The specialist that was the previous (I think?) witness mentioned TS was on suboxone "to maintain her sobriety"….Well Suboxone is usually prescribed for opiate addiction, I thought she did stimulants like meth…..although nowadays even (or especially, lol) meth is cut with fentanyl. So I understand why Subs may have made her feel better, as that would make her feel better when, longer-term opiate withdrawal symptoms would be alleviated by the Suboxone, even after "just meth"" use.

She does not describe a manic episode properly. It’s a euphoric sustained period of energy, excitement, very extreme interfering with cognitive life. Lack of sleep for weeks

Violation of attorney client privilege. Huge here in MA. Whoever was zooming in on that table could also cause this case to be a mistrial. What the HELL were these camera people thinking? It could also come up in the appellate court that attorney client work product and or privileged information was violated. Could cause mistrial, dismissal, or could give reason for complaint to be filed based on judicial error.

    can't stand this Emily

  • @Ginger_H

Chances are someone on that jury or someone in their family has a diagnosis of bipolar 1, and as someone with that diagnosis, to use that as an excuse for murder is disgusting.

  • @kendallevans4079

She and Joel Guy (Google it) should have a "cooking show" together!

  • @bencegyors

This is fascinating, thank you so much Emily

We're from the UK but my husband & I loved the wingstop girl. Showed it to my 13 yr old son and he thought it was hilarious. We need Wingstop over here so we can sing it. We tried substituting Nandos but it didn't sound the same 🤣. Emma x

Has EDB tried Zapp’s Vodoo chips already? They’re like a mashup of BBQ and salt & vinegar, super tasty.

The Wingstop bit at 2x speed is everything.

The brief horror I felt when I misread Seipel as Spiegel T_T

  • @hairyfrankfurt

It irked me to no end that he said that the fact that she had the mental illness earlier in life meant that it would just, not be better later. No way should my depression and anxiety earlier in life haunt me later in life, I shouldn't be judged on things that happened years ago.

  • @hairyfrankfurt

The defence harping on about injectable medications like that's serious, omg insulin

  • @whyamiheredlb

I am no longer amused at her flirting into the camera, now it’s just annoying. Interesting tho that when the male Dr was talking, she was paying attention and was not “ playing” for the cameras. But with both women Dr’s her focus was/is on the cameras.

  • @nancygarido0000

GUILTY AF… THROW AWAY THE KEY.

  • @charlessanders1342

I watched on how she mutilated his body and was like omg just absolutely insane.

  • @danaleighformon_

Watching this on replay…while scoring an MMPI! Oh boy!

  • @sheatheunicorn

Emily SAME re concerting. I was invited to a concert pre lockdown and I turned down the opportunity because I was 'tired' only to not be blessed with live music for the next few yrs. I will never make this mistake again!

  • @BeerElf66

Replay crew here. I'm in the UK and we also want the cameras in courtrooms, for all the reasons our US sisters and brothers do. I can't believe that the authorities in the UK aren't watching what's happening your side of the Atlantic with great interest and it also worries me!

  • @erinlee8169

    the law needs to change

  • @erinlee8169

this is bullshit her drug use should be added as part of her defense. drug addtion is a brain disease .

  • @savyjett

Its annoyingly difficult not to sing “theres no buisiness like shabusiness” every time someone says her name.

  • @savyjett

I really like the way dr purple answers just the question asked clearly and concisely.

  • @hathhath2444

It sounds like a big case for one defense attorney. It's been while since I've watched big murder case like this with one man show!

  • @lreyescordova

When she said she got lazy it seems to me that the meth trip had landed hard.

  • @lreyescordova

When did a jury of your peers turn into a panel of psychiatrists? It shouldn’t be up to the jury to decide if a person is or isn’t mentally ill. Absurd.

  • @jaynedavis3388

I’m sad that my middle aged body pays consequences for my favourite breakfast of cold pizza & a glass of coke

  • @leslie3933

    She looks dangerous.

  • @Kameab1213

I have bipolar disorder and I don't go around dismembering people. come ON!!! I have an injectable and I'm not going to kill anyone.

  • @autumnsirens

I would have loved to see them give her the MCMI in addition to the MMPI if they're going to speculate about diagnoses. The MCMI was developed and standardized for people who have already received mental health treatment and it aligns with DSM-V diagnostic criteria.

  • @marycahill546

Canadian forensic nurse here. Agree she is responsible for her acts. Her craziness was caused by illegal drug consumption, not a serious mental illness. Horrendous case.
