Revisiting the case of poor Abby Choi, may she rest in peace šŸ•Šļø But I needed to hear this case again through Stephanie! So good I had to watch it twice lol. We love you Stephanie!

  • @patriciaelbadry6789

We need that kind of tough on crime policies here in the USA.

  • @mannyp6582

Iā€™m so impressed by how you talk about irrelevant facts and put them all together and make them relevant to understand why people need to hear them and bring them up into conversation about the case of Abbey Choi, your so impeccable and precise with details itā€™s very inspiring ā¤ā¤ā¤ I been following this case and I can wait for you to bring more information about this case. She deserve justice and her children, family and friends all those people who truly love her unconditionally.

12:16 so I guess we know what side of the political spectrum Stephanieā€™s on lmao. America LITERALLY ALSO rewrites history. Weā€™re so capitalist pilled here itā€™s crazy

Edit: also I think one of the reasons thereā€™s a lot less violent crime in Hong Kong is bc they have very strict gun control laws (I could be wrong tho so feel free to correct me)

  • @anuschaganes3155

Can we get a episode on the jar murd3r3r? Itā€™s so sad and disgusting how he is a ā€žrolemodelā€œ for this case!

  • @maureenhawes1598

Hello fresh is on the New Yearā€™s Eve table tonight

  • @teresalam190

You are always so amazing, Stephanie. Your research is so meticulous! You should be a Professor.

  • @lanacarpenter8715

The first 20 minutes was watching you make a cuppa coffee in your Keurig and then you talked about how to Hong Kong and Japan for 20 minutes

  • @hawj1212

This episode was a little disappointing. Not enough info about abby Choi and too many side comments and dismemberment stories making their names hard to keep trackā€¦ parking spots. Apartments, etc

I understand setting up the full picture but when itā€™s all misc info and not enough on abby or the core story, it felt very glossed over to me

  • @jacquelineking3373

What is going on with the case?

  • @SvenDzahov

Small note, china is not ā€œcommunistā€. I wouldnā€™t usually make the distinction except the video claims china is a communist country thus itā€™s economy struggles or something.
But China hasnā€™t been communist since the 1960s, they are a capitalist nation, I believe they now have the most billionaires out of any nation on the planet, and all corporations are privately owned, not worker ran.

Not a super big deal itā€™s just commonly held misunderstanding of the politics of China and borderline CIA talking point propaganda lol. Also I donā€™t recommend citing ā€œthe heritage foundationā€. They are an extremist policy think tank and often drop blatantly propagandistic research. It seems you may have used them extensively in research based on the language of the politics of Hong Kong and China (note, I am not a fan of the Chinese government either) and it comes off as pretty weird propaganda

  • @MKConnecticut

The info in this podcast was SO DISTURBING! So sad about Abby- but who knew,,,ā€¦.

  • @certifiedalienist492

ā€œLike the little bitch he isā€¦ā€ šŸ˜‚ Stephanie is my favorite person right now!! šŸ’Æ

  • @lee_1292

communism is the chinese governmentā€™s end goal, but as china is now, they could not be a called a communist country. not remotely.

  • @debbiebecklehimer495

I really enjoyed this pot cast, frustrated at times but found it very interesting.
Could you maybe do. A pod cast on Sister Cathy Cesnik ?? Watched part of the series on Netflix, , seemed to be very involved. Love watching and listening to your pod castā€™s !!! ā™„ļø

  • @Abiiiss_s

Iā€™m sorry not the hello fresh adšŸ˜šŸ˜

  • @sweetpopism

Rewatching this now and after watching a Chinese youtuber for deepr context, Stephanie got so much right. Thank you for always being so diligent for the victims and us. Amazing!

  • @irenestrmnss4496

CHINESE ALSO EATS DOGS AND MONKEYS šŸ˜±šŸ˜„šŸ¤”šŸ˜šŸ„µšŸ„¶

  • @irenestrmnss4496

HER PARENTS ARE VERY VERY RICH TOO. STINKING RICH.
HEARD HER STORY ON ANOTHER YT CHANNEL . ANOTHER YOUNGER , FEMALE STORYTELLER. SHE COVERES ALOT OF ASIAN CASES.
VIOLANCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS IN CHINESE AND EAST ASIAN CULTURE IS GRUSOME AND WICKED. SINCE LONG TIME AGO.
THEIR ATTITUDE TOWARDS GIRLS AND WOMEN ROOTED IN THE CULTURE WAY BACK.
    AS OTHER PLACES AND COUNTRIES/CULTURES.

  • @angieng8633

I read from another youtuber's account that if Abby Choi died as a single woman, her assets would be divided between her 4 children.

So Alex Kwong could have custody of 2 of his children AND control their assets. The eldest is 10 I think.

Money & custody of the children

  • @SheaLeona

In situations like this I still donā€™t get how murder seems like the solution.

What??!! Sheā€™s not supporting us anymore!!!?!??!! Kill her!!

ā€¦well then she definitely canā€™t support your useless ass.

  • @ourlifeinatube3470

Sounds like Junko Furuta story. So sad but that was in Japan.

  • @kellysowhat88

As part of their religion, dismemberment after death means the soul will wander forever. I saw Abbyā€™s family outside the house where she was killed and her mother was screaming for her childā€™s body so she could rest and calling her a stupid girl for letting her kindness get her killed. It was absolutely heartbreaking. Rotten Mango covered this case as well.

  • @lindc1070

    šŸ¤¢šŸ¤Æunbelievable

  • @Ghostface370

this is terrifying and sad poor abby

  • @goodgirlryeo7639

This is why I donā€™t believe in karma at all because if we were to go by that logic all these innocent women like Abby who were brutally murdered means that they are getting their karma and also I donā€™t believe in the existence of God because if God truly existed why is there so much suffering in this world and people like Abby being murdered in such an inhumane way by those she supported. Humans sucks! Rest is peace Abby

  • @goodgirlryeo7639

In life you have to be selfish sometimes the people you help with the most will be the ones plotting for your downfall. People are just ungrateful and selfish. Rest in Peace Abby.

  • @tamaramixon6014

Why would she buy her parents in-laws a home and then sell it out from under them so quickly what is up with that

  • @CIARARENEAHANNEL

    I love you Stephanie ā¤

  • @CIARARENEAHANNEL

rest in peace Abby Choi šŸ˜”šŸ„ŗ

  • @raigenhuss7030

I hate that the hello fresh intro was about making chiliā€¦.

  • @abigailtrumbo178

I wonder if the type of violence seen in Hong Kong has to do with the history of gang activity there? Canton was a hub of crime for at least a century, and Iā€™m sure there are traditions that go with that. (Thatā€™s probably also why the police are such a force there now.)

  • @SatanS-sx7qu

I love how ur prescription bottle was there then poofed lol!

  • @Retroglamamour

10:58 love this mini history lesson about Hong Kong šŸ‡šŸ‡°šŸ™šŸ» I didnā€™t know PRC granted Hong Kong 50 years of being a special territory with freedom of speech and all. I know youā€™re a history lover so Iā€™m happy when you share pieces of history like that šŸ™‚

  • @Dale0888Jr

So much respect for her current partner for stepping up and making sure that all of Abbys kids are going to be taking care of and safe
