I’ve rewatched this video several times because it’s so well done and Stephanie’s rage at all the disgusting monsters in this story is very healing. I caught something that I must have missed in my previous watches: that article that paints Moroni Johnson as a pitiful little victim says that he married several of one of his wives’ daughters. Are they daughters from the wife’s previous marriage or are they his daughters too??? Either way it’s disgusting, but I feel like the article REALLY glossed over that part. You can’t just say a guy married several of his wife’s daughters and not elaborate! But I guess it didn’t fit that jackass Moron-ee’s victim narrative to delve into that. I hope every single one of the many perpetrators in this case rot in prison and then in hell for the rest of time.

its interesting about the wives helping bateman to harm the girls. it made me think of Rose West, people familiar with that case hypothesize that she sexually assaulted young girls, (one her own kid, and along with her husband Fred), because of the fact that she was molested by her father. so she sorta took out her own pain by inflicting pain on others. so perhaps what the wives did stems from the same 'rationale.' "ive suffered, therefore you will, too."

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Thank you for clarifying the difference between these disgusting people and my church. There were a couple of inaccuracies in the beginning when talking about our history but it doesn’t make any difference to this coverage of the flds ……cult.

Stephanie I love you and I have been cackling at the way you say Moroni for multiple videos. I looked it up and the internet tells you to pronounce Moroni like mor-o-nee but I grew up 2 hours from Salt Lake City and I have only heard Mormons pronounce it like mor-o-n-i. It’s hard to type it out so I hope that made sense.

My Uncle married into the Mennonite community because he fell in love with a Mennonite woman, my aunt. He had to do many trials and years of service before he was allowed into the community. My uncle has many kids, who are my cousins. They were ostracized by the rest of the community because their father was an outsider. And his family were outsiders who visited. His oldest daughter married a man who greatly dislikes 'outsiders'. When me and other family members visited, my cousins husband refused to let us interact or hold their baby because he didnt want the baby to be 'tainted'. Its very sad because my uncle and his family are great. I do wish they were more accepting like we are of their community.
