I’m just hearing about this case and I want to say I’m so sad and sorry for little Codi and his family. In cases like this where custody wasn’t presided over yet, both parents should definitely be responsible and in some cases where the primary parent is carrying more than their fair share and there is an absent parent by choice as well. Such a cute kid that probably would of benefited and thrive with some social service supports in place. 😢

And just about 5 days ago he did his first jailhouse interview since convicted. He is now stating he was coerced. I understand a child or teenager maybe but not an adult. I’m not buying it.
He should rot in jail then burn in hell. This story is so sad and heartbreaking 💔 💔🙏🏾🙏🏾

I’m watching this wayyyyyy late compared to when it was a first posted, but I’d like to say, Can we all realize just because its our normal doesn’t mean its not someone’s normal? When my daughter now 16 was 4 she was up at 2am most days, my ex worked at the nuclear plant overnight and i worked in the hospital lab on weekends so we wouldn’t have to send her to a daycare center, we purposely trained her to our schedules, to when we went to bed and when we would be up most so that we could spend the most time with here. Everyone in the house went to bed at about 9am, and woke up at 4 or 5 to run errands then a quick nap from 7pm to 10pm when whoever was working that night woke up to get ready for work and then the other parent would stay up with the baby all might while the other one was on shift. It was OUR normal and we caught so much judgmental slack for it and sometimes it was painful to hear people judge our schedules until I realized it was what worked for US and I started shutting down unsolicited advice instead of just listening to it and getting hurt more. Only saying be mindful just because a child is up at 2am doesn’t mean bad parenting.

I’m on the side of the police did not allow him to leave. I don’t think he was there voluntarily. They are being hella shady, regardless of whatever Corey did. They should and must be held to a higher standard.

Id get a lawyer no matter what. Cops are employed to twist things to catch people. Anything you say can and will be used against you. Not for your advocacy.

Why was their only 3 children left alone that he got charged with the first time when he had 4 children in his care or did i miss something? So Very Tired of Hearing that Children are being Killed by their Own Parents or a defacto who doesn't want them around! Why Can't Mother's just Focus on their Children and forget Men until they Truly find a Loving Caring Honest Non-violent Man who DOESN'T move in And they live in Separate Dwellings for the Safety of their Most Precious Assets in Life? It's wild that you've gone from a GREAT newbie youtuber- to a seasoned VET in one year! Kids being awake at hours that may not be ‘normal’ isn’t a huge red flag to me. My husband works a rotating swing shift so two day shifts, 2 days off, 3 night shifts, 2 day off, etc so sometimes when he comes or goes, he wakes me and our son up despite being quiet. When our son was young he was up from 1am-4am routinely for months no matter what we tried. When son was potty training he’d be up because he peed the bed on accident or thought he might and then couldn’t get back to sleep. If you ask our now 15 year old he would say has never been a ‘routine’ in our home because of my husbands work and school schedule, my working then staying home schedule, his school and sports schedule, we don’t even eat meals together and then add my dad living with us for the last 9 years (my mom did til a year ago when she died) so I’m sure if there had been an issue in our home the cops would have wondered as well since it’s not typical. I have the privilege of watching this after the father was arrested though.

As much as i love your videos, this is so judgey.. i can tell you that my now 17 year old went thru a phase at around 3-4 where he wore a stupid mickey mouse rain coat and rain boots to bed every night for about a month… it wasn't worth the fight.
