Most people don't even begin trial till 2 years after being arrested and put in jail. Because people are rude and inconsiderate and all negative things when you have somebody you believe is innocent sitting in jail possibly for something they did or didn't do. And that's what upsets me the most for the people who are innocent and get stuck in jails three or four years waiting for their trial because the system is so backed up. And you make it worse or you used to make it worse by pushing your cases to the bottom of the pile so no wonder people were overcrowded and it was a mess It's horrible Emily

As some one who prefers to blanket burrito, separate blankets/ top sheets are a must, no one gets cold, you can always get a really big comforter or quilt to cover if you want some mutual blanket or just to have top cover that 'looks nice'

UGH. Emily says " I won't talk over the feed" then proceeds to forget and talk over the feed. While her sound is 2x louder. I can't complete a thought, I can't hear what the court lawyers are saying. Listening in my car is like — ouch Emily so loud and still don't know what is being said on the feed. For the first time, I feel stressed by this show and can't listen all the way through. Normally, Emily's shows are great. Not this one. 😢

FYI: There are currently 8 people on death row in Idaho. The average time they have spent there is 26 years!
I think these prosecutors are far too aggressive. They want it all and it's going to come back to bite them. Why the DP? Nobody gains anything from it. I mean, what's the plan here realistically? A case that's throwing away tax money frivolously because if you're gonna seek the ultimate penalty, there should be the ultimate defense. Years of media attention to a guy that should be forgotten (hypothesizing that he gets found guilty and condemned). A whopping 26 years of legal costs, including the best public defenders, judges, the Supreme Court, etc. Again, 26 years of no closure for four families. And then, if he actually ever gets deleted, it's just another body to add to the tragedy. It's a terrible return on investment. If they didn't seek the DP, we probably wouldn't have wasted so much time on arguments and motions that were never going to win. Just lock him away if he's guilty, then we can all move on.

I don’t understand why the prosecution is so mad about the “alibi” they are all saying it’s not really an alibi and he was driving alone. So wouldn’t it all have to be digital evidence that comes in. The defense didn’t have to say anything and they said he was driving alone. Could they be seeing if they can get the black box or camera footage if any with the area he was in?

I am definitely someone who cant be a juror on a death penalty case. Due to my spiritual beliefs, I could never in good concious vote for someones death, no matter what theyve done.
