In the twisted world of the flds cult, under the rule of the heinous leader Warren Jeffs, disturbing crimes have been committed that defy all moral and ethical boundaries. Warren Jeffs, the self-proclaimed Prophet of the flds, used his position to manipulate, control, and harm his followers in unspeakable ways. From arranging forced marriages to underaged girls to committing heinous acts of sexual abuse, Warren Jeffs’s actions knew no bounds. His tight grip over the flds community led to a reign of terror where members lived in fear and submission.

Despite his imprisonment, Warren Jeffs continued to exert influence over the flds church, manipulating his followers even from behind bars. His twisted beliefs and criminal behavior led to a lifetime sentence in prison, where he still manages to spread his toxic ideology to his loyal followers.

As the flds community grapples with the aftermath of Warren Jeffs’s tyranny, the truth about the darkness that lurked beneath the facade of the church is brought to light. It serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of blind faith, the abuse of power, and the devastating impact of cult leaders on innocent lives. The story of the flds under Warren Jeffs’s reign is a chilling reminder of the depths of depravity that can be reached in the name of religion.

    FLDS. Cult or Religion?

  • @lalalataylor

Thank God they have Jeffs locked up. But I wonder if they ever prosecuted any of these other men that were raping under aged girls? Clearly Jeffs wasnt the only one in the cult that did this If they had all of the marriage records and ages of the girls, they mustve had enough evidence.

  • @kathylibby3676

I believe the beliefs of the FLDS are more like Joseph Smith's original version of Mormonism, and that they pride themselves in being the TRUE Mormon church. The FLDS is not an off shoot of the mainline LDS church. Quite the opposite. I am not a Mormon, and never was one.

  • @tracivonkaenel3684

Key word “male” members get the priesthood only male.

  • @MrScubajsb

What amazes me about all these cults That's why they went to preach to everybody about how righteous they are and how good you have to be in order to not face God's judgment. And the same people have these god complexes and they are abusing women and children. They are stealing people's money. They are doing things that they preach against. It's amazing how people can go and become so brainwash and get so many people to follow along behind them

  • @tammyballard5927

Vomit what's wrong with there mothers

  • @Harlee1088

Warren looks like bryan kohberger to me

  • @JP-rf7cu

I am familiar with FLDS story. But kind of missed on this guy. I am sure there are many people who knows or feels it’s all BS , but they don’t have any help and are afraid to leave. Also to have young girls having kids so early in their age thighs them completely!

  • @ginaalfonsi1594

Joseph Smith as a teen didn’t understand stand the Holy trinity so he made a religion that’s made sense to him and his selfish wants.

  • @barbaracl6308

He should never be allowed to give sermons from jail!!

  • @Kerbyguardian

You did not describe the biblical/Christian Trinity. You just described a heresy called modalism.

  • @saratullas5509

I’m surprised you didn’t cover the massive YFZ raid where a lot of the underage wives were discovered through DNA testing their babies

  • @lisasmith8517

You did a really good job of summing up the history of the LDS church here in the beginning. One tiny bit that needs corrected is LDS do believe Jesus was born in Bethlehem which is in the land around Jerusalem, not Jerusalem proper.

  • @katharinaangelazafarani7220

Jeshua of Nazareth, aka Jesus Christ, was born in Bethlehem, not Jerusalem … 🙄🤷🏼‍♀️

  • @gachaluna2708

There are so many holes in that story if they really believe the Bible and just believe the Mormon book is an add on. The least of which is that God said he would never flood the earth again. The next time would likely be fire. Like an asteroid or just is being stupid and nuking each other.

  • @Paulina0618

All religions seem cult like to me, but this is so crazy and that people believe in it 😳

  • @JamesDirtRC

Those are all Demons. Angels you wouldn;t see. Fallen Angels Lie and Spread Evil. These Where all Demons.

  • @Kristenm28

Joseph Smith was a freemason, a liar and a fraud from the beginning.

3:00 Jeffs would even choose the colors of the crayons people's kids (I put that in italics bc the cult seemed to have the power to remove children from their parents is mind boggling) cld have in their homes. They all had to wear long underwear underneath those prairie outfits! After his conviction two of his cousins (one of which killed himself) claimed they'd been r*ped by Jeffs when he was a teen and they were just young children. So, he was already a major predator before he's 18. The audio & transcripts of his assault on the 12 yo victim are as sad as they are surreal. In that one doc, Naomie, his so-called scribe (now ejected from the group after being his 'favorite' wife) still spoke in the language of the perpetrator. How Marrieanne wanted to marry Jeffs and have his baby. Why she, and the other sister wives present when the 12 yo was r*ped, were not also charged, is beyond me. How all the wives didnt just see right through such an obvious facade is a real testament to lebgths ppl will go to to not face an ugly reality. Zion, was just unbelievable. He had no problem talking all those people's resources to build himself a church with a big bed behind the altar. It's almost unbelievable. *Pardon if you go over lots of this.. I have a bad habit of commenting at the start,, but i just watched a doc ['Preaching Evil: A wife on the Run'] on this case,, and followed it from the start.

The Bible is VERY clear about a father and son "sharing" a woman. Meaning, it's a sin for a son to have s*x with his father's concubine, wife or even slave, who his father is having intercourse with.
Same goes for a father not having intimacy with his daughter in law, his son's concubine, etc.
Obviously Old Testament, as by the New Testament, men were NOT told to have more than one wife (it was a sin, again, to have more than one. The first time around was a distortion of the marriage edict). This cult using the references of the Old Testament fathers of Israel missed the part where every polygamous marriage had a SHIT-TON of disfunction, did not operate as a marriage like God had intended, and had lasting, generational trauma (you can directly trace the hatred between the jews/Israelites and the middle east peoples today to this).
Anyway, thats my 2 cents on this.

  • @leithsapitan1428

Any time a religion purports sex as a main tenant of said religion is an attack on God. He doesn't like this.

  • @TNx368

Here we see the snarling face of evil in this man, oops monster.

  • @TNx368

Amazing! Clearly men profit the most from polygamy: legal sex with many women, especially younger ones, who will take care of kids, do the housework while the men put their feet up and keep all money and power. How could these women put up with this is beyond understanding.

  • @hencijostephensen

As someone who is apart of the Mormon church, and from utah, I fully love my church. The flds makes the Mormons look bad even though we have different views. Love the deep dive and love your channel! This cult is terrible and needs to be stopped! I can’t believe people follow a man like this!

  • @Peedarb

The doctrines of polygamy and the Adam-God doctrine are directly linked to Brigham young, well after Joseph Smith was killed. I'm a former member of the church and did a ton of research on it. It seems that Brigham Young was trying to accredit his teachings of polygamy, blood atonement, and Adam-God doctrine to Joseph to gain legitimacy.

  • @trishmoore8786

You would think they could set a no contact order up or something. Its not like refusing him "hi how's it going" phone calls, hes being allowed to run a cult and dictate friggin seed spreading for God sake. I don't get it. Unless they are getting info from the calls. Who knows…
