I'm sorry this took so long. There were some factors that continued to get in the way, but we now have our conclusion! I have been working on doing things that will make this channel and content better, I've been learning a lot and you should see some changes being implemented that make the viewing experience so much better and more interesting. Thank you all, as always, for your support and love!

  • @Chemically_Induced

the Mossad wasn't formed until 1949. they couldn't have had a file on Mengele. I think you mean the Haganah, who rebranded themselves as Mossad, because of all the atrocities they committed.

  • @uberkloden

Smart Dude. Evil, but smart. Why did he hurt those folks?

  • @kristinelizabeth2982

The US also secretly hid nazis for their technological advances, to use them for US nefarious activities, just like South America did.

I LOVED this series!! I'm so thankful I watched it. Somehow I had the hardest time on this third part because I was just getting more and more frustrated about this man's long life and freedom. But also about him never facing justice and especially never showing any sign of regret. I wish he turned up tortured by his own mind, losing it, for a very long time. I know he sometimes struggled mentally because he had to live constantly hiding in fear but he was also extremely helped. I cannot get used to realizing how some evil people without a conscience can be so much favored by life and how other beautiful souls happen to face the worst, hellish tragedies without any logical reason. As much as I'm fascinated about Mengele's complex personality and the psychology behind it, I just hate him too. I honestly feel he had no soul and I don't care if he had the ability to be nice to kids and gave them candies, he never valued their lives, just as you said. Thank you Stephanie for such an intense journey, as always ❤ I love how passionate you are about what you do and how deep and detailed your researches always are. I never get tired of listening to you ❤

@StephanieHarlowe – Please do a dark history series on Thalidomide, as well as experimental vaccines given to pregnant mothers and infants in the mid-1900s (1940-1980). I was born a year after this horrific drug, which had been given to pregnant women in their first trimester as a cure for morning sickness, had finally been proven to cause catastrophic birth defects and given the number of experimental vaccines given to children in and around the mid-1900’s, I feel fortunate to have survived.

The drug was researched, developed, and manufactured by no fewer than NINE pharmaceutical researchers/clinicians who were actual Nazi war criminals, had gone to prison after the war and were released in the 50s to once again prey on innocent civilians and become extremely wealthy while doing it. The court cases over the last forty years are also fascinating!

Irma Grese has not only been cruel but a coward. Because she allegedly had to be protected by their sisters when it came to playground fights with other peers.😂 she coudnt fight people who where as strong as she was. But instead she turned against weaker and physically ill camp prisoners. Disg***ing woman.

  • @corissawilliams3926

I just feel like he was probably a pedophile. Maybe he didn’t carry out sexual things against children after the holocaust but just like always with a family with children? Always playing with the children…

  • @gordanaivanisevic7325

I have visited Auschwitz – Birkenau several times and pushed for the school where I work to organize school trips there every two years. It has since became a staple of our curruculum. Never forget

  • @gablars20

Thank you for this well- done series. I learned a lot of historical things I was unaware of. I never heard of the American eugenics program existing before nazis latched on to the concept. Didn't teach that to us in US History classes, at least back in my school days. I can not believe how this evil man could compartmentalize what he was doing and then be a pleasant – appearing, benevolent-appearing, child- loving appearing, monstrosity of a human. What a study of twisted psychology.

  • @graciel3725

This guy has the profile of a serial killer for sure!

  • @gabriellebailey4253

Would you ever consider doing a video of Oscar Schindler?

  • @gin.k

    Thanks for making this series.

  • @thatgirlnamedcarol8268

Josif was an unbelievably talented con man and extremely intelligent monster. As an psychopath with these skills, he wasn’t able to make emotional or sympathetic connections. So he would “act as if” hoping a true emotional connections might happen…He desired to experience this, never would achieve it. Like Stephanie said: the most important person to him was him.

  • @thatgirlnamedcarol8268

Josef was able to stroll through Germany carefree, visiting friends, enjoying quaint family reunions and never seeming to have a fear of consequences that may occur.
It is the first rule and ability any con man must first master!
    It’s called “act as if!”
It is clearly evident that he is a master manipulator, able to make just about anyone believe anything he wants them to about him without a single blink of an eye. It’s almost like he created so many believable identity’s with unquestionably histories, that he actually started to believe them and switching one to next effortlessly. All the while depending on the identity he was portraying, no one would think twice because he, very confidently and believably, always “acted as if”.
Prime example of a narcissist with boarder line personality disorder.
Or just be a complete Psychopath with delusions of grandeur…

  • @mizubiart6230

Your video is good except for the last part. No,Mengele’s goal was not to create more aryan twin babies. Actually, the whole twin thing was because at the time, scientists were trying to figure out how to differentiate fraternal and identical twins. Because identical twins had 100% the same genetic content (or, almost) they were excellent for studying genetic illnesses or other experimentation, like Marfan’s syndrome or dwarfism. Mengele, while cruel, did not exist isolated in the scientific world at the time. He was unexceptional, even in the category of human experimentation. We forget how cruel this field used to be. He saw it as an opportunity, just as a sick Shiro Ishii might have, studying deadly epidemics in Chinese villages, also living a cushy life because the American government wanted to use him for developing biological weapons… so much morality muddled in the swamp of personal interest. It’s important to be realistic when you portray such cases.

