Oh, Stephanie, this is amazing. Finding this one right after your January break, really makes me appreciate you. You have the biggest heart, & despite what you think, you wear it clearly on your sleeve.

I was going to ask you if you heard of an aborignal woman going missing last summer in Barrie, Ontario. I think her name was Summer. I have heard no updates, & the details of her disappeance were very suspicious. I wasn't sure how many Canadian cases you do. This is the only other one I've seen you do other than the Ken & Barbie killers.

I feel compelled to comment on so many of your videos because you do such an amazing job with not only the amount of research you clearly do to prepare for filming, but also the method in which you deliver the story— giving the victims and their families a voice. However, with this video in particular, I felt deep respect for the introduction you gave and the reminder you issued other content creators. There are times where I might not agree with your opinions but I flock to your videos— new and old— because I trust them as such reliable sources because you go to such lengths to research the cases you cover. I’m also a history and psychology teacher in a high school in Virginia and your knowledge of both subjects is impressive. This video is older so I don’t think you’ll ever see this comment but in case you do— well done! ❤

The price of honor is now on YouTube free with ads!

I am sorry to disagree, but I live on the Rez, and the abuse is coming from the guys here! Not men outside of here. Just about every woman I know who is being abused here is being abused by somebody who is native too. But I am American so the stats are probably different here.

  • @KaySutcliff-Michaelis

The worst thing is that this guy must be aware the police knows about him and won't do anything to stop him. I honestly don't understand how the Canadian government isn't looking into this whole mess.

  • @stephaniephouotrides2435

Not saying what happened was right, but imagine hitchhiking in 2021. Winner winner chicken dinner. Stupid is as stupid does

  • @bexg9906

It's so awful that the police had the recording of the phone call and did nothing

  • @eeviegrl

U have given more information on Amber's story than the true crime show i saw . It's horrific the way indigenous women are abused /raped/killed by men but then mistreated then disrespected by law enforcement . I don't understand why. Do these people really think they are better than? Ha! What fools… the disillusioned.

  • @eaugustine8386

Your housekeeping blurb is another reason why I love you and your videos!

  • @kathymccarthy5264

I'm not sure how they could cry racism when numerous people reported this guy and nothing was done–

  • @colorsflight6432

Can we come up with a clear and concise reason why so many native women are being targeted and is there something we can do to help with the problem. Like why is this happening so much? It's one thing to know it's happening but if we know why couldn't we do more? IDK I have heard of this issue for a while but never why? It just breaks my heart and I feel like this is just completely unacceptable.

  • @aadvising5259

Rewatching as I have a friend so close to Leduc and I am so not about it

  • @morticiaaddamz1

Oh I hattee the guy who says his ancestor is Jack the Ripper and HH Holmes so fucking annoying and soooo obviously not true it’s irritating I don’t believe he actually thinks that he just wants attention

  • @LyraEU

This is so typical for Canada it breaks my heart. 🧡🧡🧡

  • @sherrybrown924

MY daughter too was born on January 3 in 1987❤️ I am excited to know that is Bella's Birthday also. Enjoyed this video as well as all your videos and Crime Weekly with Derek. Love you guys. Keep up the good work.

  • @BBB-yz7mt

Miigwetch (thank you in anishinaabemowin) for covering one of our sisters cases

  • @taylordavidson3933

I’ve lived in Edmonton all my life and the treatment of indigenous people is so terrible and sad. The MMIW Movement is gaining traction and the names are getting out there and being honoured, thank you Stephanie for contributing!
Side note: I’m obsessed with the way you say Alberta. You’re so proper! We should be taking notes

  • @thelissoway6758

So weird hearing about my area. I live in Edmonton. My husband works in fortmcmurray

  • @FairFlower005

I really appreciate what you had to say about respectfully making true grim videos with respect to the families. There some big, well known true crime creators I don’t like for this reason.💖

  • @nicolerizzo1314

I always love watching your videos because even when it's a case I've heard covered a bunch already, you always give some info that I haven’t heard before or some other insight. I had heard about that guy with the ranch offering work and being all weird and shady in some other case(s) I've read about, but in all the times I've watched Amber's case be covered, I've never heard him mentioned. Thanks for the work you do, it's always respectfully informative while being entertaining, and that isn't always an easy balance to achieve 💙

  • @amandaburger2506

I know this video is two years old, but I'm going to comment anyways. I'm 19 mins in at the point regarding how they would have gotten into Edmonton from Nisku. I'm from Edmonton. The Edmonton Airport is actually located by Nisku and taxis are easy to come by. It's very plausible that they took a taxi right into the city or took a bus from the airport.

  • @leighareid2709

I remember watching this video when I lived in Ontario but now that I live in Edmonton it’s far more scary now recognizing locations and whatnot.

  • @janebiden

they said they had tangible evidence linking him to the list… ??? trophies?

  • @susiemichael7459

Stephanie is my favorite she does great documentaries n I love how much coverage she gives …I listen to her as I do my artwork very soothing voice…thnks for your great work Stephanie

  • @patriciawaddell3736

I wonder how she paid for the ride 🤔

  • @FreshmenThesis

If the people who called and said the voice was Patrick totally independently of each other I’d feel that made a very strong case for me

  • @deniseokanlawon9412

I know that some voices sound the same but a son would know his own fathers voice.

  • @MsAbbygayle91

January 3rd is my mom’s bday

  • @madinewhite5982

They just don’t care and racism is rampant from almost everyone especially the police towards indigenous people
