The prosecutor for the Fulton County district attorney’s office defended Fani Willis in its closing argument Friday, claiming “hostile attempts” to out her romantic relationship shouldn’t kick her off the election interface case against former president Donald Trump. Despite Trump lawyers claiming Willis lied about an affair with special prosecutor Nathan Wade, Willis testified she did nothing wrong. The judge will rule on whether or not Willis will be bumped from the case within the next two weeks.
