In a harrowing and disturbing turn of events, the highly detailed investigation of the heinous crime of 10-year-old Jamie Rose Bolan’s murder has shed light on the chilling mindset of the perpetrator, Kevin Underwood. As a crime investigator delving into the depths of this case, the facts that have emerged are nothing short of horrifying. The details of how Kevin meticulously planned and executed his depraved fantasy of kidnapping, torturing, and cannibalizing a child are enough to send shivers down anyone’s spine.

The facade of a socially anxious, mentally ill individual struggling with his demons is shattered when we uncover the sinister truth of his actions. From luring Jamie into his apartment under the guise of showing her his pet rat to brutally attacking and suffocating her, Kevin’s confession paints a picture of pure evil. The callous and methodical manner in which he carried out his heinous acts is beyond comprehension.

The despicable nature of this crime raises questions about the depths of depravity that can lurk within the human mind. Kevin’s disturbing fantasies and actions showcase a level of darkness that is difficult to fathom. The fact that he planned to keep Jamie’s head on his desk as a macabre trophy and intended to consume her remains is a chilling reminder of the horrors that can unfold when unchecked mental illness meets twisted desires.

As the justice system deliberated on his fate, the decision to sentence Kevin to death by lethal injection is a testament to the severity of his crimes. While some may argue that mental illness played a role in his actions, the brutality and premeditation of his acts cannot be overlooked. The sense of closure and justice that Jamie’s family and the community may have found in this verdict is a small consolation in the face of such unfathomable tragedy.

This case serves as a stark reminder of the darkness that can reside within individuals and the importance of addressing mental health issues with vigilance and care. It also highlights the need for society to remain vigilant against the hidden threats that may lurk within seemingly ordinary individuals. The heinous nature of Jamie’s murder may never be fully understood, but by shedding light on the disturbing details, we can honor her memory and work towards preventing such horrific tragedies in the future.

  • @alextrout2350

This story hit me in the feels several times all I could think about was what if that was my daughter 😢 I don’t think I’d have made it through the court hearing without trying to kill him

  • @keng.2468

This dude is sinister plain and simple.

  • @lanamarie2744

I wonder if he will get "aroused" when he is getting attacked and violated in prison by multiple men, the same exact way he violated this poor defenseless little girl?! Talking like it's just another day at the office!!😡😡😡 I can't even finish this video. Girl thank you for doing the sickening deep dive on this case and many more. ❤️ You are getting these cases heard. Thank you for what you do.❤

  • @CynthiaBowen-ju7ob

I agree I'm sorry she had to go through this horrible treatment. He is the worst monster ever.

  • @megacultureshock

  • @sandrabaker5298

  • @dr.angeliquetrigueros1914

Bro. Damn. HIS INTERVIEW. I am speechless.

  • @mousemd

I know. When you talk to someone and they ignore you or give you a nasty look

  • @brittanynicole489

I always think of the officers and investigators who have to sit there calmly hearing monsters tell them their sick thoughts and behaviors. I would never want to be in their shoes

  • @mikeyrocks8664

His execution got postponed and STILL hasn’t been put down yet. I even saw something online of people trying to save him from execution. What in the actual fuck is wrong with people. It’s not even objective. The dude is a slimy piece of shit

  • @amanda-hg6zo

15 years later and still sitting on death row. And it got pushed back… Again…

  • @jessicastanton9245

  • @sandrabaker5298

Mental health issues and meds are not a good mixture with alcohol.

  • @user-oc1wq6fv3c

I know im going to get a lot of shit for saying this but its honestly how i feel so im sorry if i offend anyone. 1st. Who lets there 10yr old home alone running around outside, riding a bike. You have to work and dont have a babysitter fine. Leave her home alone with all doors locked and she shouldnt be able to go outside to do whatever she once imo. I thought its against the law to leave a child under 12 home alone. I would have worried myself sick knowing my daughter was alone and playing outside but thats me. 2nd. IMO, your childhood dreams sometimes have to end when you bring a child into this world. Mine did, but i gladly gave up everything the day my daughter was born cause i could stand to be away from her overnight. Dont have kids until you fulfil your dreams, definately not 3. I do think the fater was doing the best he could but imo this woman had no motherly feelings at all. In this day and age you cant let your kids out of your sight for a minute. Annie i love your show and your passion on your cases so i hope you dont band me from your channel for feeling this way.

