Never ever ever trust a drug addict or live with one. Never!

Recovering heroin addict. It's a hard thing to battle. I've done plenty of things that are so out of character for me. I have been clean for 7 years. Stephanie, you are amazing!!!!

  • @ryph3

I think the brother pimped her out and when she realized something was wrong and that they weren’t just buying drugs they got rid of her

  • @Julesb2183

I think she interfered with her brother's drugs and he snapped.

Having had several family members who suffered from dementia I have a lot of experiences with those who have memory problems. It's quite common for them to get something looped in their minds. Mom it was shoes. Over and over comenting on shoes. Random things would trigger her. He was using the journal to remind him of things daily. Their conversation triggered him. Something about that situation put it in longterm memory. His long term memory wasn't what he was struggling with so things that had been saved into long term memory would be recalled. He would have great recall for childhood memories but would forget his keys are in his hands. Would struggle to remember where he had just been but know where his home was. He would forget what he was about to do but be able to complete a complicated task he learned before his memory was damaged. If he had short term memory loss its unlikely he would have been able to decieve as he could not have kept the list of facts in his memory to do so. Yes they can experience some delusions but an acurate discription of a car is not a delusion. If he had said he saw Bumblebee in the street that would be different. He was coherent and able to describe the vehicle. Recorded it in a journal as it was an unusual sight, his long term memory being fine he would have known how cars should look parked or driving. Her car would have stood out as unusual and worth writing down in the moment.

It’s so obvious that her brother killed her. The police involved must be the most incompetent force in America. He should have been in jail within a week of her going missing.

I mistakenly and unknowingly of my childhoods friend addiction at the time invited her and her hubby to come down to Florida to stay with me and get a fresh start they also had a three year old. When she arrived she was erratic but I figured she was just overly excited and didn’t think too much into it. She then crashed for two days during that time her hubby who also was a close friend cried to me telling me she was heavily addicted to meth so much so she had brought an ounce into my home and I was livid I took the crap and we flushed every bit of it when she awoke and realized what I’d done she went ballistic she didn’t try to hurt me but she tried to drive off with the child as a pawn and backed into my neighbors fence and I had to have her backwracted I’m very lucky I was in a state that allowed such. It was extremely heartbreaking I then purchased tickets for her hubby and kid to go back home but what hurt was when her mother showed up she wasn’t concerned she was pissed about the lost of drugs and shown she had been the one to get her kid wrapped up in the mess. She didn’t speak to me for the longest till she finally got clean and she reached out to thank me and rebuild our friendship. This one is wild to me just causes it floods me with those memories

Long term drug usage changes the biochemistry of the body and brain. I liken it to certain mental illnesses that do not stem from usage. If her brother wasn’t social and kept to himself in the way he had no social interaction outside of immediate family, his behavior is completely understandable. His mind may be under developed tho no one would suspect it who wasn’t directly involved with him daily.

I have a truck, too, the security feature is glitchy and if I turn the key at times it won’t start and I have to go thru actions and give it time before it will start. Continuously cranking it will drain battery. Too, if she continuously tried starting it out of gasoline then that would also drain the battery. Gremlins. Blame it on the gremlins.

Any kind of drug/alcohol exposure brings you into the common company of sketchy behaviors. Good people make bad decisions. There’s been a lot about this case that suggests there are unnamed persons responsible.

I first thought Erin, but if she had gotten a probable no from her boyfriend on flying her out, and she was already dealing with her brother, maybe she drove to the ravine to think or cry it out. While there, something happened to her. The guy calling the family after some time, and knew the make and model of her car, I would be looking at him having information

  • @laurad8035

“Jumped on the Suicide Train and rode it away from Person of Interest Station”!!

    I’m dying here!😂

  • @jessicaunderwood4005

She's driving around the apartment talking on the phone, her wacked out brother runs to the car and assaults her, taking over the vehicle and driving to somewhere to dump her body, then driving the car until it runs out of gas, away from the dump site….

  • @tammarrafoote4928

Yes… I have experienced withdrawal from heruine! It isn't pretty! I would never take someone's life but there are those that could! I'm clean, thanks to Sublocade…

  • @heatherlatimer5115

I don't think brother did it.

  • @colorsflight6432

I have a hard time believing someone that out of it on drugs would be able to get rid of a body that well to where it was never found.

  • @krisy-in-italy

I’ve been binging all your older videos during this heat wave in Italy and enjoying every minute. You are probably my most favorite True Crime channel because you are so genuine and it’s obvious the work you put into each and every case.

I think the brother did it and probably his dealer helped with the disposal of her body and they got lucky that it was never found. It something he has to live with. She went back to the apartment after visiting the ATM maybe just to charge her phone. She was disappointed in the NY boyfriend and Mandy probably told her brother to get out and he snapped. My 2 cents.

  • @auntiekae2284

I'm a little late to this party, but any updates on this case?