  • @kamilebrahimoff3589

The arrest of Adolf Eichman worried Joseph Mengele, so he evaded the Nazi hunters by relocating to a different country, which worked. The Nazi hunters never managed to arrest Mengele.

  • @louisacerna5469

If Mangele got away so much time without being captured and because his family faked his death, I don’t believe Hitler killed himself.

  • @mikeveis3616

You literally can see the devil in his eyes!

  • @mikeveis3616

Dr. Josef Mengele was the most evil and wicked person ever to walk the face of the earth.

  • @sheoulgra

I mean the irony with him being not smart is that he was still smart enough to live l8ng enough without being discovered

  • @origamipein18

I hope Mengele's heart attack hurt. XC

  • @origamipein18

Also, that is an insult to clowns and sharks! DX

  • @origamipein18

He was NOT a hero! D:<

  • @sevdagocurucu3030

Dr josef Mengele masum kimseye zarar vermedi siz yalancısınız Allah rahmet eylesin mekanın cennet olsun Amin Dr Mengele ❤️

  • @Iambush78

You are proving my theory the nazis never lost

  • @sevdagocurucu3030

    Yalan ifdira 👎👎👎👎

  • @bluebellbeatnik4945

The more I hear about Mengele the more he sounds like an absolute idiot. 'let's see what happens if i do this'. His experiments sounds extremely idiotic – like that of a 5 year old. Sew twins together to see what would happen? What the fk do you think will happen you dumb moron??? How can anyone be that stupid? And he's the creme of the eugenics crop???

  • @bluebellbeatnik4945

I really HATE the way men put women on pedestals like that. Why can't they just be attracted to someone? Why do they have to deify them? Awful. I'd be surprised if they didn't play madonna-whore games in the camps as well. I can't wait for this stupid male-gaze society to fall apart.

  • @DisabledPsychedelica

Oof, the out of context Luther quote got me ROTFL

  • @alexjager4517

Mengele watching the Disneyland TV series in the fifties. How bizarre

  • @daniellestates246

One. You do such a great job thank you. To. Doctor seems like such a far stretch for this man’s angel of death no reaper of misery. he deserves so much more than I can even put into words. So incredibly sorry for all the lives that were lost all the people who did not get to live in those who did live through it and we’re so traumatized. Thank you to all of the survivors who speak up and make their voices heard you are so strong thank you

  • @debbiemillerbeck7619

Your research is on point. I listened to the Dark History 3 part series on Mengele during my 4 mile a day walk in July/August of 22. Yes, I discovered you and am mow back tracking. There is no one better on You Tube than you. Anyone that says Mengele got what he deserved in the end is in serious need. He got to live out his life better than a lot of people who are positive members of society. He should have been made to face his victims for THEM. They should have been able to bear witness to his punishment. Execution would have been to quick. For a narcissist like him, having his freedom taken away and waking up every morning in a cell would have been horrible for him….and yes, maybe add a couple of years of torture for good measure. Anyway, awesome series.

  • @lisasmith7

Learning something new everyday is amazing. Have a great week ❌️ ⭕️

  • @julianorris3543

He was completely devoid of any humanity….pure evil…..can't think of anything bad enough to call him…..thanks Stephanie…this was really good…thoroughly enjoyed it….please do more like this xx

  • @tatiaromero

As a Jewish person I'm enraged this happened to my fellow people, as an Argentinian Jew I'm enraged that we have always been so corrupt had literally no moral compass.

  • @kristiwarren2589

By the end of this I won’t be using Bayer products and KAISER permanente yeah NO! Lol. Ever been to Kaiser… the worst.
This man should have gotten his karma and at before his old age. Disgust me. Thanks for the history lesson. I’ve read and watched things on this man as I’m a dive deep person when it comes to the Holocaust. Started in elementary with the diary of Anne Frank. I’m almost 50 now and it I still read or watch everything I can about it. I Lived in Huntsville, Al for a bout 5-6 yrs as a child and frequented the Space and Rocket Center… still baffles me he had a civic center named after Von Brain there. That would be a good deep dive!

  • @mekahoward975

    History of the Vatican?

  • @janicel.johnson1683

The interesting thing about history and historic figures is perspective. Many times, heroes are only heroic within a narrow spectrum. Your investigative work is amazing and informative…thank you!
