Can we just take a second to appreciate the intro song? Idk how but it fits S.H. so well. Addicted to her videos!!

  • @user-wd9oy4lz9t

Pamela's behavior was 100% unethical. My husband is a psychiatrist. He absolutely can not prescribe, or treat, friends or any family member. It's a No-No. I am appalled. Not surprised, but appalled.

  • @bzb3153

You live in upstate ny? I live in syracuse, what a small world!!

  • @jennifernicewonger8273

I think mental health therapists should 10000% have an active therapist themselves. Think about it. They have to carry the weight of all their patience trauma. They need an outlet for the work they do for sure! And there's a huge conflict of interest for family members to council thoer family. My aunt is a therapist, and she can't shrink us. It can cause them to lose their license

  • @melissaadams8773

Yeahhhhh, she’s not allowed to practice medicine in N.Y. That means she can go to any other state and practice! I watched this happen with a surgeon from P.A. He killed a patient, was told he couldn’t practice in P.A. And sadly enough, he came to practice in the hospital I worked at! It scared the crap out of me! Moving from state to state is what they do when they do wrong, they don’t learn, they just move on. Lawyers are quite able to do this too. They have our lives & hearts in their hands and they don’t care……it’s all about their egos and of course, money!

  • @erikaraye9387

I’m late to the party and I hardly ever comment on YouTube. I felt compelled to explain that most therapists have therapists. The job is taxing. Imagine dealing with the trauma of patients everyday. It’s hard to be the rock that your patients lean on without having someone to talk to about it. Honest to whatever god you choose to believe in…if your therapist isn’t seeing a therapist, you shouldn’t be seeing them. ❤

  • @Angela-dx6cs

Family ethically can’t give another family member therapy. Of course no surprise I guess since she hired someone to murder her ex- partner.

  • @jeaninethompson3078

Could be the 19year old agreed to stay with folks but didn't say that they were in Florida at the time?

  • @Galivantin

I do believe Pamela being the mastermind should be changed with the attempted murder, just like Charles Manson or the 45th President of the United States for his role on the violent insurrection that took place on January 6,2021. There is man old saying “guilty is the man who kills a cow as the one who holds it down.” It’s an Spanish saying but you get the idea

  • @Galivantin

19:19. Baptism is for the forgiveness of sins, so a baby or a toddler won’t understand it nor can’t they ask for it. It means you have died to the world, there are no infant baptisms in the Bible. Thank you for your channel ❤

  • @kaylahall8300

I feel like it’s mandatory that therapist and psychiatrist have to have a therapist because how can they deal with everyone else’s issues and not have it stick?

  • @Xo_Its_Jess

I'm going to be a Sunbird instead of a Snowbird
Running to the colder states 😂

On another note, I’m so tired of mental health, let’s blame everything on mental health issues.

  • @danid7543

Stephanie is hilarious when she gets riled up. I love the rants about how Pamela is out of her damn mind and her house smelling of 'rich mahogany' 🤣
I think the the sentencing was right, although I hope that Pamela is always kept an eye on

  • @niaselah3348

    Kinda like Emotional Incest Rape

  • @anaya3148

    I LOVE UR SARCASM LMFAO

  • @rebeccahughes7766

Therapist and government systems are infinetly more likly to support the abuser than the child. Therapist will gaslight the hell out of people seeking help after abuse before they remotely help. You'll be treated like your the problem for needing help and shouldn't be in the situation and that's your fault. If it's the child it's well it's natural luck of the hand, cpuld be worse, survival of the fitest type mentality even tho an animal can run and remove themselves if they so choose at any age up to the ability to attain food easier than a human and the child will actually get reproductions for trying to survive in any fashion. The system has definetly flopped to a sit down shut up father right before all rights system. If he does anything wrong and you think anything other than the father being perfect it's the mothers fault bc men never do anything wrong unless a women makes them or lies abut them. It's getting pathetic also if they do abuse they are the victim it's really really bad in more extreme right leaning areas. They are trying to get it as close as possible back to the "good old days" while trying to play perfect victims and perfect heros. It's sad bc people are all like epstein epstein but there fools will support a pedo in there own community claiming its women's false claims. Virtue signaling. It's pathetic bc when you think about it the people interacting at those levels doing what they were doing had such emence peer pressure and an entire mind F to get there. While the average hoe chomo has no pressure and temptation outside of personal dominace and gratification knowing they ruined someone life. I know this isn't one of those cases like that fully but still the insanity in the reality we live in.

  • @angelawidner1453

As a psych major, that joke is to help us cope. And we become psychiatrists to diagnosis ourselves. 😂

  • @destinyschmidt21

Haha and the Grammy for best actress goes to, Stephanie Harlow!! I loved her impression of Pamela 😂

  • @user-le9dw8id4f

Stephenie you do a great job with these YouTube vidios. Keep going, I find them so interesting and enjoying to watch. Libby M-F

  • @CinnamonGal97

This woman is seriously the most vicious, gross manipulator ughhh I'm so disgusted. Taking advantage of a family member who trusted her with his mental health. I'm very glad she ended up in jail.

