She was an empty shell who needed confirmation of her looks, her love, everything. Even though she wanted to be self assured, whatever was and is going on with her was never going to be enough, and Christian couldn't fulfill her stability so that she could like herself. IMO she had so much anger and self-hatred that that was all she had to give to anyone and herself. I wish someone could have made Christian see it was a losing battle and that she was not his responsibility.

Good lord, how horrible and upsetting to listen to this. She definitely needed an intervention at the least. Sheās very unstable, I worked in 2 different psychiatric hospitals and she would be on the acute admitting unit. Not just reb like her parents sent her to!

This is horrible. His family will be so hurt when they realize what kind of life he led. Iām sure they had some idea but probably had no idea it was this bad. Well I can honestly say that there is not the man alive (and this includes my husband) I love enough to stay with in this kind of relationship. This is heartbreaking. She needs desperately to be convicted and punished harshly.
