH her husband and Ray had abused her son. This is important because without this information (and without the disclosure statements), viewers may be led to believe there WAS something going on at the daycare instead of the possibility that her husband was likely the only one who committed such abuse. While you did say the accuser made other outrageous claims against the center, you failed to mention the woman was mentally ill, which was important for the same reasons.

43:10 You stated that you really didn't know what to believe and that nothing surprises you etc. That implies that you didn't know if the allegations were true or not. While you did mention, later, that charges were dismissed (only against 5 of the 7 people BTW), you failed to mention that Ray and Peggy were acquitted. Again, there was zero substantial evidence to prove any of the abuse occurred. Your statement leads viewers to question whether or not the daycare was responsible for committing such crimes when in actuality, they weren't.

I'm mentioning these things, BTW, not because I'm upset about the way you covered Karen's case. The McMartins were put, unnecessarily, through the worst nightmare of their lives, and even though this video isn't about that case, per se, the fact that you brought it up meant you had the responsibility to include facts like they were acquitted; children were being coereced into saying things happened when they didn't; etc. Omitting such things supports the initial bias against the McMartins, IMO.

I hope her friends didn’t hold it against them for not going in sooner. Who knows what he would have done to them! And yes on DNA testing!!

  • @jenniferhann134

I hate it every time I hear that a woman was raped. My mom was raped by a man that took her on a date. He knew I was not gonna be home and took advantage of that. He was a fire fighter, he lived in his patents basement and at trial they lied for him and said he came home at 11pm, so it couldn't have happened. The trial about destroyed my Mom. She went to counseling for months and I had to sleep with her for almost a year. The man got 18months suspended sentence and probation. It kills me that he got away with it. Probably did it again. I watch you everyday and love your passion.

  • @donnamuller6460

You didn’t mention PA; so that means my state doesn’t use familial DNA? I want to be sure I heard right. Also, you were on fire this episode! ❤

  • @martalefave3231

The Satanic Cult absolutely still exists. It is made up of Hollywood Elites, politicians, heads of Royals, FBI, CIA, MI6, and yes, they sacrifice children to satan still today. It is real.

  • @jessicawilson1549

Of course it should be legal and mandatory in every state and worldwide to perform whatever tests necessary to make sure justice is served.

  • @o.c.bobbie5538

You do an amazing job speaking on the behalf of those who can’t speak. Thank You. I will be praying 🙏 you feel better soon.

  • @Kaye_Gee

Anyone who thinks familial dna is an invasion of privacy need to put themselves in the shoes of someone like Karen and remember that the victims were robbed of their privacy and their whole life, set your own self aside for a second and think of the greater good! Familial dna has been crucial to cold cases!!
