One of the defence attorneys kept disappearing during the trial. I wonder if he was seeing any of this going on, or whether he was communicating with somebody on the subject of this corruption?

  • @hazelangus

Crucible of cross-examination! I love that phrase, thanks Jim.

  • @hazelangus

Nobody should be signing affidavits without reading them, Jesus H. Christ.

  • @hazelangus

This poor juror. Whoever did this – isn't this stalking? Becky's threats to her are so out of order. Saying she could reinstate the restraining order – that is a threat. Stalking and surveillance behaviours, done to a person who had had three restraining orders against an ex? That's traumatising!!

  • @hazelangus

Yeah, the languaging is probably because the US is obsessed with fronted fucking adverbials. That's why the wind "mysteriously" died down.

Kids here in the UK are being taught them now, which is extremely distressing because it's teaching them to write badly.

  • @hazelangus

I hate what she did to that poor juror. The ex-husband and the restraining orders. Three restraining orders? And her ex called her out of nowhere, right? She was scared, obviously. It's horrifying.

    She's just outing everybody??

  • @hazelangus

This is horrendous. I don't have words. It's a double homicide trial, which you have probably ruined, you're not at some fucking slumber party.

  • @hazelangus

Dude on the right is very slippery, isn't he? Speaking with him looks like trying to catch fog in a hairnet.

He talks a lot without saying much. He's also very good at not answering questions and deflecting.

He answered a question about Miss Becky and whether this was planned, by saying he only actually met her until 3 weeks after trial. That feels misleading, because he was clearly having communication with her.

His wife whoopsie-doodled herself into the courtroom and just happened to coincidentally meet Becky? At the courthouse? Which is also where the Murdaugh's were? Buster, Randy et al, as well as Miss Becky?

This is weird, in every direction. Did Mr Slippery's wife also talk to the Murdaughs? Was she speaking with Miss Becky, or with Miss Becky's colleague, in a way that was indiscreet enough that one of the Murdaughs heard her?

Did anyone encourage Miss Becky to behave this way? Was Miss Becky told by anybody that it was legally ok to behave this way?

  • @LillySmith09

Whether you think he's guilty or not, I'm not sure myself, The state did NOT prove it with their evidence. Also, why would an AG take an interest in this trial. He should not have. I do believe SLED was corrupt. Yes, he was a vile man, an addict, a major thief. but IDK about murder.

  • @l.g.4075

Muddy Waters was even more crooked than ole Becky Hill.

  • @MsASMARVEL

Was Mrs Hill paid off by the defense to mess everything up?? LOL This is horrible… (only 30 min into replay)

  • @margaretskow

The attorneys making these claims against the clerk are the same who declared that Alex had an "ironclad alibi" the night of the murders. Other jurors are not corroborating these claims. The FB post was not related to this case at all. Similar name, but not related. Just saying…

  • @kaylabayla975

But can we don’t anything around her around. Where was the monkey want?

  • @BT2XX

I’m from a small town and THIS is that shit.. for all the Good ol boys, there are these good ol girls…..all they have is the gossip in their mouths.. what a disaster and so sad.

  • @smallgoals

Becky Hill gave tons of interviews and published a book

  • @nadiaaag

Every time I heard "Juror # 785" all I could think about was Stitch being called "Experiment 626" 😂😂

  • @megankeathley6382

@1:32 When you look closely at the Timothy Stone comments, it looks like Bobbi Jo is the ex his post was directed at. Her reply to Karen is “we are no longer together” and talks about how she had to let go of what was keeping her from being “ closer to god. “Wow. If that’s true, then the Facebook post had to be fake unless Bobbi Jo is the juror in question. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Karen then replies “maybe it’s not too late for y’all”.

  • @curtisw502

The chickens have came home to roost. We all were seeing this lax/blasé way in which this courtroom was conducted. I'm not the least bit shocked at this and would guess there will be more coming once thoroughly investigated.

  • @marianneschacht3799

    Could you please stop cursing?

  • @laniyates5732

I mean at this point I'm wondering if this town is its own kingdom or do they think they are?

  • @cathytrinta7777

Emily! Read the Ethics Committee letters! What Becky asks them is not what applies to the book she wrote! They replied with a lengthy letter of dos and do nots that spell out not to do what she actually did!.

  • @silikon2

Assuming Murdaugh is doing this as a ploy to get into Club Fed… would that work? South Carolina will still be holding Alex for the hundred or so financial crimes, separately from the Fed's charges. Even if the trial is thrown out, can't the state keep him in custody until these crimes are tried or pled? I don't think they have to just hand him to the Feds do they?

  • @becibabe7364

Y’all…bringing me back to when time were simpler ❤

  • @Upthebeaver

There is no other option than a retrial if this is true.

  • @ASTALL70

Alec received a few million from his dads life insurance.

  • @ASTALL70

Why is Lafeet still walking around in a suit,
    ?

  • @Tired603

Please don’t promote diamonds Emily ,please

  • @Tired603

  • @451ginette

  • @szybake9629

I don’t trust anyone in that system out there!

  • @jenbarclay4679

why IS it that footage like this can be released?
she could have and should have been treated with more compassion than she was

  • @acovert8241

Just a thought, could Alex and or his legal team instructed Ms Becky to interfere with the jury and write a book to cause another trial? Stranger things have happened. Hmmm

  • @theaniacz

There’s no evidence to what I’m about to say, but I have this weird guy feeling about all of this… like if it’s all messed with from outside even more, either Alec’s family, or something else… but it’s just all too fishy and suspiciously fucked up 😂

  • @cristinanash12

Now I am really questioning where the photos of the wife and son came from!?

  • @CatFromFL

I am one of the few that believe AM didn’t kill his family. I believe they were murdered by someone harmed by him to hurt him. No time to hide gun(s)and he is way too emotional about wife and son to have killed them that way! He does belong in jail but for his white collar crimes not murder. And Miss Hill is guilty!!! Press for her book was her motive!

  • @jchristiansen42

Emily, I thoroughly enjoyed watching your brain melt as the outrageous allegations piled up.🤯

  • @Illumnia548

    Smells like corruption….

  • @maggieann1306

If you're a juor why wouldnt you want to come forward to shut down alligations and the possibility of your verdict being overturned?

  • @JenGerard

Replay !!! Such a betrayal of trust to break the rules with regards to juries

  • @AmandaElle1

What do you think Judge Newman is thinking? What's happening behind the scenes?

This is unreal, like a bad knock-off sequel to a John Grisham classic.
