@ThatsMrsMF
The outcome of this case made zero sense to me!!!! She says people are chasing her, she acts different and then accidentally jumps into the harbour and dies? Either it was undiagnosed mental illness or someone was after her and threw her in that lake and left her to die… It's also creeoy that Stephanie related her story to Elisa Lam and then Holly's body is mysteriously found in water as well. Sad and crazy story all around đ
@samanthaberch
I'm rewatching this in December 2023. Have there been any updates on this one?
@destinyschmidt21
UPDATE: her body was found in the harbor. They do not suspect foul play đ
@v3rlu5t
Her voice was beautiful
@natashapelchat9952
Big drug city waste case people come here. She does sound like she could be on something. Not saying she became a user just sounds like she might of been drinking
@natashapelchat9952

@alycehannan827
Wow just googled it and her remains were found, mt heart goes out the her friends and family may she RIP
@ANDREA-kk2gx
Could be having a bad reaction to a drug… Thinking two men were chasing her sounds like it could've been meth.. I speak from experience.. she was in the music scene..bar scene.. I just think it could've been a bad high..bad reaction to something

I like how her informer (doing the detective work) name is â L â

As someone in the music community of Calgary, this one hits home. My dad often plays at the same bar as Holly's dad. It's such a sad sad story.
@andreamelling5046
Is there an update after sll this time?
@KueVaro
Whoa, been binge watching your videos.. then saw this. Holly was one of my best friends, a bandmate in Calgary and I moved to montreal around the same time she moved to Toronto. She would train to my place for long visits every so often.
Punch to the gut still. I miss her âheck yeah letâs goooâ attitude.
Just a little shocking to see her in one of your videos but I guess it makes sense. Thanks for covering the story.
@jennarivera5013
Is there an update video to this case?
@monicaross4013
honestly this doesn't sit right with me. Coincidentally she says she is afraid for her life, running away from two men, being stalked/chased. And then she does actually go missing. Ends up dead, tho honestly im not even 100% sold on that, especially not dead for how long they were saying she was. Officials can easily lie, autopsy wasn't even super clear. Her family made them do a 2nd autopsy because the 1st one wasn't convincing enough. The 2nd one didn't reveal much else. Occam's razor here, obviously she was actually taken and being stalked. Like someone says they're being chased/stalked and is scared. Then the person ends up actually missing and possibly dead later. She was most likely right and wasn't just "paranoid delusional." She was probably paranoid because she had reason to be. Maybe she was a little bit mentally unstable, but it clearly makes the most sense that she was in fact a victim of something sinister.
@BrianaBudgets
Her family suspects her death was an accident, stating, âHolly was not fearless, but was extremely brave and she had recently been known to take part in cold plunges in glacial water.â

Iâve got the same mug with the saying âhello beautifulâ đĽ°
@belladonna5904
This reminds me of Marilyn Bergeron (also in Canada)
@belladonna5904
One thing that confuses me is now that her body has been found, how can they determine there is no foul play when she's been in water so long, they say they don't even know how she died. And since she's so outdoorsy and was a wrestler, it's hard to believe she drowned.
@belladonna5904
I think Holly could be considered vulnerable, since she had just moved into the area and arguably didn't know the area that well.
@belladonna5904
I know you said they knocked on every door, but did the police actually check each room (in the motel)? Because I've read that they didn't have warrants to be able to check all the rooms.
@nicoleweiler1105
UPDATE- Holly's body was found near Pier 11 in September of 2020. Her death was ruled to be accidental after not one, but TWO autopsies were done. There was no injury to her body and there were no drugs, illegal or prescription, in her system whatsoever. An exact date of death is unable to be determined because of the amount of time her body was under water.
@haleyreed444
unfortunately as a former drug user of many things, listening to that voicemail sounded exactly how one i sent .. when i was super paranoid and on something :/ and i would go from happy to sad (thinking about them, then missing them)
in no way am i bashing her, she couldâve been going through something nobody will ever know. and she might not have been on drugs just very distraught, it just broke my heart and itâs just my opinion :/
@giddieonexodus5477
Her making odd or rash decision, does not mean mental break but could be just from fear aloneâŚ
@giddieonexodus5477
Breaking into her own room tells me the roommates know more then they are telling I think why did she break into her own room? Was it the room mates she is trying to hide her moves? Or not let her in?