  • @lasttoleave2360

I think I need a break from true crime stories after this , mad me sick to my stomach and gave me absolute anxiety . That poor little girl and her family didn’t derserve this . This man needs to be put down !! evil and absolutely messed up thing . I’ve listened to some cases but this one is up there with Jeffrey dahmer even worse in some respect cause it was a child thank god he was caught cause I think this man wld of been capable of being a serial killer and if this was his first killing imagine what he cld be capable of. If this is his first killing imagine what he cld have done as I find they get worse and more depraved as they go on !
    RIP Jamie 😢

  • @traceyl7991

This guy would have been a sick serial killer for sure. Poor kid 😢… but at least she was what got him caught. She probably saved many more.

  • @tanyaboyce1959

WTF?! IDK how that interrogator kept himself from shooting that MF'er!??

  • @reganmcneil2074

His time is soon, hopefully. It was supposed to be 12/07/23 but was pushed back.

  • @spookyladyUK

Annie, I have no idea at your younge age how this doesn't affect you, you must be very strong, take care of yourself in your work xxx

  • @kwodarski86

Jesus christ. Ive heard the worst of the worst.. I thought.. But hearing him say she was sorry. I have no idea but i have 5 daughters. The hearthache i feel right now and anger i feel right now. I need a break. Fuck..

  • @chainamarie03

Did you film this crime before?

  • @SamanthaURen

The fact that the creep knew exactly what she was wearing… he must have been watching her. That’s a huge red flag. What random guy can remember exactly what a little girl was wearing? That was odd to me.

  • @tommybhamam2809

I never understood the death penalty…. It seems like the easy way out….. let someone like THIS live a complete nightmare in prison

  • @wolfpacksis2007

Whew that one almost made me physically sick. That poor, sweet girl. There is no justice for pure evil such as this. I hope that after his sentence is carried out that her family is able to feel some relief. ❤

  • @lillymurray8408

1:02:43 and that is why you aren’t a investigator… if anything happened to him during that interview and they didn’t get him medical they are legally liable and his family would’ve sued and got millions….

  • @shaenicole9973

I think I need a mental break from true crime after hearing this !!! That sweet precious little Jamie !! So Horrific!!!

  • @helenastack1801

Hi Annie, love your work. Just watched this video today, by any chance do you know if the death penalty went ahead December 2023 as its February 2024 now. I really hope it has fingers crossed 🤞

  • @elisabetcarlsson8627

Jag ställer mig frågande till läkaren som skrev ut mediciner och också ställde diagnosen. Borde inte läkaren både ha följt upp bättre och även sett röda flaggor?? Skickat vidare till psykolog??

  • @hineshomestead3198

This is where we live. I remember all of this so vividly. She was in my brother’s grade. We attended her funeral. So heartbreaking.

  • @user-pw6uv8yu1n

SEXY BEYOND COMPARE…..YOU ARE SOOOO BAD…..🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😘🐊🐊🐊🐊🐊

  • @MsRotorwings

Cutting board? Hadn’t ever heard that used as a weapon before.

  • @MsRotorwings

The quality of the video is bad enough. But I want to know what the genius who installed the camera was thinking, capturing the top of a suspect’s head. Good grief people.

  • @MsRotorwings

Kevin gets the death penalty. But Brendt Christensen’s jury let’s him live. Life ain’t fair.

  • @Mans_Ruin1313

Our old house we owned for 24 years was that old town everyone knows everyone and everyone knows ya beeswax. It was nice, yet annoying as hell! When we sold that house and bought this house, our neighbors want nothing to do with us or anyone else. I LOVE it!!!! 😂❤❤

  • @lorifintel9784

Brovo to the cops who knew instantly they may be in over their heads and called in the fbi!

  • @tmlag3454

Had to fast forward some of this. Made me wanna throw up. So sad.

  • @omarra6781

From a brief search it looks like his death was postponed. Of course. Wikipedia says: On July 1, 2022, Underwood was one of twenty-five death row inmates to be scheduled for execution in Oklahoma. He was scheduled to be executed on December 7, 2023.[7] His execution was later postponed due to a request by attorney general Gentner Drummond, who asked for sixty days between executions rather than thirty "to alleviate the burden on DOC personnel." He is currently awaiting a new execution date.[8]

  • @everettpace4687

Decided to drive trucks and not raise your kids your god given duty great job!!!!!

  • @shannondunaway6830

Latchkey was an after school program as well. I as a latchkey kid can attest to this. We stayed after school for a bit to shorten the amount of time between after school and when parents got off work that we were home By ourselves. But we did have a house key and watched ourselves for a bit before our mom or dad got home.
