Why not treat the lice????!?!!!So simple If you can afford mouthwash you can afford lice treatment There are effective home remedies I don’t believe mouth wash is one of them 🥴And as said neither of the adult woman apparently had lice?

  • @kimurton4346

Neither of these 2 evil monsters received enough time for their actions/or non-actions!! 10 years for the mother and probation and community service for the grandmother. Absolutely no justice for that poor baby.

  • @TJCat5

I got rid of my daughter's lice the first and only time it ever happened. I didn't use anything but mayonnaise and olive oil saturated to her head and hair. Put a shower cap on her for 2 hours. Washed hair several times, hot blow dryer after picking any I missed out if hair several times.
The picture of these women suggest they have enough money for food, make up and clothes. Even if things were a bit tight, they could have researched it like I did and did the cheaper less toxic way. It was totally effective.
There is no excuse for that kind of neglect and abuse.

  • @lauracasillas

Mayonnaise, peanut butter, shave her head, and schools will give free lice shampoo.
Any food product with oil will suffocate the bugs. But it sounds like it was so bad that she needed her head shaved

  • @lynnc5252

If the child has medical assistance, for insurance, your family doctor can prescribe a treatment. Sometimes with no copay.
    Also, olive oil works fantastic.

  • @cassiefriedman1446

I dont have any babies at the moment but i can't even imagine putting children through this

  • @cassiefriedman1446

I head lice as a child and luckily i had my mom and bless her she washed my hair everyday and also washed my bedding everyday

  • @AdamTheTruthSeeker

Simple as olive oil from the store can treat it as a home remedy!! You need something thick.

  • @AdamTheTruthSeeker

Grandmother looks like she was in the "Wrong Turn movies". Look at her left eye. WTF I do not want to go outside anymore.

  • @AdamTheTruthSeeker

That. Grandmothers right eye. Yuck. OMG was worms eating her eyes out. WTF is wrong with people?

  • @lnr12241

  • @roxannefields5015

I am a 20 year hairstylist and I help Treat lice for free! 😢this make me so sad!!

  • @0019khudson

this makes me so mad, having lice is NO excuse to not take your child to the ER. at the end of the day healthcare workers do not care. we walk in buckle up and deal with the problem in front of us. we do not judge you we will take steps to make sure we don't get it like hair nets and PPE. but we would treat that child.

  • @emilyi771

Not excusing their behavior, but they knew the lice infestation being that severe was neglect and they didn't want police and CPS called on them.
    Stupid.
    Tragic for that little girl.

  • @hadley407

When I was in middle school I had lice, for at least 2 whole years, maybe longer (I have memory gaps from trauma). My mom was a neglectful parent and didn’t help me to get them out of my hair so a couple times a week I would take a lice comb and basically rip my hair out to try and get whatever bugs and eggs out that I could until they got really bad again. I remember being able to look in a mirror and just see them crawling in my hair everywhere. Ive always had very thick and long hair so that made it hard to get rid of them. I think once I got to be 16 and started coloring my hair all the time it helped me not to get lice again thankfully.

  • @stevelewis6259

This is sickening, Financial or not they could have shaved her head and came up with a excuse other than lice. Such as I was trimming her hair and she moved causing me to snip a chunk out of it and there was no possible way to fix it. Instead of her running around with that patch missing and growing out uneven, We buzzed it. So forth. I'm not understanding why they didn't get lice as well…Or did they? Neglect neglect and treating only themselves. So many ways that this could've been avoided, pure laziness of these filthy people. Yes, I do mean filthy grotesque people. Imagine what it would take accumulate that amount of lice. I'm gonna research it I don't even think cockroaches breed that fast.

  • @BuzzByte24

I can’t even listen to this

  • @colinwhitehead4180

My Daughter got lice several times when she was a young child. But my wife and I made sure to treat it the moment we found out she had them. I would and could not ever just sit back and watch my or any child get that sick or be neglected and abused in the way these parents have been do so lately. If my daughter ever hot hurt while my wife and I raised her we would never have been able to forgive ourselves. It is the parents job to keep their children safe and healthy. Especially since the child can't do that themselves. Thank you for bringing awareness to cases like this Annie. You are a real awesome mom and women. Please stay safe and keep up with the great content. I watch every video you upload even your pod cast you are one of my favorite youtubers.

