A highly detailed crime investigation revealed the horrifying truth behind the kidnapping and assault of eight-year-old Lachelle. Despite her brave survival, the perpetrator, Milagro Cunningham, tried to evade justice with claims of mental incompetence. However, Lachelle’s resilience and courage in speaking out led to his conviction on charges of attempted murder, kidnapping, and sexual battery. The unsettling details of the crime scene, including Lachelle being found covered in 200 pounds of concrete, shed light on the heinous nature of the crime. Despite appeals and re-sentencing, justice was ultimately served with a 50-year sentence for Milagro in 2016. Lachelle’s strength and determination to help other victims through her non-profit organization stand as a testament to her unwavering spirit in the face of unimaginable trauma. This case serves as a reminder of the darkness that can lurk in seemingly familiar places and the importance of vigilance in protecting our loved ones. As a highly detailed crime investigator, the meticulous examination of the evidence in this case paints a chilling picture of the depths of human depravity and the triumph of the human spirit in the face of unspeakable horror.

i prefer your darker more horrific stories. how do i recommend a case

  • @kimslygh4758

She went through a heinous crime. This young lady suffered as a child. She showed courage & strength. Such a smart child. She has grown into a beautiful young woman. I cannot believe he has been given such a light sentence for such a horrific crime. Disgusting! Why wasn’t he deported?

  • @dietdrpepper15

Man are we SURE that guy is a 'juvenile'? Maybe those are older jail pictures, but : / I don't know.

  • @user-qk5tv4zw1r

What an amazing 8 year old little girl❤ so happy she is doing well. He should rot in jail forever for great job Annie

  • @angelasummitt7682

Not enough time for a POS that would do that to a little girl 😢

  • @hollykoch8238

If the young miracle lady would ever see this and reads comments. You are so beautiful. What a warrior and survivor. You my girl have a beautiful soul. You're such an incredible inspiration. Sending love, hugs, good thoughts and good vibes to this strong amazing young lady. My heart hurts for you. But it's also filling to the top with the light that shines in you.,from you. ❤❤❤❤

  • @rjtruth1779

I cant with the sentence being appealed as cruel and unusual. What he did to her was cruel and unusual and even tho he wasnt successful in his attempt to kill her that was his intention. There are plenty of people who serve time in prison and have been dealt life sentences for crimes they didnt commit. This is not one of those cases so idc how old he was he knew what he was doing and had already displayed violent behaviors prior to this incident.

  • @RippedupRefuge

Its so funny to me to learn about how they bendnover backwards for people who come here illegally. I have to prove my residency, provide ALL the papers on me and my kids for them to go to public schools but they arent even allowed to question who these people are that come into schools?! Yikes. Ive seen young people commit just as an atrocious crime as adults. So scary.

  • @janalyster2992

It is awful that this poor girl had to endure two extra sentencing because his sentence was considered cruel and unusual. I have yet to understand why it matters when considering the crimes he did. And it happens all the time, the offender is more protected and receives more consideration than the victim. Why not say nothing more cruel or unusual than what they put their victim(s) through. At least then the victims would get some justice.

  • @lorifintel9784

His family threw his out because he was evil, but was like poor him when he almost killed a child. Disgusting.

  • @diylife7438

This was clearly not a one off situation. His malicious behavior continued to escalate over time from the instances of misconduct at school, to the behavior at home that led to his Aunt kicking him out & the criminal misconduct that took place while he was between houses to ultimately murder & SA. I think she said it best when she said “What child kidnaps, r*pes & tries to murder another child?” Regardless of his mental capacity he is a danger to society. If they don’t elect to deport him or deny his parole then he should be placed in a mental facility bc he’s not fit to be in society unsupervised. The smiling in court makes my blood boil. Developmental issues & health issues aside he knew what he was doing was wrong & against the law. He hid her body in a place he knew she likely would never be found & then concocted a cover story to hide what he had done.

As for Lachele what a beautiful, strong, compassionate woman she has become. To not only survive all that she did but then to create a non profit to help others that have been through similar situations. There are no words for how amazing she is! I hope she is thriving today! ❤

  • @kimberlyvesneske9504

He should have received the punishment for murder because he believed she was dead when he left her under rubble….. his intent was murder !!!

  • @amandaw.8605

unusual punishment is what he did to her. not him being in prison. They even said 15 mins later he would have been facing a murder charge.

  • @leahwright4843

    What a gorgeous girl🥹

  • @nesita99

How was his sentence still considered cruel and unusual? Cruel and unusual was what he did to this child. He deserved to rot in jail for this.

  • @Ishyyaccardo

Omg poor baby 😢 what a weird sicko

  • @alicefarretta8989

Girl my mom could not stand me from the day I was born okay so at 14 she made me leave the house I lived in Massachusetts I lived in a car my neighbor noticed and she took me into her house and gave my mother a big speech about how she was such a terrible mother and all this stuff so I've been on my own since I was 14 but I'm watching this episode and I am a survivor of s a my own uncle and a few guys that came into my mother's house which wasn't anything new my mother was quite promiscuous so with that being said I've been through a lot in my life I'm now 60 years old I have two children of my own they're all grown up and both my husband's passed away both when my children with the age of 6 I can only give advice to other survivors of s/a don't allow that to ruin your life go get some help talk to someone that's what I've been doing for years I don't even know how many okay and I still suffer from trauma and I have PTSD with psychosis I have severe depression I have internet and explosive disorder but you know what I take one pill for all thatbut I still have flashbacks of things that have happened to me and I just tried to ignore it because I have been seeing someone for a very long time and when this happens I'm kind of used to it at this point

  • @chinamarie1933

I need dream because ive troubled w insomnia for soooo long & its dreadful while being a mom its hard to maintain a positive sleeping schedule for the both of us. Id really appreciate the sample , if it works ill forever be a customer with Dream. Ive tried EVERYTHING. But i really do not want a prescription, melatonin does not work. Nun of that works. I adore you. I listen too you podcast every night to try to go sleep just to put my mind somewhere positive.

