New evidence has emerged in the case of the tragic death of Eric Richards, shedding light on the disturbing circumstances surrounding his untimely demise. The highly detailed investigation carried out by Utah detectives has uncovered shocking revelations about Corey Richards, Eric’s wife. Despite initially portraying herself as a grieving widow, Corey is now at the center of a murder investigation, accused of orchestrating her husband’s death for financial gain.

Eric Richards, a beloved husband and father, was known for his kindness, generosity, and devoted family-man persona. His sudden death, allegedly due to a fentanyl overdose, has left his family and community reeling in shock. However, as the investigation delves deeper, it appears that Corey may have had a hidden agenda all along. Suspicious activities, including communication with a known drug dealer, purchases of dangerous substances, and deleted text messages point to a sinister plot orchestrated by Corey.

The seemingly perfect facade of the Richards family has been shattered, revealing a complex web of lies, deceit, and betrayal. Corey’s actions, including her attempt to profit from a children’s book about grief and loss, have only added to the sense of betrayal felt by those who knew Eric and his family. The family attorney, Greg Scordus, has shed light on the true nature of Eric Richards and his unwavering dedication to his family, despite the challenges he faced in his marriage.

As the investigation continues to unfold, questions loom over Corey’s motives and the extent of her deception. Was it greed, a desire for a new life, or something more sinister that drove her to allegedly take the life of her husband? The chilling details of this case serve as a reminder that behind closed doors, things are not always as they seem. Justice must be served for Eric Richards and his family as they navigate the aftermath of this tragic event. Stay tuned for more updates on this evolving case.

Happy Birthday, Eric! 💔 As we dug deep into this story, there was so much more that isn’t being reported. It’s even darker and sicker than initially reported. Wow.

  • @TravelsMints

    Covert Narcisist women are vicious

  • @chartiek

It’s so hard to hear her talk in that TV interview. It’s giving narcissistic vibes.

  • @_KerriganStar

it must have been soo terrifying for Eric knowing he might die soon. And even more terrifying that its his wife thats trying to kill him! thats insane!

  • @_KerriganStar

  • @jeremyjohnston2583

  • @brandonleespitler

After the interview with the Home Depot cashier lady, then the murderous (allegedly) wife…. I've come to the conclusion that the 2 most popular words in their area must be: "You know".😊

  • @jamiehopkins128

As a widow with two small children I am so DISGUSTED with this woman. How dare she kill her husband and capitalize on her childrens pain. I would give ANYTHING to bring my husband back to father our girls. They miss him everyday. It's been two years and I miss him as much as I did in the beginning. Her husband deserved better. She is disgusting.

  • @hannahbarrett9841

A home depot romance huh? She was definitely a tool and had a bit of a screw loose.

  • @Booker596

25:00 dont take a shot every time she says "you know", or she will have killed you too! 👀🤣

  • @kristenmichelle2309

    Yeah, she's a New Killer

  • @kristenmichelle2309

**kindly** use the ***Proper Name of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; there is no such thing as a "Mormon" Church. Mormon was a Proohet of God, and the meaning of his name is Greatness, but the Church was never his Church; this Church is the Saviors Church, hence why it's named after Him, The Church of Jesus Christ. The Latter-day Saint part, has been referenced throughout the Holy Bible.

Mormon, has been used as Slang and not a compliment in most circles (my opinion, not the churches).

Our Prophet, President Nelson, asked kindly, in addition to the Members, that the Media also reference the Church by its True Name, which is, The Church of Jesus Christ ❤❤❤❤

    HUGE FAN!!!!!! ***HUGE***

First, I need to say Thanks to Annie for specifying that the street version of this drug (fent) is the one causing all the problems…for a long time people have had the mistaken idea that legal opioids prescribed by doctors were the problem, when that is not true at all. Addiction rates in patients suffering chronic/intractable pain have always been low, but the hype has caused many issues for these patients as doctors are now afraid of government persecution via states mistakenly making laws out of the CDC's "guidelines" for prescribing. The CDC stated these were not intended as laws. Write your legislatures; people who need legal opioids are suffering and dying! I will get off my soapbox now and address this crime….

Why didn't Erik tell his wife what he'd done after taking her name off the insurance? That would have (possibly) saved his life. No gain for her. She's definitely got issues, to say the least, but why didn't he try to save himself, and how could he stay married to her while thinking she's trying to murder him? This makes no sense. If she was going to write that book maybe she shouldn't have gone on interviews to talk about it. And maybe used a nome de plume, not her real name…hope I spelled that right.

  • @Jaxsnackpack

I know it happened a little while back, but did you ever do a video about the “walk the dog” letter? Would love to hear what you thought especially after that and the Google searches.

  • @laurenlanterns4376

27:19 this is such a dumb criticism but how many times can one person say “you know” in one conversation

  • @cameronmcadoo5649

    Annie Elise you are amazing!

