Mother files lawsuit against Snapchat, alleging sextortion as a factor in her son’s death

Hey girl, have you heard about this new true crime documentary that just dropped on Netflix? It’s called “The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel” and let me tell you, it is wild.

So basically, the documentary is about this 21-year-old girl named Elisa Lam who goes missing while staying at the Cecil Hotel in Los Angeles. The hotel has a really sketchy history – it’s been the site of multiple murders, suicides, and even had a serial killer staying there at one point.

The whole case is just so bizarre. Elisa was last seen on elevator surveillance footage acting really strange, almost like she was being followed or was hiding from someone. And then her body was found in the hotel’s water tank weeks later. But get this – the lid to the water tank was closed, which would have been pretty much impossible for her to do herself.

There are so many theories about what happened to her. Some people think she was murdered, others think she was having a mental health crisis. And then there are all these conspiracy theories about the hotel being haunted or even being involved in some sort of government cover-up.

I just finished watching it and I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s one of those cases that just sticks with you, you know? The whole thing is so tragic and mysterious.
