The Georgia State Senate will hear details surrounding a request to disqualify the top prosecutor seeking a conviction against Donald Trump and his co-defendants in their election interference case. A defense attorney is asking for the dismissal of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from the case after allegations of an “inappropriate relationship” with special prosecutor Nathan Wade surfaced in January. The Senate will hear testimony from Trump co-defendant lawyer Ashleigh Merchant.
