As a highly detailed crime investigator, it is evident that the events surrounding the tragic murders of the Collins family and the escape of Gonzalo Lopez are rife with potential missteps and negligence on the part of those involved. The timeline of events, from the moment Gonzalo Lopez escaped custody to the brutal slaying of Mark Collins and his grandsons, raises questions about the protocols and security measures in place.

State Senator John White Meyer’s assertion that this may have been an “inside job” is a troubling possibility that must be thoroughly investigated. If it is found that an officer or individual in a position of power aided Gonzalo Lopez in his escape and subsequent actions, they must be held accountable for their role in this senseless tragedy.

The failure to promptly alert the community about Gonzalo’s connection to the burglary at the neighbor’s house and the lack of transparency in providing a detailed timeline of events speaks to a potential cover-up or negligence in the handling of critical information that could have prevented this horrific outcome.

The Collin’s family deserves justice, not just for the lives taken by Gonzalo’s actions, but for the system failures that allowed this tragedy to occur. It is imperative that every aspect of this case is thoroughly examined to uncover the truth and ensure that such a devastating event is never repeated.

So very heartbroken for the Collins victims and family. We already know what happened to them and why. I hope healing is close and memories so beautiful they ease the pain 🙏🏻.

  • @Will-ch7vh

I really love your work in true crime; I was wondering if you would cover a case out of Randolph county Arkansas. It is a case involving the Elliot family murders. I live in a small community in the country by the name of Pocahontas Arkansas and haven't ever heard the whole story.

  • @sberry80

Con air is a great movie. Its one of my fav movies of all time. I love face off too. They're both the best Nicholas Cage movies EVER!!! They were made when nic cage was a great actor, before he spent all his movie and starting taking every movie offer, no matter how crazy they were. Lol

  • @sagekeebaugh2397

Omg I love the Con Air reference, Annie! I was thinking of the exact same thing while you were describing what the inmates were doing on the bus🙏🏻

  • @user-nf6he1mv4n

I absolutely believe he had to be helped because I worked in the prison system as an officer in Florida and these inmates are stripped searched before being transferred so either someone didn't do their job or he had a weapon shoved so far up his butt he couldn't even sit down. So yes someone messed up somewhere

  • @k.stacey7389

I remember getting the emergency alert on this all the way in Dallas. I have those turned off on my phone and they somehow pushed this one through, only other time that’s happened is a similar incident recently where a cop was shot.

Yes, many, many questions! The question is how is he in this country illegally and why has he not gotten the death penalty? Why do we have open borders in Texas and sanctuary cities? Open boarders and fake sanctuary. Cities (until they’re bussed to those Blue/democrat run cities to take on some of the horrendous pressure) attract people just like this. We have become a Lawless nation in the last few years this guy has murdered, murdered and murdered and goes over the border, hangs out and comes back and murderers again. . look no further than a government that encourages illegals to come over, and do not vet nor observe the laws of the United States laws on the books to enter our country and to protect American citizens. Give credit where credit is due to the Biden administration. 😮

  • @FirstNameLastName-pg8rw

Straight out of the movies. I feel for the parents of those children. What a tragedy.

  • @joutoob9

    1. Drugs (& other contraband) are rampant in prisons. 2. Jail staff are underpaid and have to put up with a LOT of crap. 3. This guy was member of major U.S. + Mexico drug cartel gang. SO yes some combination of inside job and outside coercion probably played a role.

  • @susanpugh5265

    Praying for the family.

  • @estie1850

It's not shocking that this could be an inside job.

  • @kenwalton80

Why didn’t they use dogs when the break in was linked to Gonzalo DNA. Dogs would definitely stopped the murders.

  • @darlenehorsman7722

Finally they got him but he shouldn't have done what he did to this previous family ❤❤to this family

  • @ellywitmer1584

They should've evacuated the entire area completely, they knew what he was capable of.

  • @sherridillon2767

And this folks…is why we need to secure the border. The MEXICAN CARTEL can be dangerous and vicious. A lot of the illegal drugs are coming into USA from the CARTEL. SECURE THE BORDER!

  • @drdoom8686

He definitely had help, if he was indeed in the cartel he could've had people on the outside target a prison guard and threatened his family not really giving him a choice, still such a tragedy though

  • @brendancarey-tb8eb

Been watching these vids non stop since yesterday keep it up laaaaaaday

  • @brendaababey

He was a Cartel soldier for a reason , they are ruthless , determined , street smart and will stop at nothing . It’s not hard to believe he had help, just sucks he had to take so many people with him for no reason 🙁

  • @Moonchild14928

    God bless them all 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

  • @vinnysob6380

The guy was a Cartel member. They wield power in the US. Money and power corrupt.

  • @Jameskenomis3

I live in a small town in East Texas. This case had the entire state angry. This is a good example of why I stay strapped every time I go out of my house. I doubt I will ever need it …but if I do need it I want to have it. The government has failed us at the border to an extreme level. We have no idea who is over here now. This family would still be alive… If this scum would have got what he deserved for his previous murder. If you depend on the police to protect you, you are asking for the worst. Police rarely stop violent crimes. They mainly report them to the courts. Any man who has a family, has the responsibility to protect his family to the best of his ability. Get a weapon and learn how to use it. We don’t live in a nice world. You can’t trust anyone just walking up on your property anymore.

Not sure if there is much info on it, but the Canadian Mass Kill (22 People) that happened in Nova Scotia 2020 has always boggled me, The killer was Gabriel Wortman.

  • @kellyb3274

They searched a 5 square mile radius but they should have started outside that and worked their way in. Also, police should not have let the family go to their house knowing a burglary happened next door to be on the safe side. Obviously they didn't do a thorough enough search of the house next door or the area because he would have been found. Somebody had to be helping him along the way from the time he was searched before getting on that bus.

For everyone having guns on their hips in TX a lot of shootings happen
