Albertsons beats Safeway any day personally I have 4 Wal-Marts and 7 Dollar General/Family Dollar stores (5 of the first 2 of the second) and 2 Dollar Trees within 30 minutes of me I drive an hr 20 minutes to do my shopping at 3 different stores then 2 others for my farm supplies that I could get at any of the towns/cities the other stores are at or I could get my farm supplies 8 miles from my house I try to get everything in 1 day long trip every month to avoid those stores I mentioned closer to me except some farm stuff I get at the co-op my son manages 8 miles from our farms homebase (critter food delivered bulk some chemicals yes roundup and parquet spelling might be wrong on that but the 1 they claim causes Parkinson's no I don't use recommended PPE my family's fine and been using it since the GMOs came around that let us tordon to kill some trees I cut so they don't grow back from the roots) but I travel extra miles to stay out of stores I don't like

It was TOUCH DNA and that can stay somewhere for up to a year and is easily transferred. The DNA doesn't prove he was there that night . The cops know this and are trying to find other evidence. Oh and his cell phone pings can be up to 20 mile radius.

There's a possibility he took the southern route because of road closures on the northern routes I have friends that are OTR truck drivers that were not far from that area around that day that 1 spent the night in a truck stop so he didn't have to chain up in the dark (with 1 person putting on tire chains is hard enough add in darkness and cold wind chill factors in a hurry to get warm if a chain is loose the best result is it damages your truck worst case it flies apart and hits/damages another vehicle or injures/kills 1 or more occupants of the vehicle) because some roads were at the status of chains required to drive several of the northern roads the other friend was in an area a little more north and roads were closed to all traffic till the plows got them in drivable status she spent 3 days in her truck at a truck stop so the long route may have been the closest IDK if WDOT or IDOT would have that information on their websites now but on that morning GPS would've shown what roads required chains and what roads were closed that could be a reason for him and his dad dipping south on the drive to PA also to avoid the heavy snow being from PA they would/should know to look for those conditions before getting out and plotting a route for travel
