Back in the sixties and seventies the reference Nostradamus made about the brothers was interpreted as being the Kennedy brothers. After 9/11 the brothers was interpreted to be the twin towers. 🤷♀️

I know this video is 2 years old and I'm stumbling on it a bit late, but as the mom of 2 kids in their twenties I have to say thank you Stephanie for encouraging kids to call their mom's. We do miss you guys more than you know

I saw a documentary on Nostradamus when I was a kid too and it scared the hell out of me when they got to what they interpreted were his predictions for the future.

I first watched nostradamus when I was a child , probably 35yrs ago , at 9yrs old too , I was fascinated and scared but have followed his predictions over the years

I think he predicted very vague stuff and after the fact he was like SEE TOLD YOU. Modern day 'prophets' aka televengalists show is how it's done. They predict bs when it doesn't come true, Satan prevented it 😂

36:00 got to love it when you try to use plants and what we'd consider akin to actual chemistry today (processing plants and extracting medicine), but the school and church kick you out for not sticking to Galen's rudimentary 4 humors type of medical knowledge.
I like that you mentioned his interest in medicinal plants, as this is something that village medicine women would specialize in. Later on, these medicine women and men would be among the people singled out as witches though, because they were interfering with formally trained physicians (which was not great in this area at this time!) and there's a break in continuity when it comes to european medicinal plant knowledge since not everything got written down.
Pretty cool that Nostrandamus was studying plants☺️
