In a small town like Okmulgee, Oklahoma, a tight-knit community was shaken to its core when four men, Mark Chastain, Billy Chastain, Mike Sparks, and Alex Stevens, went missing after a seemingly routine bike ride turned into a nightmare. The families were left in anguish as the men seemed to vanish into thin air, their cell phones providing only elusive clues as to their whereabouts.

As the investigation unfolded, it became clear that the men were not just out for a leisurely bike ride that night. A witness revealed that they had planned to “hit a lick big enough for all of them,” signaling that they were involved in some sort of criminal activity. Suspicion fell on Joe Kennedy, the owner of the salvage yards where the men’s cell phones were last pinged, who had a troubled past involving a shooting incident in 2012.

The discovery of dismembered bodies in the Deep Fork River deepened the mystery, leading to the arrest of Joe Kennedy in Florida on unrelated charges. While the investigation continues, with questions swirling about Joe’s involvement and the true motives behind the men’s fateful night, the families are left seeking closure and justice for their loved ones.

As a community reels from the shock and horror of this heinous crime, the truth remains elusive, leaving only speculation and uncertainty in its wake. The chilling details of this case paint a picture of a twisted and dark night that will forever haunt the memories of those involved. Stay tuned for updates as the investigation unravels the truth behind this tragic event.

Has he not been charged with this murder????

  • @justme-cr2zc

Little bit of irony here…."They didn't need much to be happy", but…they were going on a bike ride to get a "big score" (steal something for big $$).

Tell me you don’t know shit about tools without telling me you don’t know what about tools. Saying you need such “strong tools” that they don’t “dull” after dismembering one body is hilarious and stupid.

How strong do you think steel is? A single sawzall blade and battery operated sawzall could easily dismember like 40 people on one battery. And the blade wouldn’t even start to dull. And that’s just one of a hundred different tools that could make short work of that task.

A large circular saw could easily do it, an angle grinder with blade could easily do it, a jig saw with long blade could do it, a portable bandsaw could easily cut off the limbs.

These tools are carbide tipped blades with rotating or reciprocating steel masses powered by electric motors. Countless people every year lose digits in a fraction of a second with these tools and the blade doesn’t miss a beat. Sawzall blades are designed to cut through wood with screws and nails in it. Screws are generally made with hardened steel.

Carbide itself is 100x harder than steel. The strongest bone in the human body would be easily cut, like butter, by any carbide tipped blade. The soft flash of fat and muscle and skin likely wouldn’t even slow a sawzall down. I don’t know, I’ve never done it. But I’ve cut up everything else imaginable with a sawzall and there’s a reason the tool was named “SAWS ALL” or sawzall.

This case is eery in many ways. I never heard of this case so kudos to Annie for searching this out!
My heart goes out to all the families.

  • @Will-ih9rd

I'm very sympathetic towards the men's family's, but none for the men, thieves

  • @SeaStarrs

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes! No sympathy. Stay home, raise your kids! Now they grow up without dads! Was it worth it?
Joe is definitely guilty & should go to jail. But honestly how many times can you be robbed before you just snap?

  • @Kornholeeoo

The only red flags I see are lazy cops.

  • @MeckyJr

The self defense case would not hold up in court ,even if the four victims were trespassing or burglarizing. Under federal law, Kennedy was a convicted felon and possession of a firearm by a felon is prohibited.

  • @badmikefinecustomssanders526

They were going to Rob the scrap yard safe and got caught, that's my guess..thy played F around and find out 🤔

  • @jillmadigan9841

    Catalytic converters.

  • @jackiegillies4165

Decapitation screams drug cartels. BUT, why would these men go "score a lick" on bicycles? That is ridiculous.

  • @mjb6076

Heartbreaking? No not really. These 4 were criminals. They planned to rob the wrong dude and paid for it. Now, should they have been chopped up? No. Shot dead? No. Shot wounded then arrested? Yes. Caught on vid and reported yes. Cops notified of a problem and on increased patrol? Yes.

  • @bridgetbrawley8405

If he was charged previously for protecting himself and property then this happens to him again and without thinking he did it again but afterwards thought to himself well the cops are gonna charge him again…. It's really sad that criminals have more rights than their victims….

  • @LisaGarrett-lt9sj

I'm from okmulgee and know 2 of the boys since they were little I dated their dad for years. They made s mistake they weren't bad people

  • @garyarter5347

Lived in Seminole, Okla. for 20 years. At the time, mt son worked for the Oklahoma Dept. of Public Safety. At their office, they had a map with red pins on hot spots for drug activity such as distribution and manufacturing. Seminole and Okmulgee had more than their fair share. In Seminle County, the Sheriff ran his own marijuana farm using Seminole inmates. These are not "small, quaint towns". They are used for drugs because they are small towns and can get away with more.

  • @sberry80

I hope the families do get answers. Even though they were doing dirtbag stuff, they were fathers, brothers, son's, and uncles.

  • @sberry80

I've been wondering if any of the 4 guys were armed. I think the guys were on bikes because the were gonna steal 1 or multiple vehicles. Because for 1, how are you gonna make a quick getaway on a bike. 2, how are you gonna transport whatever your stealing? 3, i gotta reiterate how are you gonna do anything theftwise on bikes? Even just doing armed robbery at a gas station is ridiculous to do on a bicycle. And i wonder about them being armed because i don't know anyone who is gonna hit the lick of a lifetime without protection.

  • @sberry80

It would be rad if you made a game similar to the sponsor but had you and your channel as like a narrators and as you move up a level in the story your come on with "breaking news" and also could have some one as a cop who his the evidence details and one or 2 people as witnesses or family. It would be really awesome as an emersive digital game

  • @Charlie-Saringo

Instead of stealing catalytic converters exc. watch for the truck to haul them out in bulk then steal the money, it’s all cash business.

  • @worklessalvation

There some stuff in the Water or something… Too much going on in that Area

  • @ritarule1088

The four of them were up to no good. If you play with fire, expect to get burned.
