Wow! Stephanie you have your plate full Bravo on everything you are doing and sharing this case . I had not heard of the missing Mom before now . I am keeping a open mind in this case since this is so new but I did not feel any Chris Watt's vibes from him asking for help.
His video felt genuinly upset and that is understanadble . If he is not as innocent in this situation as he appears that would be surprising to me .
I absolutely Love Harlloween season it gets me all ready for Hot Coco with Marshmellows curl up and listen to what stories are about to scare me next .

UPDATE- Suzanne's body has still.not been recovered. Barry Morphew was arrested for Suzanne's murder in May of 2021. The charges were dropped in April of this year (2022) due to lack of evidence and lack of body. I also read that DNA belonging to a sex offender was found on the glove box of Suzanne's vehicle.

IDK what to think. Charges against him have been dismissed, but I also heard a tranq. dart cap was found in the family dryer. And he also cast his wife's ballot. Now I couldn't imagine committing voter fraud at all, let alone taking advantage of a loved one's disappearance to do so, but it's not exactly a smoking gun. But the cap is suspicious, and if they still can't verify his alibi, that doesn't look good for him.

Charges against Suzanne Morphew's husband have very recently been dismissed. Look up "TRUE CRIME SUZANNE MORPHEW" and you will see 14 youtube videos on this subject – including a video by Nancy Grace – and news that her husband's case was dismissed. The case was dismissed without prejudice meaning that the charges can be brought and the case tried again at a later date.

I live in the hood, and I don't go to the corner store without my cell phone! Let alone a bike ride in the mountains! Or around town, are you kidding me? My phone goes everywhere with me. I even got an Assurance phone just to be able to play games while taking a break at the park on the way home from food shopping. The store is 6-8 blocks from the house, and there are no buses there or back. I have to take a break from walking to the store. I walk around the store for at least an hour or two, depending on how much I have to buy. I'm tired after shopping, so I stop at the park for a 15 minute break. I hope they find her safe and sound.

I'm sorry but I still don't believe that Scott is guilty … He literally had the recites….the defense went so far out of their way to convict him it wasn't even funny and dismissed any other possiblity it could have been …I've watched the Peterson case over and over again I just don't believe the cops due diligence was done….. Also that's the worst part you can only go off main stream media And so often these outlets can't be trusted

Fun fact revisiting this a yr later… watch his video plea. I was told once by a friend who studies lying and body language and also saw this on some documentary about lying and body language…its all in the eyebrows. When you cry your eyebrows automatically naturally go one way. When you fake cry or fake distress you force your face to do what your brain thinks a sad face looks like. Your eyebrows do the opposite of a natural cry or sad face. Hmm.

There was a Dateline on Friday covering this case. One thing the report mentioned was that Mr. Morphew paid off the mortgage in Indiana when the daughters were quite young.
The elder daughter is in college in Colorado, so they're not babies.
Thank you for being measured and thoughtful in your coverage. Apparently, the girls have been getting disturbing letters from random people. Mr. Morphew was even confronted on his property by a random stranger trying to get him to confess.
His trial is soon. I think it's probable that he'll be found guilty, but I have to wonder if the heavy coverage both by the media and the true crime community means it will be more difficult to find an unbiased jury.

UPDATE: I never felt right about her husband and even though you made good points from the get go the evidence they did have pointed to her husband! I'm so glad to see he was charged with her disappearance and murder but unfortunately her body still hasn't been found.
