Months late: EDB, I love that you can move back and forth between fangirly attention to James and astute legal commentary. I feel so *seen*.

  • @smarieisme8009

I didnt even know any of this was going on. Why do I insist upon living under a rock?

Well cuz its nice and quiet under here….. no one bothers me….. cuz they dont know im down here.

Answered my own question. Not weird or strange at all. Nope.

  • @torijade2246

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚I love you and chat so much, in a world where everything is so awful, our little space here is so fun and safe and I cherish it so much!! Thank you Emily and Mods for keeping this such an amazing community. ❀❀❀

  • @jos0826

Why is Emily so harsh on Owens πŸ™ ? Do they know each other from when she was practicing law? Or is she friendly with plaintiff's lawyer?? I'm super curious lol

Omg, "What, like Yoda strapped to his chest?"

  • @elizabethrose2106

Dr. Shure has a voice as smooth as butter. I didn't realize how interesting snow sport related biomechanics could be until he began to explain ❀

    NEVER FORGET…
Plaintiff Witness Ramon—NEVER admitted sorenson was sking from edge to edge of the ski slope. INSTEAD Ramone Lied as did SORENSON claiming OLE ONE EYE cannot hear was only on the right side of the slope.

Recall terry said when he rounded the turn he saw a sea of bobbing heads DOWN THE CENTER so he pulled over to the right side of the tum to avoid the middle AND their friend or guide who advised him that day said STAY OUT OF THE MIDDLE of bandana and DO NOT GO DOWN the MIDDLE.

Deer Valley CHRISTIANSEN testified- Nope, sorenson lied.
GUARANTEED THERE WAS A GO PRO on terrys head

  • @usaroxx8085

Calling the animation, cartoons, is insulting and these plaintiff lawyers are jags

And EDB not getting why GP expert founded GP events most likely is PRECISELY why EDB should have watched the rest of voldemort green screen

Buehler sounds whiny that the defense expert is disproving ramones testimony.

Skis have upturned front of skies.

2:13:19 judge is jumping in with his own objections [so rekieta and crew are wrong about judge dua sponte calling objections on witness testimony like was done once in murdaugh trial; Daily in obsessed BF murder trial in wisconsin; and Depp Trial. Rekieta being wrong, go figure.

2:15:00 medical medicine like lawful law
    BOOTSTRAP

    YES=national treasure
    And
HOW To Lose A Guy in 10 Days

3:15:40 i am sorry, am I missing something. Sure GREAT, Park City Utah population knows ALL these Ski rules and dynamics…
    BUT
Guaranteed APPEALS COURTS DO NOT, Much less the SCOTUS….soooo there is that.

My husband never understood what a brain freeze was because when he ate cold foods, he only ever felt it in his throat. Definitely experience based. πŸ™‚

  • @sydneyalberts7945

Emily, I always appreciate your honesty. It seriously makes my day. ❀

  • @SomeOne-zw6kh

No time stamps!! NOOOOOO! I always take them for granted

  • @DaisyAruba

These guys do science but they can’t get a professional diagram drawn? I don’t know if these are just better call Saul professionals or what. Did GP pay for ultra super real AI ppl? 1:06:02

  • @DaisyAruba

1:02:54 they should have a graphic designer to make this diagram look proper and less confusing. I have no idea what the hell this is. I’m convinced he was hired to confuse the jury and bore them so much that no one knows.

  • @richardjones-sl2zd

    This makes my blood boil.

His pictorials and calcs are for 'rigid bodies', not for flexible human ones. If I were to kick you in the back of the calf, the torque about your center of gravity would be wholly different from the case of were you depicted as a rigid body. He does not draw attention to the difference in his presentation.

He shows his calculations. So if I get 2 people to crash in a reenactment….how they crash, their positions at every instant of that crash and their final positions also, would all be included as a possible event sequence within a myriad of other possible event sequences all with their own probability density of occurrence. All for different people of different ages, gender and size and in all different snow, skis and clothing and speed and other collision variables as well. What you might call a full verification of your model. And if someone were to take a photo of the end positions of some crash or other that is not within the domain of possibilities of what your model predicts, then you are in deep s**t. No mention of any certified models or software whatsoever.

The animation without a scale…..just like a graph with no dimensioned scaled axis, should not be admissible in court.. just like the graph which caused a fracas in the Murdaugh trial.

The injury to the ribs… no need for a calculation, just look at the EMPIRICAL DATA. Have skiers in the past broken ribs in falls on the slopes without another skier being involved?, and from reading the comments on these trial videos the answer is an emphatic yes… so case proven, no need to go further…..SMH.

  • @joannegrieco8523

I agree with Anne, if they called Terry earlier than they would've had to read in transcripts not the other way around. I think it's on purpose

  • @cheerfulsatanist

Not gonna lie. For a good 30 or so seconds I thought Wilford Brimely was being used as an expert witness….

  • @joannegrieco8523

I don't have a mind's eye yet I used to read a Lot and I understand getting upset that the character doesn't look like they were described or for me Sound in my head. I have such bad time blindness that my sleep time changes almost daily and it makes it difficult for appointments now, before it made daytime working difficult but I did what I had to do. I also have 20/15 vision, better then 20/20, and extremely sensitive hearing plus photosensitivity due to epilepsy and migraines which are part of epilepsy, I also can hear things from a block away especially during migraines and my husband can't hear things right outside the door, it's actually annoying and painful to be this sensitive but I'm the one who calls the cops because I hear a gun and can tell exactly where the sound is coming from in right left 2 block's away terms because I can never get north right etc..and yet I get lost when I used to drive so I have to use GPS with things like turn at the Popeyes before GPS I'd have people write them out in very excruciating details otherwise I'd never have left my little corner of the world…lol

  • @ronswasonbutcuter4474

Don't mind me just simping for the physicist

  • @Sonita888

    James is adorable

  • @bronwynhl

i love this first expert so much. hes such a vibe on cross

  • @captborges

I always thought that eyewitnesses are horrible witnesses (sometimes that's all you got) for the fact that the human brain can be pretty faulty.

  • @Gitaelia

The professor is looking at him like he's a student that is persisting to insist that their wrong answer is right.

  • @Gitaelia

The math teacher completely eviscerated the plaintiff's attorney. Even I can see that if GP's skis were between or under the plaintiff's skis and she twisted, she wouldn't land on him she would careen off to the left. That is just weird … he is flailing so hard.

  • @selenahutchinson4319

Omg Emily!! I love how you organized trials into playlists!!

  • @jillialyce1172

Replay crew: the animation looks like GP and TS were pretty even and that TS cut to avoid hitting the woman down hill from. Did anyone else see or think that when they saw it?

  • @liseklerekoper2441

Sanderson is toast after today. Next step for him should be finding a skilled therapist to help him learn to cope w/ & accept the aging process … among other things.

  • @maraedelacruz

I love the defense expert mr gogh! He seemed like he was thoroughly enjoying himself as an expert! I love Emily's reactions too. Sooo entertaining while i do the most boring thing at work lol. Thank you Emily.

  • @zombiemeg

Replay Crew here laughing my torquing a$$ off at the chat’s comments about Dr Math Daddy’s drawings!
