I keep seeing people bringing up Tanya's criminal past, and as a local to Lenawee, I can shed some light on why people weren’t making a big deal out of it.
Unfortunately, especially given the time the boys were taken, people tended to turn the other cheek if the victim they had a "consensual relationship" with was 14+, and especially if the perpetrator was a woman. And when chances are a quarter of your neighbors have been in jail for something, they may look past her "indiscretion" if she had already gone to jail and done her time, especially when the crime was done 20some years ago.
What she did was disgusting, and I am in no way defending her. She told John straight-out about her conviction, and if he had any reservations, he shouldn't have married her, let alone have three kids with her.

It is extremely difficult to have a foot heal properly if the bones aren’t aligned exactly because later on they would have to break it again. Soft cast allows some slight movements so the bones align and shape exactly how they were before. Any even slight differences can cause issues with mobility, balance, and even gait. Bones can be manipulated in many different ways to have different growth outcomes but soft cast is the best for a foot.

If he really handed the boys over to human trafficking, not only is that a fate worse than death, but they could actually be underground. Traffickers have thousands of underground tunnels, underground rooms, "safe houses," and other traffickers to help them smuggle children out of the area.

How can a wife & husband have a conversation about moving to Florida, think that it’s all good, they’ll talk later, then find out your husband kidnapped them from school & is driving to Florida to move there? It sounds to me like their marital problems were much worse than either of them wants to admit, & he was leaving town w/ his kids before she could leave him. Y’know, get her before she gets me? It’s childish & dangerous & absolutely unfair. To the mother, AND THE KIDS!! This man did NOT care about his children’s welfare!! He didn’t want her to divorce him & love our & fight for custody rights, so he chose to take the kids & kill them so she can’t have them! Stubborn childish piece of sh*t! His first plan got messed up bc the wife found out he was going to Florida. Either that, or he pulled a Diane Downs—killed his kids for another woman w/ the promise of a new life w/ her. I mean, all this mess started when he went to a HS reunion & possibly met up w/ an old gf. Did they make plans together & he realized that it wouldn’t work if he had an ex-wife & 3 kids he no longer wants in his life? It’s shown as a “mystery” but I KNOW these cops have a working theory as to what happened but they’ll never share their exact theory unless they find bodies. I don’t think we’ll ever know for sure. Too bad, they were sweet & adorable children, & regardless of the mom’s past wrongs; these boys had grandparents, cousins, friends, that ALL deserve answers too. 😢

These kids where never seen again .Theres a case in Australia where a woman said she gave a newborn baby she had ,nobody knew she was pregnant she played comprtition water polo whilst heavily pregnant and had had previous secret pregnancies and adopted these babies out but this child the police have jailed her because she killed it .We all believe she killed it her name is Kelly Lane .this case reminds me of this .Who gives there children to people who u cannot track down .So sorry that i think the Skelton boys are no longer living hes a family anihilator i feel this so strongly .

i can handle the most gruesome cases but this one is hard to watch because i feel like those babies are still alive. they're probably with people who are hurting them and making their family think they're safe. sex trafficking is real. this is … devastating. those poor babies.

It's always a little more sad for me when the victims are around my age. Andrew would be 21 just like me, the other two 17 and 19. It hurts my heart so so much knowing we all got to just go on and they're this little forever. These boys could've been my friends. We could've gone to school together. It really fucking sucks that they never got to really start their lives.. So fucking heartbreaking.