  • @Dpolo2492

Pamela got a mosquito nose ijs

  • @TheForeverLovePink

44:52 this is why ethics codes for most practices includes something about “multiple relationships” … I work in behavioral health and we all roll our eyes at that code, because using my expertise feels so natural and useful for family members and friends. If I know how to help I want to help. But stories like this make me go “oh yeah that’s why” 😅

  • @mckenziecameron2514

My guess is Jake was allowed to leave the state and live in Miami with his parents was because of his bipolar diagnosis and the impact it had one him. There was evidence that he could not live on his own or hold employment, and obviously he could not return to live with his cousin, so living with his parents after he bailed out was the best options. It’s likely he was remanded to their custody.

  • @debbiebecklehimer495

I absolutely love listening to your Pod Cast’s !! I not only love learning about these cases but I literally LEARN about the way things work ( life and how some of these men and women’s minds work ) Take Care ♥️

  • @Globelle

Stephanie PLEASE do a deep dive on Dan Markel. PLEASE

  • @Globelle

Stephanie is plain AMAZING!!! I love how she tells every detail and her personality is just perfect!!!

  • @shellbell1974

I have such a problem for people who take advantage of mentally ill people who are vulnerable. Jacob should still be held accountable.

  • @midnightmak3up

37:49 joke about your mental illness if you want. you HAVE to make light of it or it will destroy you. don’t listen to this, but don’t make jokes about others / at their expense. i joke about my bpd to make it easier to handle. don’t tell people how to handle their own illness please.

  • @imaniquetzales8952

my apartment smells like rich mahogany 1:07:35

  • @irenestrmnss4496

PAMELA LOOKS LIKE A WRECK ON THE PHOTOS

  • @hayleyyjay

You’ve always been one of my favorite crime content creators. I wondered off for a year or so to binge on Kendall Rae and Annie Elise but now I’m back and more hyper fixated on your content than ever. Forever one of my favs. Thank you for all your hard work

  • @reesaallen5474

Who’s walking around with a sledgehammer and a knife in a duffle bag?? Every truck driver ever. 😂😂

  • @whatstheproblemUSA

Love the podcast but I hate the 6-10 min advertisements. Is there no way to share the info quicker? I always over or under forward through them. Annoying

  • @ferociousgumby

It makes my blood run cold that this woman was a psychiatrist and that people trusted her with their mental health.

  • @nicolemtz30

Am I the only one who LOVES her intro 😍😩

  • @mhmhmhmh5278

Who took the picture of them in bed?

  • @aliciamanus4274

When you realize exactly how much Stephanie you play (even as background noise is great!) when your 9 year old son slides in the room with socks on wood floors, while booty shaking and singing every single word perfectly to the opening music 🤣😂 we love some Stephanie around here

  • @cindylangs4882

Stephanie, Criminal Coffee is not just your coffee company…. it's Derrick's too. Idk how you can sit there like it's your own when Derrick is just as much involved as you. It's deceptive and just plain icky.

  • @jessie_dreams_

It's giving Cersei and Lancel Lannister 😂

  • @irenearias9411

as someone with anxiety, depression, bpd and bipolar i feel so much for Jacob. I have been through very dark times in my life and i know how vulnerable to manipulation (and in general) someone with bipolar can be while in a manic or cyclothimic period (idk if its called that in english my brain is just associating from spanish). i also dk what pamela was giving him but your state with bipolar is specifically delicate about the medication you’re taking. i believe it’s fair that he serves some time but i think this should be in a mental health facility.

  • @Toscanilda

You should really do proper research before speaking out about mental health and mental health professionals if you're going to makes a video involving It you know.

  • @peterross8552

Love love love Stephanie's podcasts and I appreciated the research that goes into them..hard work, but I hate hearing about the sponsors…just want to get straight in…lol

  • @mrsweetpotato4354

That coffee maker seems like a lot of work

  • @Savvy.

I don’t see anything wrong with mental health professionals having their own mental health professionals. It’s mental maintenance, not necessarily an admission of instability.

Obv Pamela is a mess, so I’m not defending anything about her lol.

  • @Kyvaluv80_mouse

I think it's probably going to take Jake awhile to trust any kind of therapist after that, and as for Pamela she should have gotten more time. I'm just glad coulder got to be with his father and sry if I spelled name wrong

  • @phillipcarter7335

Oh my God. I like can’t. Yes, let’s talk about a serious and devastating matter, immediately after boasting how I am clearly solely responsible for a deodorant company running out of the scents I love when I spread the word they exist! My suspicions have been confirmed one too many times regarding the slow burning narc vibes I have been getting from this channel. So sad considering this channel has overall in depth and informative content. The rest, the unnecessary additions, are just too much for me.

  • @IzzyOnTheMove

The idea of letting a disturbed teen on medication taking care of your 4 year old is disturbing to begin with. This coming from someone who has married to a person who I used to love with all my heart and who has a serious mental illness. I tried EVERYTHING to help him, including involuntary commitment, and still had to end it after 10 years and a half. And we have no kids.

  • @tempestaspax

Ma'am, are you a Capricorn? "…But also I am always right" Such Capricorn energy. We love a fellow earth sign.
