The interview with her in yellow breaks my heart. First of all, she is completely alone. Her baby is missing!!! Why isn’t a family member, friend, local church member, or AN ATTORNEY with her?!?!? She is young and obviously not well. Regardless of guilt or innocence, she is a woman whose child is missing. As PEOPLE we should be doing better!!! This entire family dynamic and situation is bizarre.

Sadly, we now know her death was not accidental and was definitively ruled a homicide. We also know that the trial has been postponed until 2025 because Megan fired her original attorney and was appointed a new one. She will drag this on forever, if she can.

"If they don't go tonight I'm going to go get her" Uh I'm sorry but I wouldn't be waiting til nothing! I wouldn't be doing an Interview, I would be headed to that location! When my niece ran away, my husband & I left work to go to the location to look for her. We drive around for hours & knocked on every door in the neighborhood someone on Facebook told my sister she was last seen. My husband ended up finding her with an 18 year old (whom he chased & tackled becaise he took off running & ended up breaking his wrist because of the way he landed) You don't sit around & wait for this or that you find your baby! & this was just my neice?!? I would go to the end of the earth to find MY BABY!?!
She seemed super sketchy from the very first moment. From the way she just kept saying "I just want her home" when the interviewer asked how she FELT. She couldn't explain how she FELT.
That's a telltale sign or psychopothy isn't it? (The one where the person doesn't have normal feelings like sympathy, empathy, sadness for things like someone losing their life, etc. I sometimes get them confused with each other)

As a mother of four, I don’t see this interview as bizarre. When she talks about her child her eyes light up and she smiles…she frowns when sadness comes up and I see wells of tears in her eyes. This does not mean I don’t think she is guilty…I just think you are reaching with your comments. Let your audience come to their own conclusions.

Annie this whole case was a damn circus tbh which is sad for Evelyn a very close family member went to school w this girl she had issues but tht in no way excuses what happened I’m js tht interview she said tht”WAS”her favorite thing the bathtub she didn’t say it “IS”her fav thing. That’s how we knew right then it was local news. There is no “campground” in mendota btw there’s only places if u know someone or family there trust me ik this for a fact!! If u don’t know someone there u don’t go camping there all tht land is owned by the locals again ik this for a fact. There’s campgrounds near there but not where she said. I can’t explain to u how small of a town mendota is there’s not even a red light there if tht helps there’s no gas station it’s 20min away and every one knows everyone so unless they knew someone yr not camping on someone’s property. And I’ll tell u this as well Blountville is a pretty tight knit community ESP the police/lawyers/court systems/&etcetera

I just want to acknowledge the fact that she at least made sure to actually have a little bit of tears when she cried, most of them cry without any tears. But, fortunately for the public and police she is still a horrific actress even with the tears added in. She saw her Daddy say he was threatened by her Mama and then her Mama got arrested after fleeing when the Amber Alert was issued and it was like a lightbulb went off in her head to use that in her new story. I think they put the body there to frame the Dad, they were keeping true to the promise to make him regret reporting the baby missing. Megan knew the body was there because she put it there. She was so scared of going to jail to that she pissed the bed, but was not capable of hiring her own child or Knowing not who did and helping them cover it up. They decorated and put those things with her body like people do to loved ones graves. This is the most disgusting case I've heard in a long time. RIP sweet girl, you and your grandaddy will be together again one day. He loved you and fought for you, I'm still thankful you had him.

I don’t understand why everyone refers to Evelyn as 15 months old. Evidence indicated she was unalived in December of 2019, when she was 13 months old.