  • @bronerariel

I’m in recovery from an off and on 15 year opiate addiction. I’ve been addicted to OxyContin, heroin, and fentanyl. The last 4 years of my addiction I was also addicted to crack. The things I always said I wouldn’t do started happening one by one. Although I don’t think I would be capable of murder I know anything is possible. My ex girlfriend almost slit my throat with a piece of glass when she was coming down from crack and we got into a tiny little argument over nothing and she was ready to kill me. Now she’s also sober and we are so close and it’s crazy to look back at the life we had and now the life we have. Even after our breakup she’s my best friend 10 years later. Bottom line….Everything is a yet for addicts. It’s a progressive disease. 😣

  • @gitana6791

    Her brother did it period

  • @Cringiecrochgoblin

How did he know what she was wearing and for sure that she got in HER vehicle? If he was in the shower and just yelled goodbye.. Seems more plausible that she came back and he saw what she was wearing at that point

  • @Kimmaline

IMO, her car was found that way because it had been joyridden in. Joyriders will run a vehicle very literally until the gas runs out, and had it been nighttime and the lights were on–I could see them not turning the lights off when they ditch. I can even come up with a few ways the doors could be locked.

  • @ChristaChaos

Stephanie – thank you for looking at this through the eyes of an addict. He may be guilty or he may not be, but as addicts a very big percentage of us do not trust the police what so ever. We have been treated in ways the average Joe would never even imagine by police. All of his actions can totally be justified through the eyes of an addiction. The last thing I will ever do I willingly let police in my house especially when he KNEW they had already made up their minds be was guilty and in his past experience he knew any little thing they found would be turned against him. You are 100% correct, we only look at the short term – he saw his sister gone, he was already stealing from her so he was going to continue to steal until she came home or her money ran dry. Your friend is also correct though as well because we are complete monsters in witndraw especially when we know someone can give us $20 quickly and we are no longer sick but the refuse to give it to us. And if you throw away what we do have, that is ten times worse. I totally see both sides but most true crime YouTube-ers would've taken his actions as complete guilt and find myself when watching true crime video thinking quite often "yeah this chick knows absolutely nothing about how police really are. So thank you Stephanie!

  • @suchlanguageface

I just hope it's not all just because of heroin. Mandy's bro, then Mandy, then out near oldmate with the journal, and also a cop who didn't get anything right

  • @suchlanguageface

Something for all of us, Stephanie! Tea and chai will see you through ❤

  • @laughingcorrpseholly4136

I didnt believe that she was 33! At first when I saw her pictures before you said her age I thought she was 16-17 years old 😮

  • @jewelz4217

In a way.. idk if I believe Aaron did it. Yes he possibly could have done it.. but as a recovering addict I don't think he could have done this and not been caught red-handed. I keep thinking back to her wallet being left behind. Was there money left in it? If so, that makes me believe even more that Aaron didn't do it. I can't see an addict that far into addiction would have left behind their means to a fix.

  • @sallyh.6362

I don’t think Aaron did it.

  • @Rainbowofthefallen

Just commenting for the algorithm 💜

  • @devonnalta8903

Im not so sure they could enter even if hes not on the lease hes been there for months. Even if she wanted him out shed have to evict him at that point

  • @annaliesewheeler9897

If he was in the shower when she left, how was he able to provide a full description of what she was wearing/carrying? 🤔

  • @Lizmadethis

love the mercury retrograde comment we need more

  • @bloodyneptune

Wait, he jumped in the shower, while he was said shower she said she was leaving, he shouted out from the shower that he loved her…and saw her leave carrying her car keys, cellphone and wallet? He saw that from in the shower?

  • @cocktailswithjojo7663

Her brother is a scumbag and scumbags know fellow scumbags. I think her brother sold her to human traffickers. Hence why he feels she's alive and knows what's going on

  • @Jordys_Cursed_Camera

I think Aaron murdered Mandy. I hate thinking that but there's too many red flags. As a recovering addict and having been around addicts all my life I don't think drugs are a motivating factor in this case. What I did notice is the fight that was witnessed but Aaron claims after he chased Mandy inside the apt he got in the shower and she left and he called out love ya. That whole thing is extremely bizarre and doesn't explain how their fight ended or how he got her bank card. I doubt she'd give it to him or give him a chance to steal it considering that's 1 of the main things they were fighting about. Then him claiming to not be able to report her missing bc he dialed the wrong number….really!! Also I understand police not being able to enter the apt without a warrant or his permission because even if he wasn't on the lease he did live there. Also if it were my sister that was missing I'd do anything I could to find her regardless of whether I was using or not. I pray Mandy gets justice and her mother gets answers.

  • @jenl4408

If he was in the shower, how did he know what she left with..???..

  • @ShaRenaes

How could he say what she was wearing/ carrying if he was in the shower and yelled out to her ? What she was wearing…I can see… but how did he see what she was carrying? 🤔

  • @h.m.t.g

I just read that Aaron was killed in 2010. Aaron should have known not to mess with the wrong people🤦🏻‍♀️
