Guidry is very common here Stephanie! It's as common as the name Smith.
…and you pronounce it ''Gid-Dree'', lol…

I worked for DCFS several years ago, and when asked for money from the state to have more social workers or more funding, we were told, by a certain governor, to work with what you have and quit complaining!
These workers had between 35 and 40 cases a month! NOT just ONE person in the case, they were 35 to 40 families!
There were instances where S.W. were using their pay to purchase needs for families. Food, clothes, shoes, etc…
I will admit some don't GAF, but it isn't so much that! They are burnt out, underpaid, and desensitized…
@medinatabor6492
No, no, no… If I know or it appears that someone is being abused, ESPECIALLY a child, IDGAF how nosey someone knows I am!
@medinatabor6492
In South Louisiana, a whipping is just the dialect on the bayou, hun… It isn't with an actual whip! (At least I pray not…)
However, she/he may have used her hand, a belt, or a slipper.
I'm not condoning this at all, I'm just trying to explain what the word ''whipping'', means, at least of what I know it means!
Lafourche, is pronounced, ''La-foosh" here…

These are considered throwaway children of society. There’s been massive cuts to DCF, unless the abuse is considered severe children are often left in known abusive homes. I’m not excusing anyone, just giving information.
@liaestey3870
Ezekiels Law passed in july 2023 along with others aimed to protect children in Louisiana
@patricemartin5538
Knowing what ppl do in the system kids get lost and abused so no you can talk to them in another room but I refuse to say ok to them taking my kids out of my home.

Sex offenders shouldn’t be allowed out of prison
@roguemarauder3154
I totally agree with you. We need to stop watering down language to spare “feelings”!
@roguemarauder3154
Politicians shouldn’t receive a salary
@roguemarauder3154
The cops hands are tied in most situations, they can’t violate people’s rights. We need better laws.
@roguemarauder3154
We (America) need to establish better “disturbance of the peace” laws, and domestic violence laws
@roguemarauder3154
Why does America keep letting criminals out of jail?!
@roguemarauder3154
Having disagreements in a relationship is normal, arguing and fighting is not normal.
@roguemarauder3154
Police can’t do a lot when it comes to other people’s children
@stephaniephouotrides2435
Gonna say it and don't care: STOP W THE FREAKIN BABY DADDIES. HAVE A STABLE RELATIONSHIP AND QUIT JUMPING FROM MAN TO MAN. The children always suffer
@kristenanson8826