  • @dog-gone-it5944

I just came upon this video after its been out a year. The one and only time my son had lice I was so freaked out I took my son to the hospital! It's funny now but I had no idea what was in his hair or how to deal with it. I screamed and told the nurse at the hospital I didn't know what to do. She calmed me down…after she yelled at me to get out!😂 Then she told me what to do. She apologized about yelling but she didn't want lice in thr hospital. So my entire home was vacuumed and cleaned. Every corner and crevices were cleaned and of course my sons head was de-liced! No didn't shave his head.
What I didn't understand was, didn't the adults also have lice? Why would they want to live in a home with lice. Even if you don't care about the kids…wouldn't it bother you to have them in their own head. How gross!

  • @user-jv8lg6ys4q

That's my daughter's sister there giving her 3-12 years and life probation

  • @lanahaxer4935

There is a recent case of a man dying from lice in a Georgia correctional facility. They reported they didnt want to even start cpr bc when he was found, the bugs literally decended on his face and body. It was gnarley.

  • @lanahaxer4935

I got lice in 7th grade. I was afrakd to tell my parents bc they werent the kind of parents you could talk to. I couldnt tell my mom when i got my period, couldnt tell them when i could ringworm from the cat and couldnt tell them that my relative was molesting me.. etc. I just had to deal with these things and figure them out and navigate life on my own. The lice somehow disappeared without treatment and my relative eventually stopped .. but unfortunately i still get periods 🥺😭

  • @janearmstrong1966

I'd never leave it untreated but I'm sorry sweetie it is ridiculously expensive and tons of work too! We're talkin days and days of cleaning. And hours and hours of hair picking. Especially when you have more than one child. But you do it because that's your job to take care of them. Or give them to somebody who wants to

  • @janearmstrong1966

A lot of people don't treat the lice because of the cleaning that's involved. You have to bag up all the stuffed animals, or dry them in the dryer on high heat for long periods of time. You have to vacuum all floors and couches and wash any curtains that are close to the floor very well. You know these peoples homes were probably filthy…The lice medication ad furniture spray is very expensive but I found that you can use mayonnaise in their hair. Then you wrap it with plastic wrap and warm it with the blow dryer. The kid has to sit about an hour it basically Smothers the lice in oil but it's so much healthier for the childs brain and scalp, its great for hair conditioning. It's quite the b** to wash the mayonnaise out but at least you're not chemicalizing your child. But that's what a normal parent will do, a good loveing parent that loves her child will do. These people oh my gosh. It's horrible I've never heard of a child dying from lice. I had four children and it was no fun especially for k-2nd grade from because they lay on the carpets and bring it home from school. And only the girls got it , my boy wore a flat top, lol But these people are obviously neglectful very low class maybe uneducated. That really didn't need to be having kids.😢

  • @JewelryNurse

Annie Elise I know it's hard to imagine how a mother could not care enough to call 911 when you really think about it if she cared at all her daughter wouldn't be in this condition to begin with. I mean what does it really cost you to get rid of lice for your child $15 for a bottle of lice shampoo and an hour of your time.. you can bet if Mama had lice she would have taken care of it.

  • @rockinredhead70

Grandma looks like maybe some bugs started munching on her skin! I cannot imagine. If I even see 1 ant inside my home, I call the pest control company. I also have our house sprayed 2x a year inside & out as preventative measures. I grew up in a clean bug free home so bugs in my home are a big NOT GONNA HAPPEN!! Those poor kids. 😢

  • @sarahelizabeth2782

People who are offended by the word “abuse” need to get a fuc*ing grip!! They don’t need to watch YouTube if they can’t handle hearing certain words!! Just NUTS!!

  • @HIGHER7RUTH
