“Practical skills… like how to balance a checkbook.” 🤣

C’mon. That hasn’t been a practical skill in about 25 years.

    1. No one under the age of 60 is using checks more than once a year (if even)
    2. We have online banking

As far as practical life skills go, balancing a checkbook is not one of them. It’s like saying “Washing your clothes using a washing board is totally a practical skill people should be learning!”

Just commenting for the algorithm 💜💙

  • @karentucker2161

So sad what happened to her❤

  • @snotcock05

Dogs have microchips. Paranoid people don't seem to be a fan of those. Even if the dog wasn't chipped they could easily convince themselves the vet is on it, or the person they got the dog from is after them too. The dog being in the truck strengthens the shared paranoia theory for me.

  • @mandadenzer4648

My gut tells me that the other woman killed her 😢

  • @mariapotts8751

Omg I lived in the next building when that happened ! I’ve always wondered what happened

  • @mangojuice8038

I just got true seeing this case, and I can't believe the similarities with another case in tamarac Florida. Twenty three years old Kayla hodgson was stabbed near to one hundred times all over her body, including her face. The case has already been solved, the killer was a pregnant girlfriend of her boyfriend. When she was finished killing her , she took a shower in her apartment and dressed in her clothes. She was seen on Camara leaving, that's how she was caught.

  • @mistyallen6662

I found out my high school now has a true crime class and they didnt have that when I was in school I so wish they would have.

  • @JamesBaum-ez6uu

S0 sad Stephanie. I pray to the lord for the family and that poor little boy.😢

  • @MsDayPlanner

What a really good video Stephanie. I love your sincere empathy and how you humanize the victims. Thank you. I'd love to know more about that high school forensics class.

  • @CS-uc2oh

It's clear who did it. And the theory that some side chick or ex killed her is ridiculous if you also belive she knew and was comfortable with who she let in the house that night. No woman would let some side chick into her home like that… Her man committed this crime.

  • @Di2tyMug3n

My high school biology forensics class actually did a cold case and we had to solve it to pass and it was a great experience

  • @BoiledPrawn

    I live 20 minutes from Harrisburg 😞

  • @zknight4481

So who decided the son couldn’t be questioned? If it’s the father who made the ultimate decision, I find that incredibly suspicious. It’s odd not to let the police ask the child anyway. It’s not like interviews with kids that young are in a room with two way glass and a table. It’s a playroom with toys and is set up like a child psychology visit. A child psychology visit is exactly what that baby needed. There’s no reason that would’ve traumatized him any more than what he already was. It’s really frustrating because he very well could’ve told them what he saw. My daughters could both speak well enough at freshly 2 years old to say sentences, let alone answer some basic questions like “who was there with you and mommy” or “who hurt mommy” or “what did they look like”.

  • @gifi11

This story wayyyy more important than what I'm about to bring up but she went to EAST HIGH. You showed a picture of CD HIGH. That is like bloods n crips that's a no no lol. But seriously we need justice for Alicia. She was literally like a movie character in a great way. Smart, popular, students loved her, teachers loved her. She was popular without an ounce of meanness to her. Smile could light up a room and bring joy to it as soon as she entered.

  • @sandygrogg1203

Hot chocolate is definitely a caffeinated drink…❤

  • @Gigibaby88

Um, has this other baby mama been questioned/made to take a lie detector test/etc? Cause I'm definitely thinking that it's her. I mean who else could it possibly be? Poor Jeremiah, reminded me of what happened to Dexter (who I realize is not a real person but still).

  • @nicoleweiler1105

I dunno man…I have weird vibes about the fiance. He remarried right awa6 and moved Jeremiah away from all of his mothers family? Sketchy at best. Also could have been Eugene's other baby mama.

  • @ilb735

What a great Teacher. We could definetly do with a lot more like him !

