The issue isn't a man not being happy with his family. This is the issue of a man having severe mental illness and a breakdown, and everybody ignoring the fact that he was struggling in when we ignore our family members. And our friends that are struggling with mental illness horrible things happen

I am just a year older than Amber and a year younger than Renee. I went to their school and it was very chaotic and sad when everyone found out. Have you ever seen all you class mates and teachers break down? It's not a nice site. The library became the room where everyone went. Even though I didn't know them I still cried uncontrollably. I hugged and comforted my classmates because it was all u could do.

I wouldn't be so quick to label Jason as evil as he was insane. Something occured recently that made him snap. And I don't believe his family was the trigger. It may have been some age old trauma that resurfaced. This incident is just over a month old. Family murder-sucides have increased since 2020. So I'm sure more details will eventually come out. It probably will eventually end up another tragedy story on HLN or ID. 😔

What is it with Ohio and family annihilation? I live just west of Columbus and was appalled when I heard about the Doerman case (though the mom wasn't killed). Now this one, and I actually used to live by Lake Township in Stark Co. It's so heartbreaking to hear of these cases.

I was an acquaintance of Jessie and her son, and I went on the searches over the 9-day period she was missing and the outcome of this case is infuriating and heartbreaking. The details of that case are so disturbing that it made national news back in 2007, and was likened to the Laci and Scott Peterson case.