  • @reirei7851

That poor baby! I hope she can heal from this horrific event. That POS doesn’t ever deserve to see the light of day.
I also feel so sorry for that little girls mom. Could you imagine how much guilt she has to be going through. Prayers for all of them!

  • @cassieondra

“He has the mental capacity of a 7-9 year old”…. Last time i checked, 7, 8 and 9 year olds don’t kidnap children and rape them, and try to kill them. But ooookkkaaaaaaaaaaay.

  • @DaYPaPsSs

I like to hear a story of a survivor, what a brave strong young girl.

  • @mistycappadonia5307

That is one strong little girl! And at 8 years old i can't believe how smart she was. She did everything right. Hearing her tiny voice really broke me though in that interview. But im so happy seeing her when shes older be so brave. She grew into such a beautiful strong young woman. Also i really hope lisa has no guilt she did whats right in my eyes helping a child, unfortunately she believed him that he was a victim. And sometimes i hate our justice system idc how old he mentally is…he knew immediately to lie to police, he took her while everyone was asleep….so he KNEW what he was doing was wrong

  • @mistycappadonia5307

First red flag around 10:16 . Milagro tying up his 3 year old cousin is so alarming and anither red flag is him trying to play the victim to lisa. He told her a sob story but left out all of his devious and criminal actions. If this was an adult most of us would turn him away but i hinestly can say i would never turn down a child and leave them. Lisa just had no idea that this wasnt just a normal kid with a shitty family.

Also i would love to try beam! I have always struggled with sleeping and have tried quite literally everything. Melatonin, tylenol pm, zzzquil. And they make me feel drowsy but never put me to sleep or keep me to sleep😭

  • @heytam7162

A true miracle .. God Bless you Lachelle, you are precious sweetheart.

  • @bethmartinez9558

Hearing her voice broke me. What a strong little girl!!

  • @jml4360

The cops were so harsh as if they were interrogating the suspect, not CHILD VICTIM!

  • @lindsaygomez3374

So I have a hard time with the insanity/ incompetent plea. To me it just sounds like when someone says "if a shark attacks you it's just because they think you're a seal". Okay great but that doesn't make me any less dead. You being insane at the time of the crime bring the people you hurt back and it doesn't keep the rest of us safe from your behavior so I have a hard time with that being used.

  • @marcinowalk8077

Is letting him get paroled gonna end up being a big mistake like we’ve seen in the past? Where a judge offers parole or a lower bond and the offender ends up killing or sexually assaults someone again. It happens so much. Even with cases of domestic violence

  • @user-nb1yj1rm3g

She has grown into such a beautiful young lady. Thank God for your miracle recovery, sweet girl.

  • @strwbrrymilk

Not only is Lachele an incredibly strong and courageous person, but she is also stunningly gorgeous! I cant believe this story – so crazy!

  • @SweetSuzyQ210

Lachele is amazing, and I’m so glad that she has used this tragedy to bring hope to others who have gone through similar situations. Although the person who did this is in jail, I completely disagree with the legal system that allows violent juveniles a reduced sentence. I personally do not believe repeat violent criminals can be rehabilitated regardless of their age. But that is just my opinion.

  • @Smashleigh89

Life sentence for a minor is too harsh and is only for murder.. he tried to murder her. He thought he did. That’s crazy

  • @redlamina5937

The investigator was being a bit rough with their questioning, just their tone of voice is overbearing! Awful. Poor baby girl, I pray she is healing and never has to deal with evil again!

  • @BazaarGilman

I think it’s kind of a weird irony that she’s called miracle girl because Milagro means miracle 😬

  • @bluecatjay5229

There was no mention of he was hearing voices or delusional state!
Everyone knows murdering and rape is bad ! People don’t just casual talk about going murder a child or rape one like they just going fishing or randomly just kill a child in front of people like it’s socially acceptable.
He took her away and tried to hide it that tells me he knew it was bad he knew it wasn’t social acceptable and lied to cover it up!

  • @shaun273

Damn this episode was months ago. I’d love to try it. I work nights and struggle to sleep during the day.

  • @nickyjones867

What an amazing girl! Growing up by strong intelligent women meant she is also so strong and wise. I wish her all the happiness and health she deserves x

  • @laraserendipity1424

What does it actually take to get people alike this deported?

  • @annthompson3931

He could of been on a hill when he threw the the bin into the long dumpster

  • @alexandrazakos528

This is why we need to build the wall and kick out illegals.

  • @SunshineLove26

    Lachele is a survivor!!!!!

  • @user-go2zx4el8l

My comment he should stay in

  • @izzymeadows1748

“He could have at least let her get her shoes” dude…. He beat, strangled and raped her. Worrying about her feet was the last of his concerns. Poor baby. Xx

  • @katrinacarter2019

Very much so shes a Miracle ,if it wasnt for her quick thinking and pretending to be dead ,that and her tough spirit kept her alive ,just amazing for a 8 yrold ,shes amazing young lady ❤,he should never be getting out #!!#