  • @truecrimejunkie7098

Oh Wow! I lift my hat to that teacher in Mason High School in Ohio that started the cold case program and for the forensics course he implemented. 😊

  • @heather_doestruecrime

Have to take a moment to say what a light this woman was. Let’s highlight what a beautiful soul she had & what an amazing mother she was. I’m from Ohio & frequent Columbus and I’m upset I’ve never heard her name. I don’t want to remember her for the way she died, gotta give this momma some credit. ❤️

  • @BurroGirl

Wait a minute….what about the identity of the woman who had his other child???? Was she interviewed???? She seems to be a serious person of interest.

  • @courtney01cf

If you haven't covered it I'd love to hear you talk about Susan Monica

  • @jaxonmarlow7861

8:45 Okay….I have only made it this far in the video, and I don't want to judge him just because "it's almost always the spouse"…but LOOK at that man's MF eyes!!! Those right there – I call 'em Manson Lamps.
Ladies, I am absolutely serious. Everyone always says that eyes are the window to the soul – Or that one can see love in another person's eyes –
COMPLETE BS, if you ask me – but if ANYONE makes eye-contact with you and their peepers look like THAT? – bro, that's psychopathy looking right back at you – not love

  • @carliennabenbow6725

I wonder if allowing Jeremiah to see this other women, if it would trigger him in any way. Maybe he’d cry or become silent. I wouldn’t want him to be re traumatized but I feel that would be the only way to get a lead on the killer if he isn’t able to remember anything on his own and speak on it.

  • @sarahb5880

AHH just saw my high school on your channel 😂😂 that threw me off so much at first. I actually took that class in 2009 and we watched a lot of CSI back then but did learn about blood splatter patterns and finger printing too lol

  • @jessw5451

God this is how I am and it’s really not good ! To put others first all the time. Honestly if it wasn’t for my partner telling/teaching me stuff about this world I would be stuff

  • @octoberjanae7177

Maybe there was a 3rd woman and Alicia didn’t know about. She let that person in and she killed her went back home to TEXAS and waited for Eugene to move to Texas.

  • @sheliagibson3552

What kind of machine did you make the hot chocolate in

  • @janellechavez2337

What is this new coffee maker?

  • @ninabond172

Omg!!! How cool about high schoolers fighting crime. They totally are going to solve a case.

  • @charleytaite7462

    Yum!!!!! That hot chocolate!!!!!

  • @theghostofarchiebunker8859

Once a cheater always a cheater! The side chicks kid was 2 years old! She was old news! It was a new woman probably his current wife!

  • @gerardinecizmar

It makes me angry that her husband's affair was most likely the reason for her murder. I hope they find her murderer and her husband should really be ashamed. It had to be the other woman.

  • @tracischraenkler4801

What about the woman he quickly married. Maybe she was in his life and they planned it. She moved to Texas first and then he moved and pretended to meet her in Texas. Life insurance to pay off college debt? Just a thought.

  • @ieatpineapples3325

or she let her in because, maybe she tricked her saying something about her husband cheating?

  • @estherrodriguez2054

It makes me so upset when news reporters act like someone’s guilty because they refuse a lie detector test. Polygraph machines are not actually lie detectors. They have very low validity and you should always refuse to take one!

  • @LaMe202

Maybe she was killed by a coworker? Why would the person take her laptops & cellphone? Maybe the person called her before they came…or…the fiance could have paid for her murder?!?!

  • @hjong8830

Curious if the woman he married shortly after is the same woman he had affair with. If it is, I’m sure Jeremiah would have shown reactionary behavior. Maybe detectives could interview people that were around Jeremiah and the new stepmother after they moved to texas to see how he acted around her, if it is the woman Eugene had affair with.

  • @deeone5326

Protect ppl from online lamb fleecing via our AC-COUNTS draining us.

  • @deeone5326

So true, why aren’t our children prepared for the real world? Parents trust the school system… we’ve been let down for money- not cool. Our children need us to force the ppl in power to do the right thing, we cannot trust blindly any longer too many narcissistic ppl in power positions, embedded like a virus.

  • @cali4387

I really think the fiance did it I mean how do you see "the love of your life" brutally stabbed and the quickly move on to Texas where you planned to live with her and remarry?

  • @taramaher2290

I'd give anything to try one of your yummy cups of coffee!

  • @jadeparker4751