  • @Sarah-2277

Ya know , ya know , ya know
    What an absolute liar
To take the boys daddy away from them is just the lowest of the low 😡
Those poor boys will be left with no parents now
She really thought she was going to get away with it !!

  • @cc2118

The coat she's wearing during the interview still makes me wonder what she was thinking!?!

  • @awakenthewoke1091

Honestly this case is very intriguing. If you knew your wife had recently changed your life insurance( which you were able to change back) and thought that she had/was trying to poison you. Why on earth would you accept a drink from her? Doesn't really make sense at all. There is no real way to explain my confusion about his actions without feeling like I am disparaging a dead person though. If you look at the last picture of him in this video his pupils look rather constricted. I feel bad even suggesting it may have been an accident based on the evidence however.

  • @MrLaulaulaulau

She has all the hallmarks of a sociopath. No feelings and inability to fake them, sheer selfishness, no conscience, limited intellect.

  • @josievaccaro

It seems like greed, and her actions depict total disregard of a person's wellbeing other than her own and outward image.

  • @alicefarretta8989

Yeah she wanted to get rid of him for his money there is no doubt about it

  • @alicefarretta8989

I actually found him in my bathroom he was only 31 years old I am 9 years older than him and he was messing with drugs probably cuz I was never home and he passed away in my master bathroom yeah his heart exploded from crystal meth this drug you're talking about is so poisonous if you come in contact with it on a door knob or anything else that goes directly into your system so it's a very dangerous drug fentanyl and it's a contaminant just like so to anybody that smokes this stuff off of tin foil just know like you're just shortening your life

  • @alicefarretta8989

You know my husband died in 2004 and I would do anything right now to have him laying beside me yelling about my bank account or how I work so much

  • @alicefarretta8989

She did not write that book she had someone else write the book she just let them know the ideas

  • @lynntucker8179

People never think about the children till after the Fact.

  • @lisameyer1373

U couldn't of been more off dear woman!!!
She's not cute. She's a freaking black widow.

  • @alexfroelich3404

We need to play a drinking game … every time she says ‘you know’ during the interview you gotta drink
    My god what a headache

  • @kyleeschaapveld562

Now she leaves her sons without either parent. How sick of her to say it caught all of us by surprise! It makes me sick to my stomach. She was just mad about the will situation.

  • @justinstoll4955

First, let me just say I never want to blame a victim of having any crime committed. And as a devoted father of two I would go to the ends of the Earth to make my marriage work before I got divorced and split our family up. But if I had even an inkling that my wife was trying to kill me, I would go straight to the police station divorce her immediately and have my all movements video taped. No amount of Faith or wanting to work it out would make me stick it out if I had the belief that my wife was trying to kill me for money.

  • @latonyajones439

Did they ever get the answer to why she did it

  • @mzmona3223

What is it about Utah, I have to ask, Norwegian here listening to everything I can find when it comes to True Crime on YT. Every other case is from Utah, somthing in the water there?

  • @QueenTeaSipper

    What an evil ungrateful 🤬🤬🤬

  • @keeperofthe7keys1987

Gorgeous? Really? Low standards in the US I guess

  • @teresadodge567

I think she is guilty and did it because she didn't like having to have her husband agree to the properties that she bought to flip. And she might have lost that law suit for the mud leading info on that one house condition. Finding that out and Eric being a contractor might have been checking that her homes were done correctly

  • @williesnyder2899

The next two books to be written by her?

    1) How I Could Have Done It Better, Had I Done It, Which I Didn’t. You Can Believe Me.

    2) Twenty-five Better Internet Searches For Your Little Homelife Situation.

Depending upon the prison rules new writing projects could put money in her ramen and honey bun commissary account…

  • @williesnyder2899

When hosting a future accuser murderer on your television program, don’t turn your back on her, and don’t drink the water even if you supplied it…because, you never can tell…or “Don’t judge a book by its cover(story).”

  • @williesnyder2899

The lawyer for the accused might need to write a book one day about having to cough up (I’m)plausible excuses for the deeds of her client. That legal load has to be extremely difficult; locating workarounds for all the evidence her client keeps handing over to her opponents.

The lawyer can certainly believe her client to be innocent; it’s a job. How to though not crack an uncontrolled smile while voicing arguments on behalf of someone who is more or less trailing toilet paper on her shoes as she apparently tries to convince everyone that the story she’s authored is genuine.

CPR needs to be performed with the recipient on a hard, unyielding, surface. She needed to get her dear heartbeat-less husband from the bed to the floor. How did she get him to the floor; with the blanket suggested by the 911 operator? OR was her husband already on the floor, and she’d like people to believe she laid down next to him on the floor and then noted him to be “cold”?

  • @crazyhayzy9

Omg she's a vile human being.. "YOU KNOW" <- how many times did she want to say "you know". Greedy disgusting woman. Those poor kids having that as a mother. I hope they have a better life without her in it.
