He was a spoiled rotten psycho,,,that’s all

  • @adamjonkie5601

Man get you a good friend or coworker bc they often seem to the the first ones to call the police when you go missing.

  • @katherinerobinson

Stephanie: If a juror was present and conscious… they would have been able to dismiss these claims… ROFLMAO.

This guy is so sick! How can anyone do that!?

  • @LAVATORR

47:18 I recall reading somewhere that Joel Jr attempted the garbage disposal trick, but it failed because his dad had already sold the house, was moving in a few days, and had absolutely no reason whatsoever to deal with that on top of all the other stresses of moving. Which makes perfect sense and most people would factor in if planning to murder their parents for the money

In other words, just one more way Joel Jr is a criminal mastermind

  • @LAVATORR

The way the dog is howling in the background throughout the bodycam footage reminds me of the end of Silence Of The Lambs, but much, much bleaker.

  • @aleisaetheridge8682

Joel Jr could easily play the evil and horrible troll in a horror movie without any added make up r prosthetics ,He looks the part just like he looks everyday ,what a horrible little man .

  • @tonybernales5385

He absolutely did NOT want to die because he couldn’t live with himself or cause he felt a incling of remorse.
It was all about him and only him! He didn’t want to be put through so much in prison for the rest of his life he wanted a quick out. He is evil and has a depraved heart. He wanted to relive it all which is why he took it to trial. He knew he was guilty he just wanted everyone to see what he did so he could indulge in their suffering. Seeing them suffer made him happy, he hated his family.
I pray his life in prison is just as hard as he thought it would be

  • @HeyitzBriii89

The fact that Joel jr did all that work which he could have use that energy to get his degree and a job…such a sick monster! This case happened 25 miles from where I live😢 everyone loves Lisa and Joel❤

  • @shannonobrien9922

Scentbird…..my a*# Ivw had same bottle of perfume for 3 years

  • @IDBTitanosaurus

17:00 I love your aside, and it takes a true crime junkie like myself to really appreciate why such an aside matters in the context.

  • @craigpatrick1

He obviously wasn’t to bright probably spending 10 years in college with no degree explains it he didn’t keep his parents cell phones to communicate should of been written down in his premeditation journal 📓

  • @annahuff7571

He was smiling and happy knowing that he was going to kill them and get away with it…or so he thought.

  • @DarkDiscovery-pq8iv

I just can't believe that he thought the police would be looking at Joel guy senior instead of him as the killer because Joel guy junior is so weird and awkward and strange that all signs would be pointing to him that is if he actually made his plan work but he's so stupid when it comes to street smarts, he maybe book smart, and was able to write out the perfect murders, but when it came time to put the plan into motion he was too fat, lazy and stupid to make it work!
    I hate him!!!

  • @annieballasteros9159

Joel reminds me wayyy too much of my own brother. I’m always scared of this happening to my own family

  • @Sangth123

what is with white women and making horrendous crime "cozy", you people are weird

  • @VelveteenRabbitinRedFern

Bless the Guy family. May they rest in Peace. I am so sorry for Lisa and Joel Sr. Jr needs to be put down for this.

  • @VelveteenRabbitinRedFern

Blew my mind too. I sent a sympathy card to the detective McCord, hoping that he gets the psychological help anyone would need after having to deal with this debacle.

  • @Lucy-ym8ch

Thank goodness he left a detailed plan and list of their assets to explain how and why he did it.
Don't forget Lisa was giving him her entire paycheck and planned to stop.
Imagine that, she was bankrolling him her entire life. And that's all he cared about.

  • @olazom283

Such a looser He couldn't find a job or write a CV, but he wrote the murder plan without any problems

  • @Tadesan

I love the way your eyes do that thing.

  • @niaselah3348

Not defending him or his actions but I think it's important to mention that his parents were not actually helping him. If your child has greater difficulty interacting with others and being in a normal job, helping is not giving them money but helping them find something they can do. Providing for someone who feels they can't do anything and then cutting them off is not going to be good for anyone. It's very weird how his parents handled him bc everything you hear about them makes you think they would have been preparing him. Something is off to me

  • @niaselah3348

Stephanie what's the name of the perfume you like?

  • @hhlech2852

This is one of the true crimes that always scares me. His eyes and what he did. When people ask me about True Crime I tell them this is one of the ones that sticks with me.

  • @mikesprigg5495

Worst edit I've ever seen, don't give up your day job.

  • @erinkirk5269

    Note to self;
    Never write your plans…EVER!

  • @ericalenhart1098

I feel like he wanted the death penalty because he knew he would get a guilty verdict but couldn’t imagine having to live the rest of his life in prison. The main reason I believe this is because he told his “friend” to think of him as dead. I believe he thought the death penalty is the easy way out.

  • @ramonperales7592

So Fat ass Murder didn't like to Work Well He Will Have To Work In Prison a little How Disgusting

  • @Cynister262

They enabled him and never took time to teach him how to be responsible. Sad story all around.

  • @kristi_vera_parker

Stephanie, I just LOVE LOVE LOVE you!!! ❤❤❤

    Thank you!!! 💐💐💐🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏

  • @feliciajohnson6412

Poor Joel Sr was probably so confused and thought he was being stabbed because he told Jr to fix the garbage disposal himself 🙄

  • @emilymiguel8198

holy fuck scabbers really let himself go

  • @My-Redemption

What I have a problem with the court system is the damn district Attorney declined to even attempt to prosecute him for the death penalty if not this man if not for this crime then for what he gets life without that in my opinion was not enough

  • @moonrain85

The saddest part was when the officers went through the house and you could see what I assume to be Joel's portrait as a little boy. Their baby, and he grew up to murder them.

  • @freezo3501

    dat Tennessee accent doh

  • @hailieshouse

Just found your Channel… I've been binging you videos all weekend. You're my new fav crime "podcast"

  • @shericiaccio7957

Being cruel to animals pisses me off more than anything. I can't take it. It makes my heart race and I want to vomit.

  • @chocboiwonda6810

    Half brother not step right?

  • @laurad8035

The only redeeming quality this man had was that he didn’t kill the dog.

  • @mfgrocks11

I hate to be this person, but this is unfortunately what happens when parents let their children just leech off of them and be completely lazy for most of their adult life’s. Like I’m sorry, but did Joel really know any better? Did he actually like have any chance of doing anything better? No cause his parents never gave him a chance to. Also, I feel so bad for Michelle‘s biological mom can you imagine like being a single mom, maybe working two jobs, struggling to stay afloat, and then hearing about how this other mom is so much better? OMG

  • @MissSerendipity22

The side effects of being a pseudo intellectual, spoiled, psychopath.
