@katpeabee
I've lived my whole life in Ontario and I can say I've never heard of this case (not that I remember). That's crazy to me. Huge props to Stephanie for pronouncing Lefebvre correctly.
@stevelindsay3643
6 boys don't vanish without a trace, and what's up with the cops. Are they that incompetent. I'm leaning heavily toward foul play.
@MamaB23
Ontario resident here never heard of this case! Wow!
@goatera1594
Lived in Ontario all my life n never heard this story crazy
@rcfunandadventures
I like to say Im shocked that the NRP messed up something but sadly nope. They are useless. Look up the case of the NRP officer who accidentally shot a fellow NRP officer who happened to be sleeping with the shooter wife , ya pure accident eh.
@chemoboy-dannypheleps9234
There are literally hundreds if not thousands of boats in that lake. Cars too. The sonar thing would be a major waste of time. If they were stealing shit out of people’s boats, more likely someone caught them.
@robertwelling2982
Rip lost 6. Well never forget you.
@robertwelling2982
There’s no way they all drowned. I spent my childhood in that area. Many many times took a inflatable child’s dingy out there. In the lake and the river that runs through it. Pickering Ajax was going through a huge boom in population and home builds. I’d be all over ten builders and community. No one like bad publicity. Expecislly 6 missing boys. This stinks of a huge cover- up. Huge.

im watching a bunch if Stephanies vids in a row…since ive seen all the recents im going through for any ive missed…and compared to other videos…she sounds drunk or high in tgis video. Not that it matters but it threw me.
@henryfonseca4198
I think human trafficking might be the only thing no one would suspect
Especially after you make 2 boats dissappear along with the boys.
Sad to say.
Sold into a horrible place.
David Paulides missing 411 is
Where i first found out about this case.
@kmartin3115
I honestly feel like when people go missing without a trace at all it’s an alien abduction 😞I know a lot of people are nonbelievers and I’m not trying to make a joke out of this situation by saying that because it’s terribly unfortunate and sad but we can all agree that there is so much to the world and universe we truly don’t know or have answers to we can’t be the only species here but my condolences to the family and wish them peace and closure but sometimes things are better left unknown for your own sake may the memories of these young men live on 🕊️
@awuma
I was living on my boat in the marina next door to the one from which the boys supposedly disappeared, but I slept soundly that night. The search for the boys began some 30 hours later (I was surprised by a Hercules flying around). The fact that the boys' disappearance was reported by two girlfriends a day after they vanished says a lot about the circumstances in which they lived, but a large number of people searched the shoreline for weeks afterward. Later, the rumour was that the crime rate in Pickering dropped by a half after their disappearance. At the time, Pickering was a peaceful blue-collar dormitory town of post-WWII bungalows on generous lots. Since then, there has been a lot of development, the marinas have shrunk (some gone), their yards built over (one family actually owned the bay). The disappearance was widely publicised, and there was a large community involvement in the search, despite the boys' bad reputation. Police divers conducted searches for some time afterward.
The subsequent history, as presented here and in other videos, is strange. I spent winters on my boat in Frenchman's Bay from 1993/94 until 2000/2001. It had a vibrant live-aboard community, and two yacht clubs. Toward the end, there was a noticeable biker presence there, but I don't recall any in early1995. The bikers were nice guys (!!) who attracted some very "interesting" women… I should note that the water in March was very cold, and that particular winter there was no warm water flowing into the bay because of a breakdown at the Pickering nuclear power station in December 1994. Even though the winter was mild that year, the ice in the bay was worse than in the brutal winter of 93/94.
@awuma
15:38 Wilson is much closer than 123 miles from Pickering (more like 40-50 on the water). I think Stephanie used the road distance provided by Google. 17:46 It is extremely difficult to get back into a boat with substantial topsides without a ladder or assistance. And the water was extremely cold.

They never left the dock

Happy New Years!
Stephanie, I love you for covering Canadian cases. Please, please cover the the lost boys of Caledon. I'm somewhere around that region and this case has been haunting me since I learned about it- the case of Eric Lloyd Larsfolk and John McCormick Jr. Those little boys have been missing since 1981. Their bodies have never been found. What's worse is that people have completely forgotten about them. I didn't even know about the case until I started digging through archives. Very limited media attention and I am just haunted by this case in a way that defies explanation.
These lost boys of Pickering… I've been to the Great Lakes a number of times and anything can happen. They took some pretty serious chances going out on the water that night. It can be absolutely peaceful and calm when you head out, and then you get rocked by a ten minute storm that produces insane waves that can eat any water craft you're in- just to be all sunshine and rainbows again ten minutes later.
The lake ate them. They went out on the water and down they went, nothing mysterious about it. It's sad, but MUCH stranger things have happened in those lakes. I always wonder what would be found if you drained even one lake with a giant wet Vac- but then, would we really want to know?
People seem to be oblivious to how dangerous these lakes truly are. Pounding waves and serious rip currents- the lakes are powerful and have sunk more ships than the oceans have. You want to know where these boys are? The bottom of Lake Ontario. The lakes are so cold that the bacteria which would cause their bodies to fill with gas and eventually float can't survive- especially in March. That means if a body gets pulled under, it's going to the bottom and it's not coming back to the surface. We have no idea how far these boys took the water crafts out that night- if they got a good distance out there, a water tricycle is a joke that would have provided zero protection. What would have caused them to capsize at the same time? A big wave. They can form out of nowhere on the lakes, which are responsible for an insane amount of shipwrecks. If those water crafts where in a similar location, the same wave could take them both out.
It's no mystery whatsoever what happened to them. The real mystery is the lakes themselves- far more beautiful and deadly than most people realize.
@romansedano8017
IM JUST NOW WATCHING THIS MARCH 17TH 1995 I WAS BORN 😂
@Gamerishell
Why would they do that that's so dumb of them
@audibjornsson6107
A big bull shark got em
@stephaniephouotrides2435
Only celebs and the government can get away w murder. The drug problem is also government sanctioned. These boys probably saw something they shouldn't have.
Wake up, peeps. Stop being sheep
@dinagarcia2528
I think police are covering something up.
@chaneltwotimes2576
Just jump into the topic 😫 gosh
@AellaWW
Before even starting this video i knew the only way they could go missing without a trace is drowning in sea or lake
@ryane.748
This sounds to me like a local cover up, local cops were drug running, kids at the wrong place, wrong time
@lawoftheuniverse8089
I tell ya Stephanie… I am pretty much a Life Long Torontonian and until you did this Video, I am damned if I can recall every hearing about this case…thank you for doing the video as you always have the depth that others don't… 🙂
@Glytched356
I was born and raised in Toronto and I have never ever heard of this case. I was 15 when they disappeared too. Another thing, there is also three people who also all disappeared at the same time… i think they're called the Toronto Trio. Theres barely anything on them at all — and Nicole Morin? She also disappeared without a trace and she's from Toronto.
@bloodyneptune
Could it be possible the boat hit the water bike, and everything went down? The boats speeding around, they decide to go back to the guys on the water bike, its dark and they're drunk, and they hit them by mistake and both boats are damaged. The cold waters would have sunken the bodies, the strong currents taking anything like hats or shoes way farther away, and when they surface its just assumed to be regular debris
@jeffmoore4279
Ya I gotta say I’ve lived in southern Ontario my whole life and never heard anything about this until today, I’ve got a good memory and it’s doubtful I’d forget about 6 boys going missing
@obri3381
Cops had something to do with it
@JudyLBeres
Could these boys have been recruited to do something risky either by drug lords or police and something went very wrong? Why would the case have any redacting if it were just a missing persons case? Has anyone ever done age progression of their pics? Maybe they were brainwashed and are middle aged men living their lives somewhere with no idea of who they are.
@DDMARST
I think they witnessed something they weren’t supposed to see out there on the water.. wouldn’t be the first time people have disappeared solely bc they saw criminal activity.
@jr4970
Has divers with purpose been contacted?
@MomlovesMetal
I think you highly underestimate the Great Lakes…
@nancyguzman8756
You can clear your criminal record in America too. You get it expunged.
@shezmullen2306
I also don't think these boys ever went on the lake in any kind of boat or trike… perhaps when they were raiding for booze supplies they came across contraband, or witnessed something they shouldn't have. I feel that they were whisked away by either the police (Witness Protection) or the criminals (taken away in a van, and – sadly – taken care of… if police were involved in shady stuff, well… good reason for a cover up…
@Xvalandra99X
Two thoughts.
1;
Has nobody possibly thought that there could have been an altercation between the boys? Where one or more ended up dead and the others covered up then split up and disappeared to avoid a murder case? Because all six disappear at once, the police aren’t going to come to the conclusion without evidence of one or two being murdered and the rest fleeing…just a thought.
2;
Like others have said, a cover up because tonight is the first I’ve ever heard of this case and I’m a huge true crime buff and this seems like the type of case to have more coverage, books, documentaries etc out but I struggled to come across anything on it. It reeks of fish. Cover up, the boys seeing something the shouldn’t have and been permanently shut up.
Also, the boat and water cycle just vanishing? Weird as hell. Another theory, the owners of them did something to the boys? Set up them stealing the two vehicles possibly after dumping the bodies in a deeper part of the lake but that then raises the question of how could someone or two/three someone’s take control over six teenage boys.
Another thought occurred whilst writing this, has the lake ever been dragged? Or divers sent in when the water is it a warm and safe temperature?
Okay so more than two thoughts but there’s so many theories that could have happened with this case.
Something fishy definitely happened though.
@MegaMorve
Lake Ontario can be wild…it's huge
